Max FINALLY had his FIRST T-ball practice. He was suppose to have a few others that were cancelled due to rain :( However, they got one in prior to Friday night's FIRST game!! When we got there they gave Max his uniform. ALL WHITE! He has some black practice pants on that we picked up at Dicks but come game time he will be sporting an ALL WHITE uniform....sigh.... They did have the boys practice in their jersey top and hat just to get use to it though.
Super pumped to finally get to have his first practice!! Max talked about it ALL week and was counting down the days till practice! We were so thankful they didn't cancel despite the tremendous amounts of rain we had this week.
We are playing T-ball with Hope church this season. Max is part of the YANKEES team this year!! The boys were lining up when their name was called to see who was all there. They scrimmaged/practiced against the Dodgers today.
Five of our seven were there at the beginning and the other two showed up a little late. These 5 were like instant friends. It was so cute to see them talking and getting to know one another.
Max was on the end with Colton and they hit it off!! They were chasing and tackling each other by the end of practice. Giggling and just having a good ole time!!
I so wished I knew what they were talking about here. So cute!!
Time to practice catching!!
The boys were all lined up to catch the Dodgers who were practicing batting. However, each catch would end up in a pile up!! All the boys wanted to catch the ball! LOL
Max caught the ball below and then Colton and Beck piled on top! I think after a few catches they were just having fun tackling and piling on top of each other!

Max was a little upset at first that they HAD to hit off a tee. We originally thought that they would pitch to them a few times and if they couldn't hit they had to use the tee. Oh well...we thought wrong. It ended up being fine and Max did GREAT hitting off the tee.
He was hitting some of his balls to the fence!! Go Max!!
Next up was practicing throwing!!
Since there was an uneven number Craig ran out and threw to Max so he would have someone across from him. The boys all did so good for their first practice! I can't wait till their first game!!
At the end the got to practice running the bases!! I think this was ALL of their favorite parts!!

The third time around Max was sliding into each base and was completely FILTHY when we left!! Gotta LOVE Boys!! ;)
He had a BLAST and he was def sad when it was time to go!! This week he has been counting down the days till his first game. Hopefully the weather won't ruin it for him!! We have lots of rain coming in tonight so hopefully we can get enough sun to dry it up before Friday night at 6:30!! I met a few of the moms and they all seemed super nice! Looking forward to our 7 games together with the Yankee team!!
