Happy 10 months!

And here is about to try and crawl off the chair towards me! But the smile is so cute!

Okay starting to get tired of this.....would you please STOP already! Mom you do have like 4800 pictures of me ALREADY!!! (ha ha!)

Max turned 10 months old yesterday! He is weighing in about 20 lbs and is about 30 inches. He is really starting to look more and more like a little boy instead of a baby! SO SAD! Where does the time go!? He is really getting his little personality! He is a snuggle bug! He loves to give kisses! He is still very talkative.

New things:
* We are waving bye bye now! He first started just holding his arm in the air which was quite funny...but now he waves with his entire arm. Too cute! I have a little video clip I will post sometime.
* We are working on saying UP when he wants to be picked up. He does it every now and then.

* He is cruising the furniture really good but still not really any attempts to let go and walk on his own. He practically runs with his walker now. He is pushing all the chairs in the kitchen around and using them as walkers. He can walk just holding one hand but when you let go he immediately drops to crawling position. I know he will walk when he is ready!

* He figured out the sippy cup on Saturday April 25. He tilted that bad boy back and started drinking. I actually got a little teary eyed. However...for some reason he thinks breastmilk in the sippy cup is yucky. He actually won't swallow it. He lets it just run out of his mouth...like what is this?! We are going to work on that....hopefully that will get better in the next few weeks....
* He has a new crawl which I am calling power crawl....he puts his head down and goes really fast when he is going for something. It is quite the scene. I haven't been able to get it on video just yet....

* He figured out that he could take the blocks and put them through the hoop of his basketball goal. I came in the playroom and saw like ten blocks stacked around the goal that he kept putting in. So smart!

* One top tooth is half way in and the other three on top are poking through. Poor thing is chewing on EVERYTHING!

* Loves to be outside! We got him a wagon and a push car which he LOVES! He prefers the car over the wagon but he really enjoys both. He actually crys when he sees you go out the door and he isn't with you!

*When he hears the phone ringing he goes crawling for the phone! I can't believe he has already put those two things together. He also loves to talk on the phone.

* He is into everything....he can't really be left alone anymore!

* He is FEARLESS! For instance...he loves to be hanging upside down! He laughs and laughs!

We are:

* still in size 3 diapers*

* wearing size 6-12 months in some brands and 12 months in others*

* wearing a size 4 shoe*

* eating 4-5 to 6oz bottles*

*eating three meals and about 2 snacks everyday*

* gets up about 6:30-7am, naps 9:30-11am, naps 3-4:30pm and then bedtime around 8:30pm*

*favorite toys: walker, incrediblock, dinosaur toy, books, shape sorter, balls, basket ball goal*

*favorite foods: turkey hot dogs, turkey, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, cherries (pretty much all fruit) and Gerber cookies*

* all time favorite thing: bathtime*

Random thoughts....

So I finally got around to updating the blog today! Check below for a couple of new blogs...Max has been sick for the past few days with a virus. He had some temps of 104 on Tue! Poor baby! He has actually been pretty good though. Just not sleeping very good. Hopefully we will get a good nights rest tonight since he has been fever free for almost 24hrs.

Not much going on around here. Craig and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary, Tuesday April 21st! Can't believe it has already been 2 years! God has truly blessed us with an AMAZING two years of marriage! I am very thankful for such a wonderful, loving, caring husband and father to our son! I can't thank God enough for matching me up with my soul mate! This is how everyone's life should be....full of LOVE!

Well... not really a lot to share...thought I would throw this video of Max in...it is too FUNNY! One of his new favorite things to do....

AND BEST OF ALL! Hannah's little BIRTHDAY OUTFIT! SO ADORABLE! I did not make the tutu it is from gymboree.....but I did make the shirt and bib! Can't wait to see pictures of her in it! She is going to look like a little princess!

Little Gym!

Went to Little Gym with Hannah last Friday for bring a friend day and lets just say MAX LOVED IT! Thanks Hannah for inviting Max! We had such a good time.

9 1/2 months!

