The Duck Pond and 15 month check up!

We headed to the Duck Pond Monday morning with our dear friends Charity and Hannah! It was such nice weather we could not resist the urge to be outside!

Max and Hannah in their cars that they LOVE LOVE LOVE! They enjoyed watching the ducks! They were making lots of quacking noises! So cute!

Max got a little bored so he decided to see what Hannah had to play with in her trunk of her car!

He was successful in finding Charity's keys to play with!

Not sure what was going on here....just thought it was a funny picture of the two of them!

Love this picture with the kiddos looking at the ducks!

Well, we started our morning off with the duck pond! Then off to Dr. Christian for our 15 month check up! Max weighed in at 23lbs 12oz which falls right under the 50th percentile! He was 32 1/2 inches which falls in 90th percentile! I can't believe how much he has grown since his 12 month checkup! Dr. Christian said he was right on track with all his milestones and actually was ahead with talking! Wahoo! Go Max Go! We ended the appointment with 2 shots! He did really good! He actually didn't cry too much but he didn't want anything to do with the nurse that gave him the shots! He tucked his head into me and would not look at her! Too funny!
After the MD appointment Max and I went to lunch together at El Mezcal. He was VERY good! This was the first time that just him and me have gone to eat somewhere! It was really fun! After lunch Max and I got a nap (seeing as how I had been up since 3pm Sun). After naps we played outside with our good buddies Hannah and Cooper waiting for daddy to get home. We finished the day up with Chilis take out to support St. Jude!

Max is 15 months!!!

My sweet lil Max is 15 months!!!

It is SO HARD these days to get a good picture of him! He is just way too BUSY!

Craig got Max laughing pretty good in these pictures! That is the only reason he is actually sitting in the chair!
Craig was acting crazy behind me so that I could try and get ONE good picture!

I will post 15 month true height and weight on Mon 9/28 because Max has his 15 month checkup with Dr. Christian!

He is wearing 12 month clothes mostly and some 12-18 and 18 month shirts. I think it will be a while before he can fit 18 month shorts/pants! He has a tiny little waist and no butt! LOL!

He wears size 4 diapers still! I think he will be in them for quite some time!

Wearing a 5 1/2 shoe!
Has 4 top teeth and 2 top molars! Has 4 bottom teeth and 2 bottom molars! So has a total of 12 teeth right now!
Sleep schedule:
Wakes around 8-8:30, naptime around 1pm to 3pm (sometimes a little longer), bedtime around 8:30-9.
Favorite foods:
Bananas I think are his ALL time favorite right now! Corn on the corn comes in a quick second! He also loves turkey hot dogs, spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, tater tots, cereal, goldfish, cheese, any kind of fruit, fruit snacks, and waffles!
New things:
He is really doing well with using a spoon and fork. We just started trying these over the past month but he is doing better over the last week.
With the new farm set I got him you can tell him to bring you the horse and cow and he will pick them out and bring them to you!
Still VERY obsessed with his b "blankie" and his pacifier!
He pushes his trucks or cars around and makes car noises. He is starting to use his little imagination!
He is shaking his head yes and no.
He is starting to listen to us when we tell him to not do something.
He is throwing tantrums and having lots of attitude these days too! UGH! Hope to nip that in the bud!
He trys putting the keys in the doors to open them.
He can reach on his tiptoes and get things off the counter.
He squirts the water out of the refriderator door and plays in it if we don't have the thing locked!
He opens the dishwasher and gets on the door and plays! We now keep it locked up at all times!
Really giving kisses away to others than just mommy and daddy. Like for instance he will take his pacy out and lay a big wet one on his girl friend Hannah! Too cute! Well for now it is anyways! LOL!
He loves to read to you.
New words:
Football (sounds like buttball) it is quite hilarious to hear him say it, he is really trying to say names he can say Hannah and Cooper (sounds like ooper) these are his two bestest friends and neighbors, he says baby, he says bubble, truck, hat
Favorite toys:
Outside push car, phones, cords, bottles, any thing that isn't a toy, farm set, keys, stacking toys, books, blocks, and trucks/cars
He is just really a lot of FUN these days! He seems to learn something new everyday! I am sure there is so much more to post that he has done new in the past month! I don't think I can remember it all! I thank God daily for my sweet little boy!

Pudding Paint and Bubble Baths!

We got Hannah and Max together this past Friday to do some pudding painting! It was LOTS of FUN!

This is how it started out! We gave each kid a small of pudding and a spoon.....

Once we gave them the paint brushes Max wanted to share with Mrs. Charity!

Max got messy pretty quick!

Hannah enjoyed eating the pudding!

A little painting time!

Hannah painting herself! So cute!

Big Bites!

We pulled out the big bowl of pudding and let them play with it! Max put his hand right into the bowl! Messy! Messy!

Hannah went in with a spoon! Such a lady!!!
\

What a face!

Mixing up his pudding!
Yummy! Yummy!

After pudding paint is was off to a BUBBLE BATH! The kids were quite the mess! We had to rinse them off before we could actually give them a bath because they had so much pudding on them! Lol!

Such a cute pic of the two kiddos!
They played independently for the most part...we guess because they both love the bath so much! They really didn't care that they were in the bath together!

We sure do LOVE our FUN times with Hannah!!!
