18 weeks old!

Our little man is 18 weeks old today! He has had a pretty good day after shots. He had some low grade fever but nothing like last time!! YEAH! He hasn't eaten as good but that is to be expected. I am sure he will be back to himself by tomorrow! Such a sweet little thing! I just can't even begin to express how much I love him!!! He went to the Merry Marketplace with me tonight and he was such a good little boy! I am just amazed at him sometimes! I mean especially all he has to put up with his momma! HA!

4 month checkup!

So cute! I just want to eat him up!!!

Baby Max had his 4 month checkup today! He was 16lbs 3oz and 27inches long!!! He is 75 percentile on his weight and 95 percentile on his height! Dr. Christion said he looked great! He is hitting all his developmental milestones early and she said she wouldn't be surprised if he is crawlin by 6 months! I don't know if I am ready for that!! HA! We got the go ahead to start cereal. She wants me to take it slow with him though. Cereal for 2 weeks and if he has the hang of eating off the spoon then I can introduce veggies one every 4-5 days...then onto the fruits! I can't wait to see how he likes everything. Max got 2 shots and rotavirus liquid stuff. He did really good this time around. He only cried for a second and then he passed out for about 2 1/2 hrs! This pic was taken during that time! He has had a little fever but nothing Tylenol can't take care of! I am very surprised how happy he has been today! Much different then the 2 month shots!!! Please be prayin that our little man has a good night and a good day tomorrow. Last time his 2nd day was pretty rough!

Pumpkin Patch!!!

Went to the pumpkin patch today with our friends Amy and Cooper and Charity and Hannah! We had a good time! We didn't do much since it was chilly and the babies are so little! We did get a few good pics and of course I bought Max his first little pumpkin!

Just thought this was the cutest thing EVER! Lately Max has been playing with his feet when I put him on the changing table! I had to capture it for all to see! So sweet! I just can't believe how flexible little babies are! They just amaze me! Guess he will be suckin on those sweet little toes before long! HA!

4 months!

Max was 4 months old on Sunday October 26th! I can not believe how much he has changed in the past 4 months! The first pic he is 12 days old and the second pic was taken Sun exactly 4 months! He is such a special little gift from God! I am just so thankful for such a sweet and loving little boy! He defnitley adds so much joy and happiness to our little family! GOD IS GOOD!

17 weeks!!

Just chillin!

Baby Max is 17 weeks old today! He is weighin in at a little over 16lbs and he is measuring 26 1/2 inchs long!!! I couldn't believe how long he is!! He definitely didn't get his height from his momma! HA! He spent the morning with Grandmother Lawson while I worked at St Jude!Thanks Grandmother Lawson for keeping me! After I picked him up he passed out on the way home so I think he had a lot of fun!!! We spent the afternoon with the girls (aka charity, amy, hannah, and cooper) we watched a movie and just hung out while the babies took naps. It was a good time to just stay indoors since it rained ALL day! Then daddy got home so I could go have a night with Kim and Michelle. We went out to dinner at Abuelos and it was YUMMY! Got home in time to spend a little time with sweet lil Max and then lights out! He does so good going to bed at night...just hope when 3am rolls around he will stay asleep...unlike the last 4 nights!!!

Week at a glance!

WEDNESDAY 10/22: Went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast today with the girls! It was delicious! I was exhausted though....Max woke up quite a bit last night. He ended up sleeping on the couch with me because he would not stop screamin!! Such a silly little boy! I think he just wanted his momma (at least I can dream right! ha!) Max wore his little t-shirt that Aunt Cher and Uncle Chuck gave him! He looks like such a big boy standing on the futon wearing his little t-shirt and jeans! Max can stand propped up for quite a while now! It is so cute! I just can't get over how big he looks! It kinda of makes me sad! Somedays I think I just want him to stay small so I will be able to hold him forever! But I know watching him grow up will be such a blessing!

