2 and 3/4s...

So meant to do a 2 and half post but it totally kept slipping my mind!! I did want to throw in a small update though because I feel like she has CHANGED so much since she turned 2!!

For starters she is COMPLETELY potty trained and ACCIDENT FREE!! She is wearing panties through the day and pull-ups at night. She has only peed in the pull-ups a few times!! She is really ROCKING the potty training thing!! Of course she is MISS INDEPENDENT when it comes to pottying too!! Everything about it..."I do it all myself!" "You close door peas, I do it!" oh and my favorite "You go out peas, I need to be alone, or "turn around you can't see me!" LOL She is a riot!! She really does better when she can have some privacy. Then she runs out and screams whatever she has done and wants EVERYONE to know about it!! 

I just thought her personality was shining through months ago. We are REALLY seeing it now!! Whew!! She is so FULL of life, happy, BOSSY (this is a new one recently), dramatic, independent, funny, caring, loving and just so outgoing!! We are really LOVING watching her change and grow!! She keeps us LAUGHING most of the days!! You really have no idea what she is going to say and do most of the time! LOL

Her stats: weight 33 lbs

height 3ft 2.5in (Girl has done some SERIOUS growing!!)

She is wearing 2t in somethings but mostly I have switched her over to 3t as she has shot up in her height lately. Her foot size (7 and half) has stayed the same for a while. She is wearing a size 8 shoe still. 

She has ALL 20 teeth as her 4 two year old molars made their way in slowly all at the same time! 

She is becoming a little picky when it comes to eating. Or shall I say she gets on kicks of the same foods over and over. For instance...EVERY morning she wants "wucky warms" (aka lucky charms) and some kind of fruit. EVERY lunch she wants "chees and pepperowneees" (aka cheese and pepperonis) and EVERY minute she wants a piece of CANDY! Her favorite foods though are cheese, pepperoni, chicken (you can call all meat chicken and she will at least try it, if not eat it), all fruits really but I have to say strawberries and grapes are still her all time fave, carrots and cucumbers with ranch dressing, mac and cheese, cheese quesadillas, and grilled cheese (really ANYTHING with cheese). Her favorite drinks are OJ, sprite and water. She is not much of a MILK drinker but she gets lots of dairy from CHEESE!! ;)

Like I said her personality is REALLY shining through!! She is so full of life!! A little spit fire one minute and an angel the next. And boy oh boy she knows how to manipulate....for instance if she is getting in trouble...she can make you start laughing or do something really cute to make you change your mind!!! I am not even joking!! Some of the things she does are so darn cute you can't help yourself!! LOL

Some of her favorite things to play is babies, dress-up, board games (she thinks she is old enough for ALL of them), kitchen, shopping, and really anything outdoors especially if it involves water or bubbles!! 

She has really learned ALOT too!! She knows her colors, shapes, quite a few letters of the alphabet, knows her numbers and can count up to 15. After 15 it goes like this...17,19, ONE HUNDRED!! LOL Some days she can count to 20 but for the most part she skips a few numbers after 15. She really is picking up on so much from her bubba!! She just adores him and wants to be JUST LIKE HIM!! She LOVES to sing and read!! I would say some of her favorite songs are Jesus Loves Me, He's got the whole world in his hands, 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed, Zacchaeus, and any Go Fish guys songs!

Precious precious little girl!! We are LOVING watching you grow and change everyday!! We are so so BLESSED!!!

Iphone dump...

Totally RANDOM post!! Here are a lot of pics on my iphone I have been meaning to upload! Max and Emery being silly trying on their new swimsuits!! I got the boys trunks at Blanks Boutique. Not sure if I am going to monogram them or not...

Emery's suit is from Smockadot Kids. And it is SUPER cute!! Just LOVE it!! Def putting an initial or monogram on that bad boy!

These next few pictures were back in March when we went to the zoo with our friends. We went to Sting Ray Bay! We went the Thursday before Easter because Candice's big kids only had a half day of school.

We had a GREAT time!!

Emery didn't really care about the sting rays. She was more interested in playing in the water!! She is such a little water baby!!

Having a Popsicle after the zoo!! We actually were house sitting for our neighbors. They have a dog and a cat that we were taking care of the week before Easter. The kids LOVE helping out with their animals. And an added bonus is they have a trampoline in the backyard. We took full advantage of it and played on it everyday that didn't rain. They had pulled the basketball hoop around to the trampoline so it was TONS of fun to play basketball while jumping!! 

The week after Easter we had a few cold days again!! Boo!! But we came up with fun things to do inside!

Kids are playing dentist here. They were so cute playing together. They were pretending to clean each others teeth, xray them (with the flashlight) and even break out some cavities!!

They had to go with me to the dentist one day and this all stemmed from that. I guess watching me get my teeth cleaned looked like a lot of fun! 

