Before I left...

These pictures were actually taken a few days before I left for my Faithwalk. This was taken Tuesday morning before we took Max to school. Just thought it was a cute pic of Em...
At Max's soccer practice....I decided to run through Sonic and get a cup of ice for Em. It only lasted about 15 minutes but at least she sat for a little bit. I ended up chasing her around the rest of practice :)
Max figured out how to sit on his ball while Coach Grant is talking to them...Ha! The boys think they are so cool doing it too! Love it!
Emery even shared her ice with Maggie!! Such a SWEET girl! She really is a good sharer for a 19 month old!
All the kiddos listening so close to Coach Grant!!

GOAL!!! Yay Max!!
On Wednesday Max and I had to run some errands before I left the next day. We ran into Target and I let him pick out a few snacks and movies since Mommy was going away for a few days....I know....I am such a sucker....but hey this is the FIRST time I have EVER been away from my kids for more than one night. After our errands we made a pit stop at Chuckie Cheese for a little fun before we had to go and get Emery from school! We had some great Mommy and Max time!!!

On Thursday I ended up cleaning the house and getting everything in order for my Faithwalk while Max was at school. I squeezed in a visit to the Peds Office for Emery because she was having some green eye drainage...Dr. C started her on Suprax as she said Em had a bacterial sinus infection :( YUCK! Thankfully we caught it before it got out of hand. Then I also squeezed in a visit to the eye doctor since Emery decided to break my glasses in half a few days ago. Luckily, they got me in and out quick since I had Em with me. I picked out some frames very similar to what I already had just to be quick and easy. Then it was time to go get Max from school. We headed home to do naptime so I could finish packing. But low and behold Emery WOULD NOT nap...UGH!! This little girl has not been napping off and on for a few weeks now and it is so completly frustrating. I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of. I am def hopeing that this is just a phase....So, since I still had to go and pick up my glasses I decided to just grab her up and go. Max, Em and I headed up to Eyemasters and wouldn't you know when I went to pick up my glasses there was a CRACK in them!! Ummmm HELLO...these are BRAND NEW!! The lady told me I could come back in an hour and get a new pair (okay seriously who wants to drag two kids back to the mall in an hour) but it ended up that they didn't have any more lenses so it would be 2 weeks before they could get more in...Thankfully, she let me take the cracked ones with me so I wouldn't be blind for my Faithwalk...

Sadly...I spent the last 2 hrs grabbing things together and trying to squeeze in some playtime with the kids. At one point I even broke down and told Craig I wasn't going...Ha! I just didn't think I could really be away from my kids for 3 WHOLE days let along give up all control (for those who know me you KNOW this was a challenge for me)!! Little did I know that the devil was just trying to get me down!! He threw all kinds of obstacles in my way just hours before it was time to go on my Faithwalk. However, GOD had planned this time for me to go...so I went and it all worked out and it was an AMAZING experience!! More on that later....
Don't you just LOVE the picture above of Max sleeping with Emery's baby....on Wed night before I left Max insisted that "emery" aka baby wanted to sleep with him. He read to her and sang to her and even tucked her in. It was the sweetest and cutest thing EVER....even if Daddy didn't really like it too much ;)

This past week...

Took some pictures of the kids in their new outfits before going to school on Monday. You know just in case Emery decides to ruin hers like she likes to do sometimes ;)

And since I captured a few cute ones I couldn't help but share them...

Basketball...basketball...basketball....Max may just be passing his obsession down to Emery! LOL

After I picked the kids up from school we decided to have a snack and play outside!! Soaking up some more beautiful weather!!

Oh...and on the way home we stopped by Sonic to get a slush for 50 cents during happy hour!! Can't beat that price!!

Then I gave the kids some (no drip) bubbles I had picked up for them a while back on clearance at Target.

I have to say they turned out to be quite a HIT!

Emery LOVED them...she was actually so good about staying in the yard or sitting the entire time we were outside!!! (just for your info...Emery likes to run off down the sidewalk...into the street..you name it...)

But NOT today!! "bubbubs" were way more fun than running off!!

Got LOTS of sweet pictures of her with the bubbles that day!!

On Tuesday Max woke ready for his FIRST soccer practice!! He wanted to put on his "uniform" right away. LOL The funny thing is my friend Candice got these shorts and shirt for her son Noah at Target a while back. She took a picture of him in it and sent it to us so Max thought that was their soccer uniform!! Ba ha ha ha And yes my kids are having a picnic breakfast in front of the t.v. I will be the first admit I use their breakfast time to get their stuff ready for school ;)

After we dropped Max at school Emery and I came home and had some fun play time together!!

