Emery is 10 months!!

Uh oh!! Our Little Princess is 10 months!!!

She is weighing in at about 19lbs. Not sure on the length.

Wearing some 6-9month stuff but really mostly 9-12month.

Still a size 2 shoe and size 3 diaper.

Still such a HAPPY girl!! Emery is starting to really show some of her dramatic side....lots of different faces and has some serious attitude starting! When she wants something...lets just say she lets EVERYONE know that she wants it!! She is also starting to cry or scream sometimes even before Max touches her! I find that quite funny that she has already figured out how to snitch on her brother!
She is clapping, waving hi and bye bye, pulling up on a lot of things lately, and saying nana, bubba, da da, mmmm, uh oh, eh (for hey), and other things that we aren't sure what exactly she is saying...

She is into EVERYTHING these days. She LOVES to pull open draws and pull everything out. If she sees anything open she takes off crawling too it so she can investigate and see what is all in there! She gets MAD if you try and close the drawer/closet or try and keep her out of it. She loves to make a mess and she is def like a little tornado wherever she goes!

She is not to found of her bows! They are pulled off within a matter of minutes! Boo! I am hoping that she gets better about that soon because she just looks so cute in them!

Emery loves to be outside and LOVES to be in the pool or any kind of water! I just wish it wasn't so HOT already!!!

Still LOVES to eat but starting to show more interest in some foods and less in others! I am thinking her favorites right now are strawberries, chicken, corn on the cob, cereal, waffles, french fries and really anything sweet! The only thing I have found she just won't eat is green beans, she was actually gagging on them this past week!

We are doing ALL formula now! My milk pretty much dried up :( So she got her last breast milk bottle on Monday(her actual 10month birthday)! And that was the last time I pumped! Kind of bittersweet. I will say formula is much much easier!! However, she doesn't take it too great. She is taking like 4-5oz in the morning when she wakes. Then her middle two bottles during the day anywhere from 1 to 4oz and her night time bottle seems to be the best. She usually takes a full 6oz. So she basically gets about 12-16oz of formula a day. I am trying to offer her some here and there in a sippy cup too! She is doing really really good with a sippy cup! I really think I could give her all her formula in them and she would be just as happy. But I am not ready to get rid of all the bottles just yet :(

Some of her favorite things...her little blankie, baby einstein videos, musical toys, her mommy, daddy and bubba! She loves to be held and snuggled!

She is chewing on everything these days. It seems there is always a toy or her fingers in her mouth. I am thinking there must be more teeth about to come in. She has 4 in. Her bottom two and the top two on either side of the the front teeth. I must say she looks a little silly when she smiles big but she is still so STINKING CUTE!!!

Sleeping has changed a little lately. Ever since we changed her to the room next to Max she is waking a little later some days but for the most part still between 6-7am. She is wanting to drop her morning nap some days which is making things a little hard because she will go down at like 11am and sleep till 1am and that is all she wants to sleep. Then by the afternoon she is fussy but won't take a nap! Ugh...such a guessing game somedays with her naps!

Getting LOTS of hair!! And when she is hot it gets super curly! I am thinking she is just going to have a little natural curl going on like me. I think it is so cute!!

We are just loving these days with her! It seems like everyday she is doing something new and it is so fun to see how she develops! I love that we are starting to really see her little personality too! I think I am speaking for all when I say this...I just can't imagine my life before her!! I just love her so so much!!

Incredible Pizza

This past Monday Craig was off from work which was SO NICE!! I got to come home from work and actually get a good nap for once! After Emery and my nap we got up and headed to Incredible Pizza to celebrate Max's birthday one more day! Really we did this since I didn't get to celebrate much with him on his actual birthday on Sunday.

It was super fun as usual! I love this picture of Craig because he is going through the motions like he is batting too!! Too funny!

And we tried out the goofy golf for the first time!

It was all dark and had black lights everywhere so it was actually pretty neat! I don't think I have ever really payed attention that it was inside of this place!

We ended up playing/eating for a little over 2 hrs!! Then we came home and played with the puzzle Max picked out with his tickets!

Then we all got another nap!! What a great day hanging together as a family!! I just love making all these sweet memories together!

Max's Actual Birthday!

Somehow I found the energy Sunday morning to come home after working all night and do BIRTHDAY breakfast with our little 3 year old!!!! Such a sweet day!!

I stopped by Howards on my way home to get Max some of his "baby doughnuts"!!
Then I came home and grabbed the fam to head over to my Mom's house so we could celebrate with my Mom, Dad, Brother, and Darren! I got to crawl in the bed with him and sing Happy Birthday to him. It was such a sweet and special moment! I just love that he loves for me to snuggle up with him!! I wish I could just bottle that up for the future :)

We just had to stick a candle in the "baby doughnut" so we could all sing to Max on his actual birthday! He LOVED it!!

