Baby Max is 13weeks old today! He is weighing in a little over 15lbs! We finally gained a little more. Not that he was hurtin or anything! HA! We were getting a schedule down for nights but baby Max has proved me wrong all week. He goes down at 9pm and has been getting up anywhere between 3am and 5 am then back down and up again between 6am and 8am! I have no idea what he is doing. I mean it has been a different time every night this week! Such a silly little boy! He has so many new things lately...you saw a few I posted the other day. Other things are he likes to play with his hair all the time especially when he is tired. It is too cute. Speaking of hair his is starting to fall out! SO SAD! My favorite new thing is when he wakes in the morning and I go to get him out of the bed. I go in his room and say good morning and he just starts smiling! So sweet! He is rolling side to side when I lay him on his playmat. He has great head control now so I can put him in his umbrella stroller. He loves it! He just talks the whole time at everything he is looking at! He loves to talk too. I guess he got that from his momma! HA!
We found our thumb this weekend too! It is so cute. He will suck on it some but what he really likes to do is chew on it! HA! He still likes his pacifer but he likes his thumb too!!
So alot has happened in the last few days!!! Friday Sept 12 Max started running a low grade fever and we have now figured out he is teething. He has been chewing on the nipple of the bottle lately so I bought these rings to put in his mouth. I was holding them for him until I put one in his hand and he brought it up to his mouth himself!! He is getting so big!! He loves to chew on these rings. In the pic above it was funny because he was chewing on the ring with one hand and holding onto his ear with the other!! Too funny! He hasn't been eating too well lately so I moved up a nipple size and he loves it! He was taking about 30 minutes to eat now it takes about 10!! He is taking about 4 oz every 3 hrs now! Such a big boy!!
Our little man is 12 weeks old today! He is still weighing in at 14 1/2 lbs! His eating habits are starting to change though. I think we are about to go through a little growth spurt. He is lifting his head and trying to roll over. He is only getting up once during the night! I couldn't ask for a better baby! He is just so good!! He is really starting to get a little personality. He just laughs and coos and talks to everyone that will talk back. He is very ticklish on his belly, neck, and feet! You can get him to just laugh and laugh when you tickle those spots! He wore his first pair of shoes yesterday (see them in the pic above) he didn't really care for them too much. He kept kickin his legs and moving his toes around until I took them off! HA! Guess he just isn't ready for somethin on his feet yet. One other new thing he is doing is playing with his hair a lot. It is so sweet to see him put both hands on his head and rub them around while he is eating!!! Gosh I just love this little boy...I could just eat him up! HA!
I got baby Max's rainforest jumper out and put it together today! I put him in it for a little bit since he can hold his head up by himself for short periods. He seemed to like it...he was smilin and talkin while he was sittin in it! We also sat him in his little seat thing..he liked it too! I think anything that helps him sit up and see everything makes him a happy boy!
Well, Friday morning I laid in bed listening to baby Max wake up and just talk and talk to himself. I let him just hang out for about 15 minutes and then I went into his room to see what he was up to! Well....he was turned upside down in his bed and some how he got out of his blanket that he was swaddled in???? I have no idea how. He is so silly! He was just a kickin and laughin when I got in there. So needless to say no more blankets in the bed!!! We now sleep in footed pjs! Although, it is kind of sad not to swaddle him anymore!
This outfit makes Daddy so proud! He would love for baby Max to go to Memphis! And no I didn't buy this outfit for him! You can thank Gramps and Grandma Maxwell!So I know this video is sideways but I couldn't resist putting it on here. This is Baby Max's laugh! It is the sweetest thing ever. I was just excited I caught it on camera and wasn't paying attention that I had the camera turned the wrong way! Sorry!
Well, baby Max is 11 weeks old. Still weighing in at 14 1/2 lbs! He has definitely outgrown all his 0-3 months clothes. It was sad putting all of those away!!! He is laughing and talking so much more these days. He is starting to draw his legs into himself..I think he is about to find his feet! He loves to sing patty cake and head, shoulder, knees and toes. He just laughs and laughs when we sing those together! He is holding his head up really well these days. He can hold it up for quite some time when you are holding him up to your shoulder.
Some firsts we had over the week is...he went to nursery at church for the first time last night. We went and checked him in, they put a sticker on his back and gave me a sticker that matched his so when we picked him up they checked to make sure we got the right kid. They handed me a pager and said they would page me if he started crying. It was very weird leaving him in a room full of babies and caregivers! And of course the pager never went off! He is so good! He even took a little nap while he was in there! Craig's birthday was this past Sat so Craig and I went out together for the first time. We left baby Max with Grandma and Gramps Maxwell. Craig and I went to the Memphis Football game and tailgated with friends and family. We had a lot of fun! It was definitely very strange to be together without a baby but I couldn't wait to get back and pick him up!! Yes..I missed the little guy and I was only away for like 5 hrs!!! HA!
Our new favorite thing is to sit facing out in the baby bjourn backpack. He just looks around at everything. We go on walks in it and I even wore it to go shopping at Walmart. He stayed awake the entire time looking around at everything and then when I put him in his car seat to go home he passed out in like 2 seconds! HA!
Look at me in my big boy PJs! Aren't they so cute! My grandma and gramps Maxwell got them for me!!!

Well, Baby Max had a few bad days after his shots. He ran a low grade fever for about 5 days. He slept straight for 2 days...so needless to say we didn't have a very good schedule going on...he would eat a little and then sleep...eat and little and sleep...and we are now finally back to a somewhat normal schedule. He was eating 2-3 oz every 2-3 hrs but now we are eating 3-4 oz every 2 1/2-3 hrs. He goes down for bedtime around 9pm and wakes in the 3oclock hr and then the 6oclock hr. He likes to stay up sometimes after the 6oclock feed but lately he is going back down till around 9oclock hr! He is so great!
