Wednesday at the Beach!

After another long beach/pool day yesterday we decided to just do some shopping/playing today! We headed to the Baytowne Wharf this morning and had a great time! Can't you tell the kids were just thrilled!! LOL

Even Nana and Pawpaw's pups got to go with us! This little village area is in the same area of our house so it is all pet friendly!

Just a little has changed in five years...our looks and a few kids :) We are so blessed!!

Max was in awe of the fountain!! I love this little picture of him from behind.

He was quick to ask us for all our money so he could throw it in the fountain!

Of course he wanted to get it back out after he threw it in...LOL

We walked around to all the cute little shops and of course had to visit the CANDY SHOP!!

Max was in HEAVEN!! As well as Craig!! They are my two little candy alcoholics!! They like all the fruity gummy stuff!!

We ventured outside to some shaded area to enjoy our candy treats!

Max had a little bag of jelly beans, gummy snacks, and some lego candies!!

Emery wanted to try out the chocolate cluster I got with nuts...don't worry I didn't give her a bite that had any nuts in it.

Emery was quick to spit it out anyways...I don't think she is much of a chocolate lover. She was more excited to have her little gerber puffs!!

After our candy snack we visited the local diner and got a drink. Then we headed over to the playground for a while, fed the fish, visited the toy store and then headed out for lunch. Nana and Pawpaw took the kids to a mexican restaurant for lunch as Max had been asking for rice all week and Craig and I got to go to Cheeseburger in Paradise by ourselves! It was such a nice and relaxing lunch. Thank you Nana and Pawpaw!! After naps and rest time we headed out to the Harborwalk Village!

It was a really nice place as well. We visited a lot of the cute little shops and ate dinner at the Lucky Snapper.

We had to ride the train before we ate dinner! Max was super excited to ride in the BLUE car and he was so excited about his little ticket the man gave him!

It was a fun little ride and Max was so excited about it that he couldn't quit talking about it.

Nana stayed back taking pictures while Daddy, Emery, and Pawpaw would wave at us as we came by!!

I stopped into Harry Ts to get a t-shirt while Max was enjoying the bean bag game!

The view from the Lucky Snapper! It was an okay restaurant. Not my favorite of the week but it was so beautiful to watch the sunset while we ate.

Another FUN day!! It is just so peaceful at the beach!! I am really going to miss this place when we leave :(

Tuesday at the Beach!

Back to the BEACH today!! Whoop whoop!!

Another attempt at a family pic...LOL The kids were more interested in the water coming up to their feet than looking at Nana!!
I put Emery at the edge of the water to see if she would like it...

She did at first...

Started crawling right in...then about this time a wave hit her face and she was DONE!! She started screaming. Poor baby! The beach is just not her thing! Daddy's lil princess! She has got her Daddy WRAPPED around her finger!! Sweetness! The water was so much cleaner today!! Yay!

I have gotten Max's footprints in the sand each year we have gone! Can't believe he is 3 and look how big his feet are!! I haven't measured lately but I think he is a size 10 now.

Loving our beach time!!

We spent a good part of our day at the beach and then the pool. Just love trips were you get to just relax and enjoy some time together! We really didn't do much the rest of the day. We did order in some Jordanos Pizza that night. It was super yummy and we figured after last night's experience at Fudpuckers the kids needed a restaurant free night.....and the adults did too! LOL

Monday at the Beach!

We got up this morning and just took our time around the house! We decided not to go to the beach since we spent so much time there yesterday and it was so stinking HOT!! Must say I won't be coming back to the beach during August again....We did get a little pool time in during the morning hours.

I brought a bag of toys each for the kiddos and it helped out so much (especially in the car). Emery liked pulling hers out and putting them back in of this cabinet! During the afternoon Mom and I went back to the outlet malls while Emery and Pawpaw napped. Craig and Max got their play on!! I did get a few some winter pjs for the kids and a few shirts for myself! That night we headed out to Fudpuckers for dinner!!
We had to wait 45 minutes but it didn't seem that long since there was so much to see and do!

So...our wait time for our food was like an HOUR!! UGH! The kids were OVER it and needless to say when we did get our food it wasn't that great :( BUMMER!! Too bad because this place use to be so good!!

I went through a container of gerber puffs and a small bag of chex mix...we were all a little stressed and were so glad when it was time to GO!!!

Even though our dinner experience wasn't that great we still had another wonderful day spending time together and enjoying our vacay!

Emery's FIRST Time at the Beach!!

After Breakfast on Sunday morning we headed out to the BEACH!!! This was Emery's official FIRST time!!

We actually went to the "private" beach that the House owners of SandDestin told us about...however...it took us like 20 min (walking...not FUN with 2 little ones and all your beach gear) to get there and then the Beach Police escorted us to another part of the beach that was actually were we could go...UGH!! Needless to say we didn't go back to the "private" beach.... Miss Emery wasn't quite sure about this sand stuff....

She didn't seem to too bothered by it at first. She stuck her hands right in.

She just wasn't sure why it was sticking to her hands! Max was ALL for it this year!! He wanted to play play play!!

Thankfully I picked up this little pool from Target. This was Emery's SPOT most of the day!

She did venture out...crawling around the first day....

Max was having a blast playing with Daddy in the "yucky" water. If you look close you can see how much seedweed was in the water....Y-U-C-K-Y!! It didn't bother me but Max didn't really like it!

And Emery didn't much like it either...LOL

Snack Time!!! This girl loves to eat! She really enjoyed her Apple straws on the beach!

So back to crawling around....Emery ended up face planting into the sand...

She was NOT HAPPY about sand all over her face!! Nor did she like that we washed it all off with that nasty salt water!!! My little drama queen!! LOL

A little while later...cleaned up and settled down...we are a HAPPY girl again!!

After the whole sand incident Emery didn't leave the pool much!!

It was kind of nice because we knew she wouldn't go far and she was under the umbrella so she wasn't getting too much sun either!

After the beach we headed back to the condo for some lunch and rest time. Later, that afternoon we tried out the pool close to the house. It was really nice! Max and Emery LOVED the 1 inch kids pool!! Emery was in her little float and walked all over that thing! It was so cute!!

She was laughing and talking the entire time!! Such a little water baby!! Max loved that he could go all around it without his floaties on!!

We headed back to the house...got cleaned up and went to eat at The Crab Trap!! It was SO DELICIOUS!! It is definitely on our list of places to eat at again!!
