Max and Emery's Christmas Parties!!

On the last day of school (Monday Dec. 17th) the kids had their Christmas Parties!! Emery cheesing it up for the camera!! I so meant to monogram that top but just never got around to it...oh well it is a super cute outfit without the monogram ;)
Max's party was a PJ party so he wore his Christmas PJs early. I plan to monogram these asap!!
I took the kids to school and then left to run a few quick errands before coming back to enjoy a little of Max's party. The teachers accidentally told me the wrong time so I missed the big Santa scavenger hunt :(
I did however get to see them read The Christmas Story and the kids followed along by making their own nativity scene with stickers! Then I ran over to the cafeteria and got Emery's class party set up. I went back and forth and took a few pictures and helped out. So blessed they are in the same school so I was able to be a part of both of their days!

Doing a little "FREEZE" dancing!! The kids were cracking me up with their moves!!

Lunch time!! Sitting with one of his good buddies Davis!!
There's that sweet smile ;)
Waiting patiently to be called to go and get their stockings!!
Each child brought something little in to share with their friends this year! So fun!!
Max had such a BLAST with his friends today!! So thankful that I went and got to be a part of such a fun and special day!! A HUGE THANKS to Sawyer's mom Kelley and Coleman's grandmother for putting together such an AMAZING Christmas party for the kids!!
Checking out all his goodies!!

Max giving Ms. Donita and Ms. Raegan their gifts!! They both are such sweet sweet ladies!! So blessed to have them loving on my little boy!!
Max's goodies from his stocking!!
While Max's party was going on Emery was having fun too!! The kids all coming in checking out the set up!!
Loved having some cute matchy tableware!! Thanks to Wally World!! And Emery picked out the Santa cups to give each of her friends!!
The kids were so well behaved!! Emery kept smiling at me and saying "Mommy, eating with me!" She LOVED having me with her at school!! So cute!! And of course totally made my up for over 24 hrs worth it!! A big THANKS to my parents for picking the kids up from school so I could go home and crash for a few hours!!
Yummy Christmas Tree cakes!!
Back to the class for a Christmas craft!!
Kids made a little gingerbread girl or boy!!

The cups Emery and I made for her class. I am one of the room moms for her class so we were responsible for getting all the things together for her party!! Loved these cups I found at Hobby Lobby!! What kid doesn't want to celebrate Jesus's birthday!!
Emery's goodies from her classmates and teachers!!
Made these for part of Emery's teachers gift from the class. I LOVE how they turned out!! So making one for everyday use!!  I added gift cards from the teacher's favorite places to give them a nice gift from the class!! Both Ms. Laura and Ms. Anne LOVED them!!

Max-Star of the Week!!

Max was STAR of the week at school the last two weeks!! So we decided to do lunch for his classmates on the day of the program!! Here is his little poster!! So fun creating it and having him pick out what pictures he wanted!!
The "STAR"!!!

and his classmates!! Sawyer, Coleman, Bryce, Sadie, Doug, Davis and Max above...
below Mercedes, Ava, Christian, Alex, Alvin, Ellis, and Maddie!! Such a sweet little class. We brought Papa Johns pizza, cheese sticks, apple slices, juice boxes and cookies. They were all so thankful and appreciative!!
Me and my little "STAR!!" Sweetness!! Thanks to Ms. Raegan (one of Max's teachers) for snapping this photo for me!!
A nice little surprise when I got there to set up Emery was having lunch with her class!! I had no idea that their lunches overlap so they see each other in the lunch room on Mon and Thur. So fun!!
So wonderful to have lunch with my little man and share in the craziness of their day. The kids were so giggly and fun to be around. Helped me take my mind off the fact I was taking my CPN test that night. Good news on that...I PASSED!! No more STUDYING and hence why I am finally getting the blog and many other things back on track!! GOD is GOOD!!

Max and Emery's Christmas Program!!

The kids had their Christmas Program last Thursday (Dec. 13th). I had to grab a few pictures before we headed to the big event. I got out my new camera...yes an early Christmas present which I am IN LOVE with!! I got a Canon Rebel T3 and it is AH-Mazing!! For example...I got this cute picture below after just a few snaps!! PRECIOUS!!!
And this one....
And this one...oh yes!! I may be more obsessed with picture taking now!! If that's possible. Anyways, I love how fast the camera takes the pics!! So easy to capture those sweet smiles!!

Okay so back to the real reason I am blogging....Emery and Max had their first Christmas Program at St. Paul!! My mom (aka Nana) joined me in watching the kiddos. Craig couldn't be there because of a meeting
Boo! :( But we were sure to capture the event in pictures and video!! Thanks mom for helping with the video taking!! You are the BEST!!!
After the little ones went...Emery's class came on. Their class is the young 2 yr old class and they sang "Jingle Bells!!" Emery was front and center!! Love it!! Her teachers said she was the best little singer!!
So cute!!
We heard a few more classes and then Max's class came out singing Silent Night and doing sign language to the song.

They all did such a good job!!
Ms. Dana brought the mic in front of each kid so you could hear each and everyone singing!! So so cute!!
At the end the young 4s (Max's class) and the older 4s sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas!" all together!!
Then it was time for the art displays....
We walked to each room and saw all the kids goodies. You could purchase each item for $1 or more and they were taking the money collected to some families in need. Such a great idea!!
Max had two different ornaments, a plate, a cup, some wrapping paper, and some stationary!

Emery's class made plates, two different ornaments, stationary and an apron!

Close up of Max's art!! Love the stationary with his finger prints!!

And close ups of Emery's goodies!! Love everything!!
But definitely the stationary!! Just so cute to add their sweet little prints!!
Such a FUN event!! We are so BLESSED to be a part of such a wonderful, loving and caring school!! I just can't say enough about St. Paul!! Thank you to all the teachers and staff for LOVING on my babies!! Melts my heart!!

First part of the week...

Kids all dressed and ready for school on Monday!! It has now become a tradition to take a picture in front of the tree before we head out to school...
And both of them had to have their "blankies" along for the picture. Mondays are always a little slow moving....
But the kids sure do look cute!!!
Emery has been LOVING this Elmo ornament!! It sings Jingle Bells so we hear it quite a few times a day ;)
On Tuesday, Emery and I did LOTS of errands!! Finishing up last minute gifts ideas, teacher gifts, kids parties, etc. We were on the go from the time we dropped Max off till the time we picked him up!!
On Wednesday I got the pleasure of watching my friend Tracy's girls. Well 3 of her 4. Emery and Crawford are like two peas and a pod. They were inseparable all day!!
We played upstairs for a while...then ventured downstairs to have a snack and a show!!
Sweet friends!!!
Then we turned the kitchen table into a tent and had a campout!! I gave all the kids flashlights and Max was reading to them all out the Bible!! So cute!! This didn't last long...they were all over destroying the house and having a great time!! I brought them all back together to make cookies though!! We had such a fun fun day!!
And to just be completely random....Here is the adorable nativity scene I got from Shepherd's Haven. It is a group of mentally handicapped adults that come together each day and work on projects such as these. LOVE it!!
