Craig's GRADUATION!!!

Christian Brothers University Graduation!! May 12th at 9am!! A nice beautiful RAINY day!! We were suppose to be there at 8:30 but to make a LONG story short we got there a little after 9 due to crazy drivers, unorganized parking, and RAIN! Thankfully my good friend Jennifer (pictured below with her one of her sons Jacob) held seats for us so once we FINALLY got there we were able to get seated and stay slightly dry under our umbrellas!!
FUN times!! A HUGE thanks to my mom for riding with us!! I have no idea how I would have made it to the graduation without her. We took turns passing Emery off while holding umbrellas walking to the graduation. I think we had a mile or more walk. It was CRAZY but totally worth it because....
We got to see DADDY (aka Craig...aka my hubby) GRADUATE with his MASTERS of BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION!!! We are SO SO PROUD of him!!!
We walked over to see the daddys!! Jacob held Emery's hand the whole way there and back. He just adores her!! So cute!! Oh and Jacob's daddy (aka Robert) also graduated with his MBA!! We are SO PROUD of Mr. Robert too!!!

About halfway into the graduation during the Bishops speech the clouds parted and the rain STOPPED!! Wahoo!! It was a complete blessing in more ways than one. First thing was I was ALL OUT of snacks!! The kids ate the first hour while sitting under the umbrellas. LOL Second thing though in all seriousness these  kids and adults worked HARD to get to where they are at and I hate they had to sit in the pouring rain on this special day!! Def poor planning on some one's part :(

I think we played with EVERYTHING I brought along with everything Nana had in her purse. But at least the kids were good!!
Max was excited the rain stopped so he could get on my iphone! LOL
Craig and Robert were at the tail end of the list to walk!!
Jennifer and I snuck up to the front to get good pictures!! Below is Robert accepting his diploma!!
Craig was up next after the girl walking up....
And just as I snapped Craig receiving his diploma this nice gentleman blocked my view :( BOO!! At least I tried...
I did get a shot of his backside shaking hands....
And Mr. Robert!! Wahoo!! Go graduate!!!
And our sweet DADDY!!! So handsome and oh so smart!! I know I have said this a million times but we are SO PROUD of him!! He graduated with his MBA with a 4.0!!! Can I get a whoop whoop!!!
After they finished up walking the kids, Nana and I headed out!! It was starting to rain again and I wasn't sure I could walk holding Emery the entire way back...
so...we hopped on a little shuttle that was taking people back to the "far far away" parking lot!! Ha!!
Max LOVED it!! He was so excited he didn't have to have a carseat!! The things that excite you as a kid!!
Craig called me to find out if we were still at the school..sadly we weren't because we hadn't gotten family pictures while he was in his cap and gown and he had to turn them back in!! BOO! We had no idea that we paid $50 bucks just to rent them. TOTAL SADNESS!! So we attempted some family pics once he got home....
It is never EASY with two little ones...but these aren't half bad...I LOVE the one above of Emery she was so tickled about something!

We headed to Jim and Nicks for lunch to CELEBRATE!!!
Robert, his mom (Mrs. Bonnie) and his 3 kids (Jacob, Ella, and Ryan) joined us with my mom. My dad had to work unfortunately and Craig's dad wasn't feeling well so they left graduation and headed home. Robert's wife Jennifer had to head out of town right after graduation so we decided to join our families to make it a bigger celebration!!
Max felt so BIG sitting at the big kids table!!
Emery hamming it up for the camera!! I told the kids to SMILE for Daddy!!
Max was having such a good time I wasn't sure he would stop and take a picture for me....
Emery eventually ended up at the big kids table by request of Jacob. Jacob told me "Emery is the CUTEST thing I ever did see"....talk about MELT my heart!!
What a WONDERFUL day despite the rain!! It was such a blessing to watch Robert and Craig graduate and to be able to celebrate with them!! God is so GOOD!!!

Mother's Day!!

Mother's Day was quite a blur this year as I worked Saturday and Sunday night. However, I was definitely showered with LOVE in gifts, hugs, kisses, and family time!! Honestly, couldn't ask for a better Mother's Day gift than sweet sweet family time!!
Max picked out this bag and flowers and put it together for me!! They also traced my hand one day when I dropped Max off...now I know why!! I love his little hand print in mine. Just precious!
Emery's gift from school was the brown frame below...I was so excited when I got it because I have one from Max from last year that he made me. I love that the frames are opposite. The crazy thing is the kids had totally different teachers!!
So like I said Mother's Day was a blur...I slept most of Sunday away but I awoke to so sweet family time! Craig and my dad picked up Olive Garden for dinner!! YUMMY!!
I loved having some special people to enjoy my dinner with!! God is so good to me!!
3 generations!! Oh yes and mom and I have NO makeup on...no worries though because Emery is CUTE enough to make up for it...LOL
Max wanted in on the fun picture!! And I was so surprised that it turned out so well!! Yay!!
One of me with my babies!!
Cards from Craig and the kids!! I told Craig not to get me anything as I had just gotten an iphone days before. So I figured that would be my Mother's day gift. He got off easy this year....
Sweet little bookmarks the kids made me at church on Mother's Day!