TUESDAY 10/21: Went walkin this mornin with the girls and then we went to Kohls, BabiesRus, and Target! Max wore his cute little Halloween outfit and pumpkin socks! He looked adorable! Our new thing for today was he swung in his toddler swing in the back yard! He looked like such a big boy! Thanks to our neighbors and friends Oscar for the swing set and the Damerons for the toddler swing! I think Max will enjoy this swing set for many years to come! Max woke up screaming last night because he was FREEZIN! The temperatures are getting low at night and he ended up in mommy and daddy's bed because when I went into his room he had goosebumps he was so cold! POOR BABY!

Monday 10/20: Max and I had a rough day! Max only took an hour nap in the morning so that is all I got most of the day. So needless to say I WAS TIRED after staying up and working all night! Our friends Charity, Hannah, Amy, and Cooper came over and hung out for a while which was tons of fun!! Basically not too much going on today since I was a walking zombie! Oh almost forgot today Max was trying how to pick up his pacifier! I got a few pics of him starin down his pacy just trying so hard to figure out how to pick it up!

SUNDAY 10/19: Max sat up for the first time with daddy! Craig was over at his parents house and Max sat up in the bouncy seat. Craig said he just kept at it and then he sat up and fell over! I was so sad I missed it but at the same time I was excited that Craig got to see something for the first time first!! I did get to see him attempt to sit up in his bouncy seat at home...check out the video! He is growing up TOO fast!!

Visitors!

Well, baby Max had some visitors this past Saturday! Grandma and Grandpa Pigg and his Great Aunt MaeRene and Uncle Bubba drove up from MS to visit for a while! We ate some good ole Corkys Barbeque and just hung out! Baby Max had so much fun! He was worn out when they left. He didn't take a nap the whole time they were here! Guess he didn't want to miss out on anything! HA! They brought all kind of goodies for baby Max! We thank you for the clothes, albums, and toys! They will all be greatly used over the next few months! It was such a joy to have you all come and visit!

My new toys!!

Okay so I know I spoil my child but what can I say "HE IS ONLY LITTE ONCE" Right??? HA!
We went to Babies R Us with our friends Charity and Hannah and Charity found this mirror toy! I handed it to Max and he fell in love with it. He was talking and laughing and holding onto the box while we shopped around. I just had to get it for him! I mean he would have thrown a fit it I didn't get it....right?! HA! Well , I also got him a tray for his little green seat and he seems to love it too! Just can't stop buying for this little guy!! It is just so much fun!

Tryin out a Sippy Cup!

Ok so a few days ago we tried out the sippy cup with Max. I put just a little water in it! He loved it!!! He screamed when we took it away. I don't think he is quite ready seeing as how we have to hold the cup for him...but I just wanted to start introducing the idea to him! Doesn't he look like a big boy!!! (By the way the cup had 3months and up on the package so don't want you to think I am crazy mom)

16 weeks old!

Baby Max is 16 weeks old today! What a blessing these 16 weeks have been. I can't imagine my life before baby Max. He is just such a wonderful gift from God. He is just such a joy to be with each day! Going back to work has made me really appreciate that God has given me a healthy little boy to raise! Max is weighing in at 16lbs today! My what a big boy he is getting to be!!! We had pictures made yesterday at Portrait Innovations. We had so much fun I must say! They did such a good job! I walked away with lots of pictures and a CD of all 60 pictures from the session! I think Max had fun too! He was laughing and having a good old time until the end. At the end we took some pictures in his halloween costume which I will display closer to halloween...lets just say we didn't get too many happy ones in his costume. We got a few crying shots that were too sweet. I mean the boy even looks cute when he is crying!!! Out of the 60 shots there was only like 2 that I didn't really care for! I couldn't believe how many good pictures we got!

