Yay for Christmas!!! We got all the decorations out tonight!! The kids had school today and I had a dentist appointment to take up half of the day and the other half I got the house cleaned up and ready to decorate!! So once Craig got home we ate dinner (yummy chicken n dumplings that had been cooking in the crock pot all day) and got started!
The kids were pumped about decorating! Especially Max, I swear he acted like he was on a sugar high! So much fun! We had the Christmas music going and were dancing around and having a blast getting all the decorations out of their boxes!
Max was all about finding the Santa ornaments and any sports ones too!
He really wanted to know where something was here...I so can't remember what it was! Sorry...mommy brain! Just thought the pic was too cute not to post! (If I would post right away I might remember a little more about the night!)
Emery loved all the animals that played music! She would push the buttons and dance to the music. So cute!
Max said he was surfing on the this tote! I am not kidding when I tell you he was the MOST HYPER kid I have EVER seen!!!

Putting the tree skirt on. I never realized until tonight that Max didn't know how to do a button...soo..we worked on that for a minute. Max had a little trouble with it but got the hang of it. Little Miss Emery stood there and was listening and watching everything.
Emery crawled into an empty tote with her hockey stick in hand and I pulled her around the room in it! She LOVED it!!
The tree is up and time for the ornaments!! Took us a little while to get all the ornaments out of their boxes hence why Emery was being pulled around in an empty tote! LOL
Max loved helping put the ornaments on tree this year. However, he was just a little too excited running and putting them on the tree that he broke three different ones in the process.
He was so tore up about it too because one of the ones he broke was his basketball ornament! No worries, all of the ornaments were quickly fixed with a little super glue!
Max still got to help put the ornaments on...Craig and I just helped him a little! 
Emery wanted to help too so we let her put a few on the tree.
This is her "first" Christmas ornament she got last year!
She put it on and then we clapped for her because she did it! She was so proud of herself!!
Max wanted to put some ornaments up high so Daddy came to the rescue!!
Our tree is not the most beautiful tree out there but it is full of MEMORIES!! I have ornaments that I got each year growing up and ones that Max and Emery are getting each year from us, grandmother and granddaddy, and nana and pawpaw and ones that we have gotten when we travel. So basically the tree is full of ornaments that are special to us in some way. I love that about our tree and it will continue to be that kind of tree. So much fun to pull them out and talk about the really "special" ones! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year!! So excited to have the Christmas decorations out and to enjoy the entire month of December looking at them!
Okay...back to the ornaments I just have to share them all (except one because one person couldn't be at the exchange, I will add hers later) I am going to just post the title of the devotionals in no particular order so that I am not copy writing anything...
