We attended the annual Alpine Village tonight! My parents (Nana and Pawpaw) met up with us there so they could help out with the kids and enjoy some Christmas festivities too!

We got there right when the doors open as I know how BUSY this place gets! It is really a wonderful Christian activity to do with your kids and it is totally FREE! All you have to do is register online each year at Trinity Baptist Church!

First stop....The Village Gingerbread Shop!

Max and Nana making a YUMMY cookie! Emery decided to walk in at the last minute and the nice ladies gave her a pre-made cookie! So sweet! Emery grabbed it and ran!

Next stop was the Village Reindeer Shop!

Max and Emery got some reindeer food to throw out on the lawn Christmas Eve so Santa will know to stop at our house!

On our way to the next stop...Emery spotted the snow!! She was so EXCITED! She was pointing and just talking in her own little language. So of course we decided to play there for a minute!

Max was loving throwing the snow everywhere!

Emery just kept touching it and pushing it around. I don't think she really knew what to do with it...but she liked it!

Next up...the Snowman Shop!

Max and Daddy made a little snowman magnet. It is super cute and already on the fridge! Emery walked in and once again they had a pre-made one for her! Such a great idea so the little ones can feel important too!

Next up the Village Book Store! The kids got to pick out any book and take it home! Such a neat idea! Craig was showing Emery the little Eyes, Ears, Nose book but she kept saying "uh uh" and "nooooooo"

Max grabbed a great book! Brown bear...Brown bear...What do you see?

Emery wanted to find her book on her own! Miss Independent and then of course she went for he biggest book she could find! LOL

Emery got a ride on the pony in front of the Village Toymaker!

Max headed in with Daddy to make a toy top!

We grabbed some popcorn and headed to the puppet show!

This really isn't a true picture of Emery during the show (just thought it was cute to post) she was dancing, moving her arms, and bouncing to the music. It was the funniest thing I have ever scene! Then she would stop dancing and point and start talking so loud! I literally was laughing so hard I was crying! She was such a hoot!

Max was complete opposite he laid back on Nana eating his popcorn and just enjoyed the show! I don't think he took his eyes off of it! Hands down this was our FAVORITE part of the night!

After the puppet show we hit the Ornament Shop!

I helped Max put his name on his stocking and he put the fuzzy white cotton at the top!

Nana and Emery made one too!

At the village Candlemaker...Max and Nana made a BLUE candle of course and the ladies made a red one for Emery so she could be like her big brother!

Last stop of the night was at the Village Candy Shop!

Emery was trying to grab ALL of the candy....I kept having to put some back and say sorry! Max was very good about only taking one piece per bucket!

Our lil snowman!

and our lil angel...well sometimes....LOL

On our way out we did stop by the LIVE nativity scene! It was very beautiful and quite peaceful even with my loud mouth lil Emery that kept trying to say "bebe" (baby)!

We actually didn't make it to ALL the shops because when we came out of the puppet show some of the lines were very long and we hadn't eaten dinner yet. Figured since we made it to most of them it was time to head out! We also didn't go see Santa since we had already been to see him once this week! Figured Emery had had enough of him for awhile.....

Emery and Max's goodies from the night!

Such a fun night making holiday memories with our kids and family! We met up with Nana and Pawpaw at El Mezcal for dinner afterwards to finish up our night! So blessed to have family here to come and help with the kids and share our lives with! Thanks Nana and Pawpaw for coming with us! We really enjoyed it! Can't wait till next year!
