When Daddy got home we headed to Max's choice...El Mezcal!! Or "Elmo's Cow" as he calls it!! LOL
We had a yummy yummy dinner!! We bypassed a birthday dessert as we had quite a few treats throughout the day already!!
However....I did let Max play the basketball gum game and out came his FAVORITE color!! He was super pumped about it!!!
Then it was off to continue celebrating by taking Max to his FIRST game of Putt Putt!!!
I would have to say Max just has a natural talent for sports because he played like he has played a few times before!!
I mean seriously he was doing WAY better than me the ENTIRE game!!
Emery was a SIGHT to see!!!
She would try to swing at the ball and then she would end up picking it up and throwing it or...
rolling it....
Oh wait...she had to stop and pose for a picture!! LOL
or kicking it....or just dropping it into the hole and saying "I WIN!!!"
Such a SASSY little thing!!!
Max on the other hand was serious about his game!!!
He got his first HOLE IN ONE!!! And it was on Hole 8 his FAVORITE number!! How COOL is that!?
Max finished off all of our balls on the 18th hole and he almost got another hole in one!! We left with Max telling us that was the "BEST" game ever!! He couldn't wait to come back and do it again!!!
Then when we got in the car we told him...you get to go home and open your birthday presents from Mommy, Daddy, and Emery!! Max couldn't believe it!! Another great surprise!!

Then we had to go outside in the dark and try it out a few times....
It was his BIRTHDAY and we bent the normal bedtime routine just a bit....
It was TOTALLY worth it too!! Max LOVED his baseball toy!! We had such an amazing day celebrating Max's Birthday!! I couldn't have asked for a better day!! Max was sad that it had to end but he told us he just LOVED this day and that he couldn't wait to turn 5....yea...well....let's take our time on that one...
Will try and get Max's 4 year old post up asap...things have been crazy with Internet down and traveling...