And one of the sweet cards Max made me at church. He did the MOM and his name all by himself!! He was so PROUD and so was I!! He really is growing up WAY TO FAST!!

And the other card Max made at church. Max said...I love you because you play with me!! So glad that he knows I love him!!
That you GOD for my sweet family and for blessing me with them each day!! And HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all my sweet friends and family out there that I wasn't able to talk to recently!! Hope you all had a wonderful day!!

Lately...

There has been a little of NOTHING going on around here...guess I have really just been LAZY when it comes to blogging...
No seriously Emery and Max keep us busy!! I know I have posted this a few weeks ago that we literally have something everyday that is scheduled besides Fridays! So ready for school to be out for the summer!!! And on another note I will be so glad when they are in the SAME school next year!!
Miss Emery is still getting her "POTTY" on!! She is going more and more each day and she is even telling me "pottee" and then going pee pee on the potty!! I just can't believe it!! We are so PROUD of her!! I need to get her some pull-ups as she is constantly taking her pants or bloomers off and ripping her diaper off to go  potty!! Such a BIG girl!!!
I keep forgetting to get Max's haircut so the other night Max and Daddy slicked their hair back after bath. They came out looking all "cool"!! They are so silly!!
Then I gave Max a crazy hair do!! Ha!
Last Wed (May 9th) Max and I went bowling together and booked his Birthday Party at the bowling alley for June!! He was SO excited!! We had a great day together enjoying one of our last days that Emery has school on a Wed. We really have had some FUN Max and Mommy days!! Guess I will have to find a sitter and keep up our fun date days!!
Yay for POPSICLES!! It has been so hot here already!! Having a Popsicles on hand is a MUST!!
With it being "B" week at school Max was to bring a baby or bear on Thurs (May 10th) to school. He of course picked his bear and put his grizzlies "bear" outfit on him!
I love how EXCITED he was to be all matchy matchy with his bear!! So cute!! He ran right into school and showed his teachers and his friends!! Gotta LOVE it!!
Emery didn't want to be left out...LOL She ran and grabbed her bear and wanted her picture taken too!! Just precious!!
And lastly...a picnic dinner in the front yard!! Oh yes we did!! Craig had graduation practice Thurs (may 10th) night so we were trying to do fun things to keep our mind off of missing Daddy!! He did get home just in time to kiss the babies night night!!

Mother's Tea with Max!

A Max's school they had a Mother's Tea with the three year old class!
My little invitation ;)
Grandmother (aka my MIL) came over to watch Emery so that it would just be Max and me! I had my MIL take a quick picture of us before we left.
Emery didn't want to be left out of the pic...nor did she want to be left at home. She threw a royal fit when I left :( She has def been a permanent attachment to her mommy lately...
Here are the cute little things Max made for me!! Almost all of it was made using his fingerprints!! Love it!! I need to take a close up of the picture he drew of "Max and Mommy playing basketball" it was on the side of the yellow picture cube. I had no idea he could even draw stick people with faces!! So cute!!
We sat in the auditorium and waited for the kids to file in. They all got so EXCITED when they came in and saw all their mommies!!
Right to left Sophia, Davis, Sofia, Bryce, Doug, Christian, Jorge, Maddie, and Max. I didn't get a full picture because I was sitting down but their were a few more classmates to the right of Sophia. There are 13 kids total in Max's class.
The kids singing to us!! So precious!!
Mrs. Kim said the blessing and then we got to dig in to our morning snack of muffins, doughnut holes, fruit, and juice!!
It was such a fun time with the other moms and all the little kids!! I am so blessed to be able to share this time with my son!! God is GOOD!

Max's 6th Soccer Game!

Max played his 6th game this past Tues night. The team they were suppose to play on Saturday had a conflict so they asked to change it to Tuesday night...well, let me tell you it was HOT HOT HOT!!
We got there early since we had snacks for the players and we weren't sure which field we were starting on. I got Max to sit still for a min to get a few good pics!!
Emery didn't want to be left out...so she kept telling me cheeeeese!!!
It was kind of a strange game as all the kids seemed a little off course at first. Coach Grant was late due to his work so a father stepped in to start the game. I think that threw the kids off.
I brought the video camera to hopefully capture Max making a goal....however, he was very passive in the game and just wasn't really into it. I think having school all day and the mere fact it was HOT didn't help. I honestly think he was just tired because on the way to dinner he passed out in the van!
Halftime=Snacktime!! We brought goldfish and blue Gatorades to share with our friends!! Max picked out the snacks for everyone!
Max and Noah ready to ATTACK!! LOL
Running through the tunnel at the end of the game!!
