Slightly Obessed!!

Max is officially obessed with the football. He is now sleeping with it!! Too funny. He had a tight grip on it the other day for naptime and cried when I took it away....soo....he slept with it. Such a silly lil boy!

Max is feeling SO much better these days! He has had two doses of Suprax and tonight will be the third dose. He is eatin so much better and sleepin somewhat better. Last night we were up 4 times! The fourth time I went into his room he was guess what....SITTIN UP IN HIS BED!!!! I think he was a little scared! He sat up one time yesterday on his own and now he is doing it more and more! Guess it is time for us to lower the bed to the final stage! SO SAD!

POOR BABY!!!

Man it stinks havin double ear infections...and a cough...and a runny nose..and diarrhea!!!

Well, Max only ate 12 1/2oz yesterday...his eatin has been gettin worse. So when the MD called to check on Max today I let them know he was still coughin, runny nose, diarrhea (from the antibiotic) and not eating well. So they said well bring him on in and lets check him out. I will say I figured they would say well he is already on an antibiotic there really isn't anything else we could do.....but.....actually Dr. Christion said the Amoxcillion isn't working because there is now pus in his ears!!! POOR BABY! I had no idea that his ears were worse! He hasn't even been pullin at them really. So now we are starting a new antibiotic called Suprax. Hopefully this one will knock it out of the park!!! I want my poor baby to be able to eat soon! I also would like for his little cough and runny nose to get better. I know he is tired of it because he screams at me when I suck his nose out now. And the poor thing has just been a little whiny the last few days. Please pray for lil Max to get better really soon! I feel so sorry for him because he just doesn't understand!

Max got a lil crawl action going! He was too funny because he took the stride and then when he tried to take another he fell...then he started crying! He has been doing a lot of cryin these past few days because of his ears. Poor baby! But I was so proud of him for gettin his crawl on!! GO Max GO!!!

Max is pulling up on everything! I can't believe that he is even feeling up to it being sick and all! He is growing up so fast! Sometimes I just want it to all slow down! But of course I know there is lots of fun ahead!!! I am just so proud of my lil baby boy!

Happy 7 months baby boy!

Max is 7 months old today!! He is weighin in at 19lbs. He is 28 3/4 inches! You wouldn't think I have a sick fussy lil boy by these pics I took today!

New things for Max...trying to pull up on stuff, still workin on crawlin and pullin up to sitting position by himself, and he likes to stand up holding on to stuff...but he isn't to steady or balanced yet. He is very busy busy busy already. He doesn't stay doing one thing very long then he either crys to be moved or he rolls on over to what he wants to play with! Too funny! He can start meats today but I didn't start them yet since he hasn't been eating good. I figured I would wait and start the meats when his appetite is back. He loves to eat oatmeal,bananas, apples, squash, and sweet potatoes. I think Max is going to be a very affectionate child! He loves to snuggle and give kisses (and I just adore that about him!)! He is pretty much only saying da da and da de all the time. Every once and a while we will get other babbles but he just likes the way da da sounds...of course his da da does too! HA!

Max ALWAYS loves bathtime!!

Poor lil Max was diagnosed with double ear infections Saturday morning. Max started having a runny nose Thursday morning, wasn't eating too good, and he was a lil fussy. Well, Friday it continued and he added a lil cough and a fever to the runny nose. And of course no one was getting any sleep at night. So Saturday morning we took Max in to the doc office and figured they would just say there is nothing we can do for a cold....but low and behold he had a double ear infection. I couldn't believe it! I felt so bad. He hasn't pulled at his ears or nothin!! I had no idea!!! I just thought it was teething that was makin him act so different latetly!!! He is now on Amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days. When I opened the bag and saw the dreadful pink nasty medicine it seriously brought back painful childhood memories. I actually gagged trying to give it to Max for the first time! But of course my sweet lil baby loved it! He took it like a champ!

So today Max was very fussy and only wanted to be held...but for some reason he was a little ham during bathtime! He was just playin, laughin, splashin and havin a good ole time. Don't know what it is about bathtime but Max loves it! He even pulled up on the tub trying to stand up for the first time! Such a silly lil boy! I was so glad that he enjoyed his bath today especially since my lil boy turned 7 months old!

My new attachment!

Max has become attached to this football rattle! Everytime we play in the basket o toys he gets this out and plays with it forever. He wants to take it with him when he leaves the playroom and today he wanted to take it to bed with him! Such a silly little boy! Don't know what is so special about it but he LOVES it! He will hold onto it so tight you have to really tug to get it away from him! HA! Maybe he will be our lil football player.....

Max and Pizza Crust!

Craig and I ordered pizza friday night and I couldn't believe how interested Max was in it! It was so funny. He kept opening his mouth everytime we put the pizza up to our mouths. SO.......of course mommy had to give him some. I gave him the crust off of one of my pieces. Lets just say he LOVED it! He started crying when we took it away!

Thought I would share a few videos from the past week. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I had a hard weekend at St. Jude...and lets just say....I have been spending every spare moment with my lil Max. I just thank GOD for the time he gives me with my lil boy!! Just want to cherish every minute!!! He is down for a nap so.....I figured I would get everyone updated.

