Sunday morning we got up and headed to the BEACH for a full day of FUN!! We used the wagon this time!! Kids LOVED it!! It isn't a far walk but easier to get everything down with the kids by using the wagon. We were so blessed to find an amazing home to stay in that had EVERYTHING!! Wagon, umbrellas, chairs, beach/pool toys, towels, coolers, etc. you name it she had it at her home!!

We weren't on the beach long before Emery met her a friend!! This is Tessa!! She and Emery were about the same age and both with curly blond hair!! So cute!! We had a great time playing with her and getting to know her parents.

Max had a BLAST swimming in and out on the waves!! He was ALL about the water this year!! Emery was still hesitant of the water today but she loved playing in the sand.

We stayed at the beach for about 2 or more then headed to the pool for a little while. Grabbed some lunch on the way back towards the pool.
Fun pool time!! Max learned how to do a spin while jumping into the water! He is getting so BRAVE!!

After most of the day in the sun we headed home for naps/rest time. Emery fought and fought us. She DID NOT want to nap. After about an hour or more of fighting with her she gave in and passed out!! We knew she was exhausted. Craig started singing "I fight authority and authority always wins!" LOL
Another great perk of the house...there were TONS of games, movies and books for the kids!! Max loved this checkers game we found there. He loved learning how to play from Daddy and Pawpaw!!
After naps and rest time we all got ready to head out to dinner!! We choose to go to a new place (well to us anyways) and a local favorite Dewey Destin!!
It was down on the harbor. When we got there we had about a 20 min wait time so we took the kids down to look at boats. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked down to find a REAL life pirate making balloons for the kids!!
Max and Emery stood over to side just watching him so closely!!
Max picked out a sword and Emery picked out a butterfly!! So neat!!
Not long after our fun down on the harbor walking around it was time for dinner!!
Max and Emery LOVED being able to watch all the boats come in while we were eating. Dewey Destin was fabulous!! We had some really yummy fresh seafood!! Will def have to come back in the future!! And the view wasn't too bad either!!
After dinner we made a Target run to get a few things we couldn't get at Walmart the day before. We ALWAYS love looking in the dollar zone!! Check out this turkey hat!! Hilarious!!
All in all a GREAT first full day at the BEACH!!