Just being too cute!! I just can't even express how much fun these two have these days! They are really becoming the BEST of friends! Don't get me wrong...they have their moments...but for the most part they really ENJOY each other and find things they like to do together. Makes a Momma HAPPY!! I pray every day that they are going to be BEST friends and really truly BE THERE for each other!!

MOVIE DAY!! April 5th Not the best picture with my iphone but just had to post that we took Emery to her FIRST real movie!! We went to the cheap theaters to try it out. Emery, Max and I were all alone in the theater watching Wreck It Ralph!! It was a really cute movie and it held Max's attention great! Emery was up and down a little but all in all she did really good!

April 6th we went swimming for the FIRST time of the year! We went to our indoor pool at our gym. It has a walk in ramp that the kids LOVED!! Max however, had forgotten all his swimming skills he learned last year. Hopefully he will pick them back up quickly when he goes to lessons again in June. 

April 9th was my BIRTHDAY!! My sweet hubby had these cute napkins all over the house. So were hidden but most of them were everywhere I would typically go in a days time. The hidden ones were the kids favorite part! They kept asking me what time were we having my birthday party!! So cute!!

Craig even got balloons and a banner!! So IMPRESSED!! He did such a great job!! 

Max had school since it was on a Tue this year so Emery and I met Nana up at a nail place to get a pedicure. This was Emery's FIRST time to get her toes painted (aka mini pedicure) at a salon!! She was super EXCITED!!

Emery picked out a pretty pink for all three of us!! She sat so still for the lady to do her toes!! So proud of my little girly girl!!

We had a BUSY day on my birthday!! That night we grabbed some dinner at On The Border then headed over to our little friend Reid's birthday party at Pump It Up!! Little Reid and I share a birthday!! He turned 4 and I turned....

Yep!! 32!! Seriously where has the time gone!! On Wednesday night we went to my moms to celebrate with some yummy home cooking and her infamous fresh STRAWBERRY cake!! My FAVE!! Craig picked up these adorable candles as another little surprise!! He was all about making my birthday super special!!

Like I said...totally RANDOM post but just catching the fam up on what is going on with us!! And I love to look back and read/see all the randomness that is going on in our lives at this point in time!

Max's FIRST T-ball Game!!

This past Friday we had Max's FIRST T-ball game!! We had a TON of rain on Thursday so I really didn't think Max would play. However, we were pleasantly surprised and Max was so EXCITED he couldn't see straight!! 

Max and his new buddy Colton!! Such a sweet boy and he is just as obsessed with sports as Max!! Hence why they were instant friends ;)

Crazy girl!! She was super EXCITED about bubba's game too!! She just ADORES watching her bubba do anything!!

Prayers and devotional time!! 

Max's team (the Yankees) were the visiting team today so they were first up to bat. Each kid gets to bat once an inning and run the bases once an inning. Max did great his first time up to bat! 

Then it was time to go in the outfield! Max played third base first. He caught a ball (well picked it up off the ground) right off! 

Emery ran out to her Daddy during the game!! Oops!! That was a Mommy fail. I was trying to video, get pictures, and watch little Miss Em. My parents were out of town for this game and my in-laws couldn't make it and Craig is helping coach. So....good thing it is very laid back ;)

Max second chance to bat he hit the ball all the way to the fence!! 

The other team took off to get the ball. It cracks me up how ALL of them run to get the ball!! Max took off running as fast as he could!!

And he made it home plate before the boys made it back with the ball!! Max's FIRST HOMERUN!! I know it isn't really considered one in t-ball but we are counting it as one!! Everyone was cheering for Max!! He LOVED it!!

The way it is set up they are to have about 4 innings or 50 minutes of play time. And they do a point system so the kids get points for hitting, catching and throwing. I haven't figured it all out yet as it is a bit confusing. Main point for us is Max learn some basics and to have FUN!!

I would def say he is learning and having FUN!! 

Craig coached first base the entire game. The parents help out with both teams. Max was getting some pointers from Daddy while he was in the out field. 

And that's the game!! Max looked over at the score Yankees 79 and Marlins 78! He was screaming "We win!! We win!!" in the out field. Guess we need to work on some better sportsmanship ;)

Lining up to say "Good game!" and high five the other team!! I kind of miss doing the tunnels ;) I guess they are too big for that now....

Running up to tell us Yankees WIN!!! Max was so EXCITED!! He really had a great time and of course we loved watching his first game!! So different from soccer or basketball!! I really wasn't sure if Max would like it or not because it isn't as fast paced as the other sports he has done. However, he talked about how much he liked it the entire way home. He also said it was his new favorite sport!! 

Guess we shall see in due time how he really feels about it!! His next game is scheduled for this coming up Sat. Stay tuned for how it goes!!