Max is doing pretty good holding his bottle...however he would much rather someone else hold it for him! HA! I am totally okay with that because I am not ready to stop feeding my lil baby!!!

Max is doing pretty good standing on his own these days. Of course I put him that way! He can stand holding on to something for quite some time. He started pulling up on things this week. It is so cute. Grandma Maxwell kept him last Thursday and said he started pulling up on stuff then but I had to wait and see it for myself....you know how crazy first time moms are...ha! Check out that long torso and short little legs!!! TOO CUTE! Don't you just want to eat him!!!

Okay....so I thought I would share this video so you all out there that know how much of a clean freak I am could see that I do let my child get dirty!!! HA! This is some gerber zwieback toast and he chowin down on it! Notice what the bib says....cute but messy just like my daddy! This is so true....although Craig is not really messy anymore! But boy he used to be...that is another story in itself! HA! Back to the video I love watchin how he taste the toast...it is just so cute!!!

Doesn't he look like a big boy! This outfit just makes him look SO big!!! Max is now in 6-12 months shoes. Everything he has on is 6-12 months clothes too! Can't believe how FAST he is growin!! I just want to eat him up...he is just SO ADORABLE!!!! I know I am partial but the lil boy is gonna have girls chasin after him one day!!!

Too funny! They were so cute playin together. I just loved it!!!

I got to watch my niece Laney today and it was so much fun! It was really neat to get to see what it would be like with two babies running around! Let's just say it was tons of FUN but I am not quite ready for two of everything!!! HA!

We started the morning about 7:30am and Laney and I got to hang out for a little bit before Max woke at 8am. He was a late sleeper this morning because he didn't sleep very good last night. So Laney and Max got breakfast, diapers changed, and dressed for the day in record time by 9am we were sittin pretty playin in the playroom. I thought that was pretty good for a newbie. We played for a while then naptime for Max. Laney and I got to spend a little time together before Max woke. Then lunchtime. Got Laney fed....then Max....then Laney down for a nap at 12:30pm. Max down at 1:30pm. So I actually got about 1hr of time to myself! WOW! Who knew you could do that with two kids! HA! Laney's Granny came to get her at 3:30pm and guess what....she was still sleepin! She was worn out...guess we played too hard this mornin....or maybe because she had to get up so early to be at my house. So all in all we had a good day! Max and Laney played together and for the most part I think they had a lot of fun together! They had a few moments of crazyness...but there was no blood so we were all good! HA! Thanks LuLu and Gregg for letting us spend time with your sweet baby girl! Can't wait to do it again!

Got me a puff!!!

Max is eatin puffs! (for those of you who don't know what these are....they are lil dissolvable cookies that are flavored) Max has been eating them for about a week now but I put some on the highchair yesterday and he started picking them up. It was just SO CUTE! Most of the time he picked it up and it was stuck to his hand but he was smackin his mouth like he got it in there...too funny!!!

6 1/2 months!

Can't believe my lil man is 6 1/2 months old! He is weighin in at 19lbs. Such a sweet lil boy! Just can't imagine my life without him! He is really trying to crawl these days. He has taken a couple of one time strides....of course that is after I put him up on all fours. He hasn't quite mastered getting up on all fours by himself. He is working on sitting up by himself. He will put himself into a sitting position if I put him up on all fours and he can go into a semi crawl position from sittin position. He looks like he is swimming when he is on his belly trying to crawl....our friend Charity says he is the next Michael Phelps....ha too funny! I will try and get a good video to put on here.

He is trying to say other words...especially during bottle time. He likes to talk talk talk during bottle time. He hasn't been much of an eater when it comes to bottles these days...not sure if it is teethin or just full from eating more baby food!? I am going to do some experimenting this week...I mean he really isn't getting that much baby food but I am going to cut back a little so he will hopefully take more milk...we shall see....

My deal of the week!!!!

I really wanted to get an Incrediblock from Fisher Price for Max for Christmas...however...they are sold out at Fisher Price and almost impossible to find!!! So I started looking on ebay and watching them for a few days. I actually bid on one and was up to $92 dollars and gave up! (It wasn't just the

Incrediblock it was a lot of other toys too...don't want you to think I am nuts! HA! ) Anyways, the Incrediblock was $50 bucks at Fisher Price and it is going for $60-70 on ebay "used" because Fisher Price stopped makin it! So....I just figured he wouldn't get one.....but low and behold I was at a store here in Memphis that sells gently used baby items and there it was....an INCREDIBLOCK for $17 dollars!!! Can you believe it!!! I couldn't! I was so excited! It is in great condition and has all the original blocks! WAHOO! Max just loves it of course!!! But I might just like it more....ha ha!

6 month photos!

We went to Portrait Innovations again. Craig took a half day and we went on Dec. 19th. We got some family pics but I wasn't that excited about any of them. They are a really good photo place for kids...but not adults...ha! Anyways, enjoy...these are a few of my favorites along with the santa suit one that I already posted!
