More projects...

Well, I haven't been updating as frequently because I have been using all my free time to applique and embroider things for Max and friends. Let's just say it is VERY ADDICTING and I LOVE IT! I went to my first sewing class tonight to learn how to make a johnny for Max (for those who don't know what a johnny is...it is basically a little jumper). It went pretty well! I am almost done with it. It is going to be his Easter outfit. Hopefully it will turn out good and I will post pics when I am done...but for now you can enjoy pics of my latest projects!

I don't like bananas....

So I gave Max some sliced bananas the other day since his favorite baby food fruit is bananas. I just knew he was going to love it! Well, actually he didn't like it at all! He made horrible faces and gagged! It was quite funny. Guess....he doesn't like bananas that much after all!

We went to the park today with some friends! We were enjoying the one day of beautiful weather this week. It was like 65 degrees out and the sun was shining! The babies were just chillin while we walked around for a while. We did get on the swings and slides. I don't think they really cared about the playground just yet....give them some time and I bet we won't be able to get them off the playground! HA!

My first project!

Well, I broke down and got an embroidery machine. I LOVE IT! I did my first project Tuesday and it was so much fun! I haven't been able to make things for Max yet because I had to order a smaller hoop. I can't wait till that comes in! I have been buying designs lately to build up the library....who knew this could get so expensive. I do think in the long run it will save me a lot of money....well I hope so anyways! HA! I guess the whole point is...I am having fun!!!

We have a CRAWLER!!!

Max is officially crawling everywhere as of Sunday Feb. 15th! I can't believe it! He is just crawling wherever he wants to go. It is so darn cute. He smacks his little hands down so hard when he is crawling. He is a little dramatic (I have no idea where he gets that from...ha ha!) He crawls to daddy when daddy gets home at night...which by the way it so adorable! Craig just eats it up! We are having a lot of fun with him these days!!!

Max just wanted to tell everyone HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! Oh and he crawled half way across the room to DADDY!!! WAHOO!!! Will try and capture it on film and post later! Mylil man is getting VERY busy!!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Baby Max sends his lil wet kisses out to everyone! We love you all!!

New addiction!!!

My new addiction! I went over to a friends house the other day and learned how to applique and embroider on shirts! I must say I LOVE IT! Thank you Candice for teaching me how to do it! All the shirts turned out GREAT! I can't wait to make more!

7 1/2 months!

This is about the only way I can get him to sit in the chair these days....is either by giving him a book or tickling him! He is just SO busy!!!

Baby Max is 7 1/2 months! He is weighing in at 19 1/2 lbs and 29 inches.

Eating better these days....he takes about 4: 5-6oz bottles and baby food 3 times a day.

His favorite baby foods: squash, sweet potatoes, chicken and broccoli, turkey and green beans, and anything with bananas

His favorite table foods: grapes, bananas, bread, potatoes, rice (i think this is all i have tried with him....i think he is going to like any table food i give him)

Wearing: Size 3 diapers, 6-12 month clothes, and 6-12 month shoes!

New things: He pulled himself up to standing yesterday! Wahoo! Go Max! He is also crawling backwards. He pretty much gets to whatever he wants either by pulling himself, rolling, laying and then sitting back up, crawling backwards. If I sit him down at one thing in the playroom I can go back in 5 min later and he is across the room playing with something else. I just can't believe how BIG he is getting! I know I say this all the time. But it is just unbelievable that he is almost 8 months old!!!

Ears Update!

Okay...so update on baby Max's ears!

Saturday 2/7: Went and had 2nd Rocephin shot! He cried for about 10min! I felt so sorry for him! Wish I could have taken those shots for him!

Monday 2/9: Back to MD to get 3rd Rocephin shot and he actually did not cry very long! He just wimpered for a little while. Poor Baby! I am SO glad the shots are OVER! Dr. Christion looked in his ears and said they were better but still pus in there. So she wanted to recheck them Thursday and go from there.

Thursday 2/12: Just a recheck! AND GUESS WHAT!!! CLEAR FLUID!!! YEAH!!!! However, if the fluid doesn't drain off by itself then we may have to go to ENT but for now we are doing good! YEAH!! I am so excited for Max! We want to thank everyone for all the prayers! God is good!!!

Poor Baby Max!!!

I am so tired of feeling like this! And on top of it my mom is tryin to take pictures of me in my chair because I am 32 weeks! BIG DEAL MOM!!! I am strugglin here! Can't you see that!!!

I mean it STOP already!!!

Mom...can't you do something to make it ALL better! (Boy I wish I could take all that pain away from my lil boy!!!)

Somebody anybody will you just tell my mom to pick me up! All I want is to be held! Please anybody help me!

Anybody.....somebody....please just hold me and cuddle me! This look like a lot of crying but it was a quick photo shoot! Don't want you guys to think I was just letting more lil Max sit there and cry forever!

This was Max during the night and ALL day pretty much..fussy...fussy..fussy...and all he wants is to be held! But one of my friends said the perfect words today.....HE IS ALL WORTH IT!!! She is SO RIGHT! Thanks Amy for the words of encouragement and the peanut butter m&ms!!!

Well, poor baby Max had his checkup today for his ears and.....bad news..the right ear was worse good news...the left ear was a little better. After 5 days of Amoxicillin and 7 days of Suprax I just knew his ears were better! So Dr. Christion said the next plan of action is Rocephin shots!!! YIKES! Poor baby got 1 shot today and he has to get one Sat morning and one Monday morning for a total of 3 shots! And let me tell you if you have ever had a Rocephin shot they BURN BURN BURN!!! I felt so bad for him. He cried so hard my shirt was wet! I hate that he has to do this 2 more times!!! Please be praying for baby Max that Monday the shots will have cleared up his ears....if not it is off to the Ear, Nose, and Throat Doc!

So, Max woke up a million times last night! I just couldn't believe it. He had been feeling better I thought! But I noticed a little tooth is about to pop out on the bottom! No wonder the boy has been crazy fussy! He has a bad ear infection and a tooth poppin through! The poor baby is miserable!!! His top gums are really swollen too so I am wondering if all four front teeth are going to come in at the same time....if that is the case you may all need to pray for the whole family!

So...needless to say we haven't had the best past few weeks. He has been waking up at least 2-3 times a night so he is exhausted and mommy and daddy are exhausted!! I hope these shots do the trick!