She was seriously hamming it up for the camera!! I ADORE this picture below!! One of my favorites of her!!

On Wednesday we got up and took Emery to school. I had a dreaded OBGYN appointment. And NO I AM NOT PREGNANT!!! LOL Poor Max had to go with me to this appointment and he did so well!! I was so PROUD of him. He hid in the little curtain area in the room so he didn't have to see anything. After the appointment we met up with our friends Amy and Cooper to see The Lorax!!! It was a GREAT movie! I wish I would have had my camera to get a few pics of the boys together! They were so cute when they saw each other for the first time. They ran up and hugged each other! It was like they hadn't seen each other in months!
After the movie we headed to get Emery. Then we headed home to play play play!!

I didn't get any pics on Thursday but Max had school and Emery had another ortho appointment. Everything checked out good for the most part. However, they want to see her back in 3 months to check the knot that is still on her foot. Dr. Warner said he was just a little concerned that the knot hadn't gone away yet. If for some reason it is still there in 3 months then he wants to reevaluate what could be going on with her foot. Emery and I ran some errands and then headed to pick up Max. Had naps, played outside, and then had dinner. At 5:45 we dropped Craig off at the church for his Faithwalk retreat. We said our goodbyes and then to cheer the kids up we went to the park for a while.
On Friday we woke up and headed to Howards Donuts for breakfast! Emery threw an ever loving fit to sit in in a BIG chair instead of the wooden high chair. Guess you can tell who won...LOL
Then we went over to the mall to just grab some soaps at Bath and Body Works. Of course we ended up in the play area for a little while.
Until about 30 people showed up with their kids. LOL

All it took was one ride to bribe my kids to leave. Ba ha ha ha! I am such a sucker....
But to be honest I was just trying to find fun things to do to keep us busy. Craig was gone until Sunday at 4 and he couldn't take a phone so Thur through Sun without talking or even texting was a LONG time to go without any communication! We ended up doing lots of fun things on Friday and then Saturday I ended up with 2 fussy kids that missed their Daddy along with one cranky Momma that missed Daddy too! LOL Needless to say Sunday when Daddy got home he was overcome with three people jumping on him! We were so glad to have him home!! God is so GOOD!!

Max's FIRST Soccer Practice!

Max's FIRST Soccer Practice was this Tuesday night at Arlington Rec Park. He will have practice every Tues night from 6-7pm and then games on Saturdays starting March 31st for 8 weeks!

Max was so EXCITED all day!! He woke up wanting to go to soccer instead of school! LOL Pictured above are all his soccer goodies!! We went to Dicks sporting goods to get the ball (size 3) and water bottle. Both blue of course! Got the soccer/shin guards all in one at Walmart. And bought the cleats off a friend of mine. When I brought them home to try on Max he became slightly obsessed with them since they had blue on them...so glad they actually fit because there would have been a small battle in trying to get them away from him! 6 o clock couldn't come soon enough! We had our practice at field D! You can't tell by his face but he was super excited!! I think he is just OVER the camera being in his face all the time. LOL

Max and Noah were trying out the goal before the practice got started!

And I would have to say that the two of them are pretty good little soccer players!! Not that I am partial or anything....

Emery wanted in on the action too! We brought her a ball to play with.

And practiced started!! Mr. Grant Paule is the kids coach.

He is a super nice guy! His daughter is actually on the team. The little girl in the blue shorts holding the pink soccer ball. Can't remember her name...

I am not sure how much the kids were actually listening...

Max is showing Noah his cleats here...

Sweet boys!

High fives to start the practice off...Mr. Grant was saying we are going to have a GREAT year!

Emery grabbed our things and was telling us bye bye! I guess she was ready to leave already....

until she figured out Max's water bottle....then all she wanted to to was drink out of it and get the ice!

Max picked up on the dribbling thing right away!! So proud of him!

Love this pic of Noah!!

Max and Noah were stationed across each other to kick the ball and learn how to stop the ball!

They did a GREAT job!!

Watching the other teammates dribble to the goal and kick it in!

Noah made a GOAL!

And then Max made one too!

Being super silly!

I have to say the FIRST practice was a success! The boys had a GREAT time and Max did not want it to end! He is already looking forward to next week. Let the countdown begin!!