Well, baby Max is going through a fussy stage right now. It is really hard for me because I don't know what to do to make him happy and he has never had a fussy stage!!! I guess I have spoiled him a bit with all the attention I give him being that I am home with him everyday! Oh well they are only little once. RIGHT?! Ha. Well, just pray that we will get through this stage very soon because I just don't like having my little boy all worked up in tears!! It just breaks my heart and it makes me feel like I am doing something wrong.

Good news...baby Max is sleeping through the night pretty well....he gets up between 5-6 to take his first bottle of the day and then goes back down until about 8 -830. But at least that is better than waking up at 2 or 3!!! He took his first 6oz bottle today! I couldn't believe it. I thought we would never get past the 3-4oz mark..but he did 5oz every 4hrs for almost 2wks and now I think we will move on up to 6oz so he may drop another bottle soon! He is just growing so fast!!! I was going to start cereal this week but decided to wait until after his 4 month check up. I don't want to rush things and I wanted to talk to the pediatrican about food allergies.

Well, I hear little man waking up..so off to feed him!

Talking in the Mirror!

Since Max is rolling over on his belly all the time now he has found his mirror on his playmat! I came in the room yesterday and he was talking away to himself in the mirror! It was so adorable I had to capture it on film!

Back to Belly!!!

Baby Max started rolling from his back to belly (left side only) on Friday October 10th. Now every time I lay him down he is rollin to his belly!! Such a big boy! He has woken me up several times a night crying because he has rolled over on his belly! So silly. For some reason the boy doesn't like to sleep on his belly!!! I guess he didn't get that from his momma!

15 weeks old!

Well, baby Max is 15 weeks old today! He is weighing in at 15 1/2lbs and I know he is 25 1/2 inches or more! I haven't actually measured but I know he has gotten longer because I had to move the rainforest jumper up a notch so that he could bounce better!

New things this week are he is rolling from back to stomach at least a couple of times a day (only towards the left though). He just started grabbing at the toys on his rainforest jumper! I couldn't believe it! I almost started crying because there is a monkey on the rainforest jumper that he has been staring at for weeks and finally today he grabbed it! I know he was so excited to finally figure out how to touch it! He started taking his pacifier out of his mouth and holding it. He hasn't figured out how to put it back in his mouth though. I think he is actually starting to like his thumb better than his pacifier! I got him a vibrating teething toy and he loves it! He just laughs and giggles as it vibrates his gums! He is trying to sit up! He loves to be sitting up now more than lying down so he can see everything! He is still a sweet snuggly bug! I just love that about him! He is still sitting in your lap and talking and talking to you! He is still losin his hair! So sad!!!
And lastly.....

Big news! Big news! DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!! Baby Max is sleeping through the night!!! He is still waking at least once for me to put his pacifier back in but I don't count that! HA! He usually takes a bottle at 8 then goes down between 8 and 9. He then sleeps till at least 6 but this morning it was almost 7! He has pretty much done this for 3 days now so I am hoping it will stick! He is just getting so big so fast! He is now taking 5oz bottles 5 times a day! I think I am going to start him on cereal next week. He seems to be ready...he loves to stare and watch mommy and daddy eat!

We want to wish Grandpa Maxwell a HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY TODAY! He is in Las Vegas celebrating his 60th birthday with Grandma Maxwell!!! The trip was a surprise and he found out the night before they left! Grandma Maxwell pulled a fast one on him! He was definitely excited!

Here are some pictures of Cooper, Hannah and Max! Cooper's mommy Amy and Hannah's mommy Charity and I walk every morning! We also get the kids together for play time! I know they aren't exactly playing together just yet but they enjoy playing with each others toys because it is new stuff to look at! The mommies also enjoy being able to get together!! The funny thing is we all live on the same street and just met a few weeks ago! I feel like I have known these girls forever! We just have so much fun together and I know as our little babies grow they will have so much fun together too! I thank God everyday for placing these girls in my life! It is such a blessing to be able to go through all the new mommy stuff with other Godly women!
