Children's Museum with Tracy and her girls!!

My friend Tracy was so sweet to ask the kids and I to go to the Children's Museum this past Tuesday! We had a GREAT time!!

Started out over in the fed ex airplane!! Emery go hooked on the BIG slide and wanted to do it over and over again!! Max loved putting all the packages on the little conveyor belt and watching them go up and come down the mini slide!!

Then off to have a little WATER FUN!!!

And I think we all know Emery had a GREAT time as she didn't make it home before falling asleep!!

I forgot my camera but my iphone did a good job of capturing all the fun things we did at the museum!! Sadly I the was Emery's first time and Max's second time at the museum. We took Max for the first time on his first birthday! Thanks again Tracy for a wonderful day!! Hopefully we can do it again soon!!

Past week...

Lets see....where to begin..

Last Saturday it was rainy and yucky out so we decided to go BOWLING!! We have definitely been getting some use out of the Kids Bowl FREE thing this summer!!

We had a great laid back day!! And check those scores out below...Max BEAT us!! LOL 

Well actually I was holding Emery and bowling each time and Craig was throwing randomness to let Max win!! But still MAX WINS!!!

Went to work Sat and Sun night...so...Sunday the kids went to church and Craig's parents house. Then Monday my friend Jennifer kept Max and Emery for me so I could sleep. 

While I wanted to send the kids over I decided to stay awake by playing with Emery's hair!! LOOK HOW BIG SHE LOOKS WITH HER LIL PONY!! So sad and so cute!! Seriously though...

Anyways...the kids had a great time over at Mrs. Jennifer's house with her and her three kiddos!! They came back home EXHAUSTED!! Emery and Max had naptime and then it was time to get our play on!! Emery woke up from nap asking for a blue bow!! So cute!! This is her new thing! She WANTS a bow but only for like 5 minutes and then she brings it to me and says "All done! No bow!" 

On Tuesday we met up with my friend Tracy and her 4 girls at the Children's Museum. We had a great time. Check it out in the next blog post....

On Wednesday we ran errands and took back a few things that Max got for his birthday and exchanged them for these 3 fun things!! A game, a puzzle, and a JAKE PIRATE CHEST!!!

Max and Emery had a BLAST dressing up like Jake and playing pirate!! I would have to say that probably both of their favorite show right now is Jake and the Neverland Pirates!! 

We played lots and lots of Jake this day!! Max was Jake, Emery was Captain hook, and I was Izzy....FUN TIMES!!

Wednesday nights we go to church and I didn't feel like cooking so off to meet Daddy at ChickfilA before church!! Max wanted to go dressed up to show Daddy his new toy!! He was saying "Argh!!!"

Emery's ADORES her bubba!! This pic was taken after baths Wed night!! She loves running up and giving him hugs. Max is finally letting her and hugging back!! Sweetness!! 

On Thursday we went swimming at my moms pool!! Our friends Candice and her 4 (Eli, Ella Kate, Maggie, and Noah) and Stephanie and her 4 (Sierra, Shasta, Sequoia, and Kai) all came to PLAY!!

We ordered some pizza and had strawberries and watermelon!! YUMMY!! I brought our little pool for Kai, Maggie, and Emery to play in but all the kids played in it at some point!! 

We had a great time with our friends!! Candice and I told the kids if they got out of the (big) pool that they could have a Popsicle while they dried off...this is where they headed!! LOL Made for some cute pictures!!

On Friday we took it easy and hung around the house until we met Nana for lunch at Chili's!!! 

Well the kids took it easy...I cleaned the house and did laundry ;)

Then the kids and I ran a few errands after lunch....

Crazy girl at Walmart!!! They got balloons and she was trying to pop it!! Friday night we headed over to my sister-n-law Nicole's house to have a birthday celebration for Grandmother...aka my mother-n-law!! We had a lot of fun watching all the cousins run around and play together!!

Then Saturday we woke up and Max helped me make blueberry muffins!! We ate a yummy breakfast and headed over to my moms to swim for a while!! Afterwards we grabbed some lunch and then headed to bowl before naptime!!

When we got there the lights were out and the lady told us it was COSMIC bowling from 1pm-5pm!! So FUN!! None of use have ever Cosmic bowled so it was a new experience for us...yes...sometimes...it is just the little things...LOL

Anyways...Emery did a little bowling for the FIRST time!! She was all about pushing that ball down the lane!!

Craig didn't hold back this game!! He surprised Max and me both that he can bowl!! Seriously where did all those strikes come from...and a score of 170!!!

We had a GREAT fun filled packed Saturday together as a family!! Too bad I had to end it with going to work :( Boo!!

VBS at Faith Baptist

Up..Up...and AWAY we go....into the Great BEYOND...

The kids and I had a BLAST at our SKY VBS this past week (July 16-20)!!

This was my first time volunteering! I was a crew leader for Kindergarten/1st grade group so Max and Emery got to go to the pre-K VBS!!

First DAY!!! The kids were pumped!!

Each morning we started off in the sanctuary singing songs, praying, and learning our new character and bible verse of the day!

Then we rotated to stations!! Our first station was GAMES!!!

Then Imagination Station where we did all kinds of fun science experiments!!

Then onto Chatter...which was a movie and singing!! Then we had Bible and Snack!! It was from 9-12 each day!! 

Let's just say day 1 was too much fun for Emery!! LOL

Day Two...Imagination Station was these fizzy pop things!! They were so COOL!! All the kids LOVED them!!

During Bible we talked about Lazarus!! Our sweet neighbor friend Jacob volunteered and was Lazarus!! 

During snack each day the crew leaders get to take a little break...I went and peeked on the little ones...found Emery sitting with her crew taking pictures!! So cute!!

At the end of the morning we met back in the sanctuary. We watched a slide show of pictures of the day and sang more songs!! Emery came in and participated! She LOVED singing the songs and doing the movements with us!!

My little pilot!! Too cute!! I think this picture was taken Day 3!! That was our not so good day...Max and Emery were very tired as they weren't use to getting up early and being out the door for something every morning. We got through it though and made a point to go to bed earlier that night!! 

Then we got up and had donuts before we went into to VBS on day 4!! Definitely got them going!!

I loved being able to peek in on the kids each day to see what they were up too!! Max learning the bible story of the day...up in the front in the blue shorts!! 

And our LAST day was SO MUCH FUN!! Imagination Station we got to make bubble wands!!

And make a BIG mess!! LOL

We had such a GREAT week worshiping our sweet GOD and spending time with some of our friends! We honestly didn't do much else as the kids and I came home ate lunch and napped each afternoon!! Can't wait until next year!! So so much FUN!!