They ended up going to church shortly after and then going to the Lawson's house to spend the afternoon so I could sleep! Once I woke up they headed back to the house and we gave Max some other little gifts we had gotten for him!

He was quite excited to finally get his CHUCKIE CHEESE Wii Game!!!

He immediately started playing!!

"Look Mommy, I got free (3) tickets!!" It really is a cute little game and pretty easy for him to do on his own. His first game to play was BASKETBALL of course....then skee ball...then hit the monsters.

Here are the few things we got him. Books are still one of his favorite things and especially if they are books about sports!!

It was so wonderful to get to spend the morning and a few hours late afternoon with him on his birthday! I hope that next year I will have the time to take off and be with him the whole day! I mean birthdays only come once a year and they are truly such a special day! I always want my kids to feel super special during their birthday! Max has really gotten into his birthday this year which has been so fun to see! He kept running around calling himself the "birthday boy" and telling people" it's my birthday! and I am free!!" Man, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE that sweet lil boy of mine!!

Max's Birthday Party!

We celebrated Max's Birthday Party today! It was a HOT one to have it outside but at least they were playing in the water most of the time. I had most of the decoration out before Max got up that morning...he came out of his room in awe! He was so cute!! He kept saying "This is all for ME!" and "Thank you Mommy, I LOVE it, It's BEAUTIFUL!" Such a sweet little boy!

Here are his cupcakes I made! I think they turned out pretty stinking cute! A huge THANKS to my dear friend Amy for loaning me her icing tips! And of course a big thanks to the Internet for the cute idea :) I didn't get around to making a banner this year but the Dollar Tree came through for me with this Sports banner that matched the plates and napkins Max picked out from there!! Wahoo!! Can't beat that right!
Here is the little snack table. I only had a few things as we had the party from 10a to 12p and it was HOT HOT HOT!
Max trying out the slide before his guest arrived.... If you look close I had a bucket of basketballs so every kid could take one home as a party favor!! Max LOVED that idea!! Actually, I think he loved the idea that we bought all those balls and threw them into the car one by one!! HA!

And the first time we tried water on it...so GLAD it worked!!!

Max was SUPER excited all morning! He couldn't wait for all his friend to arrive. He kept saying "It's MY Birthday!" and "It's gonna be a FUN day!"

It didn't take the boys long to get a water fight going!!

Max was super bashful during the Birthday song! He kept covering his mouth and smiling. He couldn't believe that everyone was singing to HIM! Such a special moment to watch his face while everyone sang to him!!

And it didn't take everyone long to get back in the water after cupcakes!! Did I mention that it was HOT today!! LOL

The kids had a BLAST on the waterslide! I am so happy we got one!! I am sure there will be many more memories made on this little slide!

TIME FOR PRESENTS!!!! Yea! Max was so excited!

He was genuinely excited with each gift and had a sweet comment to say about all of his gifts. Here he is opening his gift from his little buddy Noah! Noah was just so excited to give it to him. When Max opened it he said "Oh, I LOVE it!!" Little Noah's face just lite up and he said I gave that to you Max!"

After presents some headed back to the water slide but we quickly rounded them all back up for the some PINATA action!!

We started out with the plastic bat...you know just in case....

Well, it wasn't working that great....So after everyone had a turn....

We moved up to the metal bat and made sure EVERYONE stayed clear! Ha!!

It really didn't take the boys too long to bust that bad boy open!

And the candy was flying EVERYWHERE!! So the kids piled in to grab some :)

Max's 3rd Birthday was a success!! We all had such a great time sharing his Birthday Party with family and friends! A big THANKS to all that came!! And for those few that couldn't we missed you guys!! Check out Max's goodies below!! He racked up with some serious FUN presents!!

It didn't take long to pull out his "green thing" from Mommy, Daddy, and Emery! I am sure this little silly golf toy will be hours of FUN to any day!!

His castle from Uncle Michael and Darren was a HIT!

Nana and Papaw were so gracious to go and get us some ChickfilA for lunch! It was so YUMMY!!

After lunch Max, Uncle Michael, and Nana tried out Max's new Uno game! They were having a good ole time!

We tried to get a decent family pic...but this was the best we could do...I mean it was naptime!!

After Nana, Pawpaw, Uncle Michael, and Darren left we had to try out all the other toys too!

Especially the TEE!! A BIG THANKS to Nana and Pawpaw for this present!

Max was a little natural! He was playing like he already knew what to do!!

Oh!! What a blessing to be able to share Max's Birthday with such wonderful friends and family! Thanks again to all that could come and to all that were there in spirit! We truly had such a GREAT day! Max was just so HAPPY the entire day! He just kept saying "It's MY Birthday!" and "I love EVERYTHING Mommy!" and "Thank you sooo much!"

I think it is safe to say he had an AWESOME 3rd Birthday!!!!!
