Beach Day 5

On Wednesday morning we woke up to beautiful sunshine and slightly cooler weather!! It was a GREAT day to stay at the beach all day!!

We started out with a little baseball!! Max was loving being able to slide in the sand!! If you look close the boys were using sticks as their bases! 

Love getting the kids footprints in the sand each year!! My little tradition I started back when Max went to the beach for the first time.

And of course I love some sandy little toes too!! ;)

Emery was still leary of the water today. The waters were a little rough but not too bad. She would go in the water if you held her but wouldn't just walk right up to it by herself. She would stand back and yell "NO WATER!" It was too funny!!

Emery and I pretended we were mermaids and buried our legs together!! It was fun!! 

Later we tried to get Emery to like the water....

She would LAUGH so hard when the water receded and of course Max was running and jumping in which was making her laugh too!

Then she would cry, scream, or say "NO WATER" when the water came back up to her. One of the ladies that was next to us came up and told us that they loved watching her. They said she is a hoot! She loves it one minute and hates it the next. LOL It was pretty funny to watch her interact with the water!! 

We skipped the pool and headed back to the house after the beach. Ate some lunch and had a little downtime. Emery refused to nap so we decided to get ready and head to play putt-putt!!

Tried out this new app called frame magic!! So FUN!! Definitely will put this to good use!!

On the way to putt putt Emery PASSED out!! When we got there I transferred her to the stroller and she stayed asleep! This is what happens when a 2 year old fights naps ;) I really couldn't believe she stayed asleep. She usually doesn't transfer well. And I don't think she has slept in a stroller in over a year!

Anyways...back to putt putt. We went to a place called The Track. It had all kinds of things to do! 2 different courses, race cars, bumper cars, bumper boats, kiddie rides, games, and much more! 

We had a GREAT time!! There were all kind of fun things mixed in with each hole!! Like this one you had to get the ball up a hill into the house. I think it took everyone a few tries to just get the ball up to the house!

These little lizards were all over the place. Max and I tried to catch one but they were super fast!

Somebody finally woke up around hole 10! She had fun joining in with us!

After our golf game we headed over to feed the fish!!

There were TONS of them!!

Emery was feeding them one pellet at a time!! Ha!! Notice that tongue out!! She is working hard!!

We let the kids ride a few rides before heading to dinner! Emery did the swings and then they both did the spinning dizzy cars!! 

We went to Back Porch for dinner!! One of my FAVORITES!!!

The beautiful view!! Seriously this could never get old!!

Waiting for dinner we decided to head down to the beach and play for a bit!! They had a cute little playground out on the beach for the kids! Max and Emery had a ball! Emery was so excited about the slide. They kept racing each other down and falling into the sand. There were nothing but constant giggles!! 

Oh how I LOVE vacations!! Especially laid back ones were you can just soak up all the sweet time with your family! Making memories that you hopefully will always remember...nothing like it!
