It's A Girl!!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

We found out last Thursday that our sweet little blessing is a little girl! Words can't express how excited we are! Max is going to be a awesome big brother to his little sister!!! I think the reason I haven't posted on the blog is because I still don't believe it! I mean I truly thought it was a little boy....well guess what...I was wrong!!! (yes I am admitting I was wrong...lol) The true blessing is that she is healthy! Craig and I have just been praying over these past few months that whatever the sex we just hope he/she is healthy!!! Let's just say it GOD IS GOOD!!!

I must say I am a little scared of raising a girl though. I am now praying for God to help guide me in this area....because honestly I have no clue! I mean I am a woman myself and I KNOW how DIFFICULT we can be!!! LOL!

So we have been playing the name game for a while and we have come up with our sweet baby girl's name:

EMERY KATE LAWSON!!!

I have already started thinking of all the things I will be making this precious little one! So keep on the lookout for future posts...I am sure I will come up with lots of goodies in the next 18 weeks! Now if I could just get over the nausea at night.....I could get so much more accomplished!!!

I know you must all think I have gone out and bought lots of PINK but actually we haven't bought much at all! We went and ordered her furniture over the weekend which was pretty exciting! It is going to take 8-10 wks to get in....so that gives me about 8 weeks to get the nursery together...yikes that isn't much time....I may need some help on this one! I did go out and purchase some fun girly fabric and a few bows!!! I am sure by the next time I post I will have lots of other goodies for her!

Easter with the Lawson Family!

Got a quick picture with cousins Laney and Linley before they changed out of their beautiful Easter dresses!

I love how the girls are loving on Max in this picture! So cute!

Grandmother Lawson made a very cute Easter bunny cake! The kids all loved it!

Now for the Easter egg hunt with all the cousins!!!

Max did a great job looking for Easter eggs! I think he finally got the hang of it the 2nd time around!!!

We tried to get a picture of all the cousins....well.....we took prob about 30 pictures!!! LOL! He is one of the good ones....

And another....it isn't very easy getting 6 cousins to all look at the camera at the same time!!! Oh well!

Max enjoyed spending time with the Lawson family! He loves them so very much!!!

Easter Morning Fun!!

Check out what the Easter bunny left Max!!!

I did video of him seeing the basket so I didn't get many great pictures! He ran right in and was telling us what he got....truck, bubbles, etc.

He actually picked up the Elmo eggs and threw them on the ground to get the "bean" (jellybeans) out! Crazy lil boy!

I am pretty sure he LOVED everything in his basket!

He really loved his new trucks!

But I think his favorite thing was the bubble machine!!!

Everything all spread out! I know...i know we went a little overboard...but it was mostly stuff I was going to buy anyways....right.....

We tried out the bubble machine right off....well after breakfast anyways....

Max kept chasing the bubbles around and saying bubbles....

He even made some of his own! This boy loves him some bubbles!!!

It was nice to be home Easter morning to see all the fun....however, I was only home because I was and am still sick. BOO! Head colds along with nausea DO NOT mix!!

Max and Daddy headed to church while I got some well needed rest! I tried to get some church pics but Max was not into them....oh well there is always next year.....

Happy Belated Easter!

Hope Easter Egg Hunt!

Nana and Pa Pa went with us to the Hope Easter Egg Hunt since we don't really do an Easter egg hunt at their house.... We all had a very good time!!!

Max was pretty slow at this....guess he didn't realize that there was candy in these eggs!! LOL

We got to decorate a sugar cookie! Max was into the sprinkles this time. He would eat a few and then feed me some....so sweet!

He really watched the guy make it the entire time!

We attempted to see the Easter bunny....he walked up with Nana and Daddy holding his hands! I was quite surprised because when I asked him at the mall if he wanted to see the Easter bunny he just looked at him and looked back and me and said no mam....no mam!!! LOL!

Now when we tried for a picture he was like NO WAY!!!! I am outta here.....

Lastly, we headed over to the puppet show.....

This was probably Max's favorite thing of the morning!

I mean seriously have you ever seen two 21 month olds be so still...it was so adorable that they both got so into the puppet show...don't worry boys I am sure there will be more puppet shows in the near future...lol!

What a wonderful day it ended up being! Thank you God for such a beautiful day to share with family and friends! We are truly blessed!
