On Sunday Oct. 21st after church we headed out to Cedar Hill Farms with Nana and Pawpaw!! We ended up having a picnic lunch in the car on the way!! So fun!!
Kids were so excited to get there!!
My little pumpkins!!
Posing for a pic!! Max wanted to be the bunny and Emery wanted to be the bird! So cute!!
First up was feeding the animals!!
Emery wasn't so sure about it. We tried to help her some.
Max was all about it! He LOVED it and wasn't scared at all!!
Emery's face...I don't wanna feed the animals....
We headed to the pig races next. Emery and Max were pumped about this!! Emery kept asking "Piggies, are you?" It was so cute! Then they came racing out!! Kids were jumping up and down and yelling for the white pig!! (that was our groups color) We actually won the first race!! So fun!!
We were going to ride the train but there was a massive line so we opted out. We went back to finish off our animal food we had. Kids spotted a kitty cat! That may have been there fave animal. Both of them have such a love for kitties. Not sure where they get that from. So wish I wasn't allergic because I would buy them one in a heartbeat!
Watching the singing chickens!! Both Max and Em got a kick out of it!!
How tall are we!! Emery is catching up to Max!!
A new thing this year!! A really HUGE slide!! I should have taken a picture of the entire length. The kids had a BLAST going down it!!
Emery's face was hilarious coming down!!
"Ewww Mommy that was bun!!!"
Anywhere there is a swing this girl will find it!! She LOVES to swing!! She is always so giggly when she does!! I love it!!
It was a little warm out so we stopped for some Italian Ice to cool us off!! Yum Yum!!
Hayride to the pumpkin patch!!
Me any my sweet girl!! Max wanted to stay over with his Nana and Pawpaw!! Thats okay they need some loving too ;)
The pumpkin patch wasn't much of a pumpkin patch. It was more of a lot of land of dirt. :( We found NO big pumpkins. Not sure what was up with that. You can see one in the pic above but it was actually busted on one side. BOO!
Kids had fun none the less. They found all kinds of cute little ones...green ones....green and orange ones....rotten ones...
Posing for our pumpkin patch pic....LOL I think I got better ones in front of my fireplace ;)
On our way back to the farm. Nana and Pawpaw!! LOVE LOVE this sweet pic! They are hard to get to pose for pictures!!
When we got back we looked around to see if there were any big pumpkins....none really for carving! But Emery found a little something....the PUMPKIN PRINCESS!!!
Emery was memorized by her!! She just kept pointing to her and saying "Look Mommy, a pincess"! I can't tell you how bad I wanted to snatch her up and run as fast as I could to Disney!! I so cannot wait to share those magical moments with her next year!!
Emery and her "pincess"!
Max even thought she was pretty neat! He kept showing her his pumpkin he found. Then he would go get another one to show her....thinking he thought she was pretty ;)
A little tractor fun!! This old tractor is sitting by the exit. Kids had fun playing on it and pretending!!
Then as we were walking out it dawned on me...we didn't get a family photo. So why not try real quick...LOL Who does that after spending all morning at church and all afternoon at a pumpkin patch!! LOL Well honestly the first pic isn't horrible!!
All in all it was a WONDERFUL fun day spent together as a family! Thanks Nana and Pawpaw for going with us!! We enjoyed our day together with you!! So sad I had to go back to work or we could have enjoyed more fun that night. Oh well...gotta pay for fun things right?!