Max turned 9 1/2 months this past Thursday April 9th! He is weighing in at a little over 20 lbs. I think I am finally starting to realize my baby is about to be 1! I just don't know where the time goes! Sometimes I wish I could just stop time and get to enjoy all the stages slowly...well maybe not ALL the stages! Ha! Max actually sat still for me to get a good picture in his chair this time! I was so PROUD!

New things:

* Max is saying Bye Bye! He still will not wave it though....we are working on it!
* He is laughing to get people's attention...it is so cute when he does it. He laughs and then looks around to see who is looking at him. The little laugh is contagious too. I can't help but laugh with him!

* Still working on 4 top teeth and 2 more on bottom. A few of the top ones are poking out. Poor thing is having a tough time with all those teeth coming in.

* Putting toys into things.

* He is walking really well with the walker and he can walk just holding one of our hands...but when you let go he drops down and starts crawling. Don't think he is quite ready to be on his own yet....

* He eats EVERYTHING! Actually he loves meat. He seems to eat the meat off his plate first. We have found he doesn't like cream corn, he spits it back out. Guess he is like his daddy!

* Opening and closing cabinets! More child proofing here we come!!!

* He loves banging toys together. This seems to be one of his favorite things these days...Like right now he is banging two blocks together and making a lot of noise! HA!

* He hates the vacuum, ice maker, mixer, blender, anything that makes those loud white noises....the poor baby CRYS and CRYS when it is on! Don't know how to fix this problem because he is really scared of it. I try and hold him when I vacuum and you would think I am hurting him how loud he crys. If anyone has any suggestions...please pass them on!

Well, that's about it...I think! He is just growing so fast and changing so much everyday! Man, I just LOVE THIS LITTLE GUY!!!!

My great find!

My new find at Once Upon a Child! The Fisher Price Roll around Dinosaur! I got it for $12! Wahoo! It is going for about $199 brand new on Amazon. Crazy how expensive toys get when they stop making them! It is a great little toy and Max loves it! He has actually figured out how to put the balls in the holes! Last night I couldn't find his frozen ring I had given him and he had put it up inside the dinosaur! So cute! Guess he was hiding it for later! Ha ha!

Happy Easter!

We went to see the Easter Bunny on Friday and Max was not too sure about him. He cried a little but I managed to get one good pic. Max sat in his lap and kept looking at him then bust out crying! Poor baby! I think he liked what the Easter Bunny brought him this morning though. I will post pictures later. We just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter! Hope everyone has a wondeful day spending time with family and friends! GOD IS GOOD! HE IS RISEN! AMEN!

9 month photo shoot!

Got 9 month pictures done at Portrait Innovations again! We went last Fri April 3rd at around 12:30. We didn't get to go back until almost 1:15 but Max did great! I was so worried because he was getting antsy and with 6 teeth coming in we have small windows of no fussiness....but needless to say he did wonderful! I spent WAY too much money on all the beautiful pictures! Here are 12 out of the 72 pics they did! Trust me they were ALL cute!!!

Max loved these bears...he kept throwing himself back on them. It was so cute! I think he thought they felt like his B....so soft and cuddly!

Max LOVED the rubber duckies is the picture set. He stood up at one point and reached down to get the small duck.

Notice in this pic...no small duck...ha! He is holding it! After we were done with these pictures he kept crawling over to the tub and looking inside for the ducks. The photographer had to move the bathtub and ducks out of the room so Max would quit crawling off set....ha ha! Such a silly boy!

We did not get many pictures with this column because Max kept using it as a walker. He would push himself around the set with it and knock things over....busy busy boy!

Such a sweet picture of Max and his daddy! There is just something about a daddy holding his lil boy in his arms that just melts my heart!! Man I love these two boys!!!

Popsicles are our FRIEND!

Max is officially working on 6 more teeth! Yes you heard me correct SIX teeth. 4 on top and 2 more on bottom. Poor baby!!! He is having a hard time. Anything cold is his FRIEND! and of course Ibuprofen! Let's just say we haven't had the best of sleep around here....and of course I don't get much done while he is awake...but I have to remember it is not forever and the boy lil boy is miserable! I wish I could take the pain away!
