9 months!!

Dear baby Emery,

You are the sweetest, loving, smiley, cuddly baby EVER!!! Mommy, Daddy, and bubba just ADORE you! I honestly cannot believe that you are already 9 months!!!

You turned 9 months on Friday May 27th and we actually had your 9 month check up on the 26th! You weighed in at 18lbs 13oz (50%) and were 28 inches long(75%). You didn't have any shots this time around! Yea! However, you did have to get your finger stuck to check your blood counts! You were such a BIG girl! You didn't even cry! Dr. Christian said you are looking great! You have hit all of your milestones for the most part and you are working towards the others!

You are wearing 6-9 month clothes mostly but you can fit into some 12 month things too! You are wearing a size 2 shoe and size 3 diaper still.

You are such a FUN little baby! Your little presence just LIGHTS up the room! You seem to ALWAYS be happy!!! You have a contagious smile and laugh!! You would never know that you were such an unhappy baby the first 6 months! It is actually super EASY to make you smile or laugh too!
You love to go go go! You would rather be rolling around on the floor playing than strapped into a bouncy seat or jumper! You love to play with anything that you can stick in your mouth or makes LOTS of noise!!!
You still LOVE to eat! You are taking 4 bottles a day still but you aren't taking them too great. You only take like 3-4 oz in the first three and about 6oz in your nighttime one. You would much rather eat FOOD! You love pretty much any finger foods. Your favorites are fruit, veggie straws, french fries, puffs, eggo waffles and any kind of bread!
Your schedule changes a little everyday but for the most part you wake between 6:30 and 7am, naptime around 10 am which is usually an hr to 2 hrs, afternoon nap varies depending on morning nap or what is going on but you usually take an hour nap sometime in the afternoon, and bedtime is usually 8-8:30pm.

You LOVE bathtime!! Actually you just LOVE being in the water! You are a little water baby! You love to splash and lay on your tummy and kick the water! I have a feeling you are going to just LOVE the beach when we go in August!!

You LOVE to be outside! If you are fussy at all when we head outdoors your little smile pops right out!!! You love to swing, play in the grass, and just hang out outdoors!

You are really trying to talk these days! You can say da da, bubba, na na, and you try to say ma ma but it just hasn't really happened yet. I am sure when it finally does you will make your momma cry a little :) You really try to repeat people but it just ends up being a screaming mess. It is actually super cute! I will have to video and post it sometime!

Lil Miss Emery you are such a JOY to have around everyday! I love that you get so excited and happy to see me EVERY time I look at you! Sometimes you get so excited you slap your arms and legs. It is so stinking cute!! I honestly CANNOT IMAGINE my life without you!! You complete our little family and we are so BLESSED to have you!!! Happy 9 months my sweet lil angel!!!
