Thanksgiving 2011

A little recap of our wonderful Thanksgiving Day!!

We started out the morning with some yummy breakfast! I made biscuits, eggs, bacon, and hash browns! Emery was oh so excited when she finally got to EAT what I had been making! LOL
Max was a little late to the table because we let him sleep in since we knew it was going to be a long day without a nap.

We just hung out at the house watching the Macy's Day Parade until around 11:30 when we headed to the Grandmother and Granddaddy Lawson's house!

Ethan, Max, and Sam all curled up playing the Ipad while Daddy and Emery sat over on the fireplace watching the boys!

Time to eat!! Can you see just how excited this girl gets about food!!! LOL

Max had his left over Mexican rice. Our picky little eater doesn't eat ANYTHING these days so he wanted to bring his rice with him to Grandmother and Granddaddy's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

All the fam except for Aunt Lulu (she had to work) and Regina and her fam as they are so far away :(

Laney and Linley wanted to take a picture with Emery but she was so overdue for a nap. Emery just did not want to cooperate. I tried giving her her lovie but that didn't help either. Oh well, the girls loved holding her anyways.

After Emery went down for nap some of the family headed out so Max and Laney went outside to play some baseball with Craig.

The kids took turns hitting and catching. Max was the catcher here. Craig was the pitcher. It was such a beautiful fall day!!!

Hitting the ball!! Go Max Go!!! I left shortly after to go and help my mom with cooking. Max, Laney and Craig came in later to watch the Cowboys play. The kids and Craig headed over to my moms house at halftime.

Eating again...but this time at Nana and Pawpaw Maxwell's house!!!

Emery didn't really care for any of the food except the corn and bread! Notice above she tried the turkey and was spitting it out.

Max ate some pickles, green olives, cucumbers, carrots, and ranch dressing. Oh and notice his styrofoam container of more left over rice! LOL

We were missing LOTS of family here :( Cher and Chuck, Michael and Darren, and Laurie, Dan, Kahla, Lindsay, Trent, and Brendan!

After dinner Max and Nana were looking online for ideas for Christmas. Max hasn't really told us many ideas except of course more BASKETBALLS or HOOPS! Ha! Nana just knew she could find out some other ideas from him....she wasn't very successful either!

While Max and Nana were shopping....Emery was doing one thing she does BEST....making a big MESS!!!

And crawling into the draw and playing! She kept throwing things out of the drawer and saying "Uh oh!"

We took a break for a quick family picture! And we scored one with everyone looking!!! Yay!

Got one picture with a bow!! This girl is too fast for me!! She swipes it out as soon as I put it in! Loving that sweet smile and all those teeth!

Notice Emery was right back in the drawer after we were done with family pics!

I couldn't get the kids to sit together for a Thanksgiving picture so I figured taking one of them playing together was just as sweet!

We ended up taking the drawer out because little miss priss was bending the drawer. Emery didn't care she just got up in the hole instead! LOL Such a mess!!!

We truly have so much to be THANKFUL for!!! We had such a great day spending time together with family all day!! God is so GOOD!
