FUN at Shelby Farms!!!

Last Thursday we went out to Shelby Farms with Amy and Cooper!

It was such a BEAUTIFUL day!

We had a picnic lunch! It was very YUMMY!

Then we played with bubbles!!!

Max did not want to share so Cooper was running after him trying to get the bubbles! So cute (the pic...not that Max wouldn't share....lol)

After a complete meltdown from Max....and I am talking a HUGE meltdown...(lets just say I was glad we were out in the middle of nowhere)...I took the bubbles away from him and you would have thought I broke off his arm.....anyways.....we headed to feed the ducks!!!

The only thing that made him happy for the moment was holding the loaf of bread....

I just loved that Cooper would throw the entire piece of bread in the lake! Too funny!

Our sweet boys are just growing up SO FAST!!! How cute are they together feeding the ducks!

We kept Max from jumping in the lake quite a few times....that boy loves the water "wa wa"!

After another meltdown because we were leaving the ducks....but actually he fell and scraped his nose on a PVC pipe in the grown and his nose was pouring out blood....i just thought he was having a meltdown....oops!!! We got that cleaned up and headed to the swings!!!

We had a good time swinging!

Thanks Amy for such a GREAT idea! We had a good time even if we had A LOT of tears!!! LOL! Can't wait to do it again another time!!!

Shepherd's Bday Party!

Another belated post....

We went to Shepherd's 2nd Birthday on March 14th at the Little Gym! It was a BLAST!!! This was really Max's first bday party to go to....well old enough to know what it was....and for one of his friends....

They started off playing with the giant parachute. They sang Happy Birthday to Shepherd and played several different games and songs with the kids!

They did some other stuff too but Max was off for some free time of his own! He loves these monkey bars!!!

Not sure what this is called....but Cooper and Max had a good time playing on them!!

The boys even had fun on the balance beam!

Who am I kidding.....I don't think there were any tears at this party....nothing but FUN!

They blew up the big bouncy walk way! The kids were all over that!

Max even pulled his daddy onto it!

Then it was time to eat BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!! Check out that AWESOME cake made my friend AMY STEIN!!! She did such an AMAZING job! I wish I had close up pics! This picture does not show how truly talented she is!!!!

We sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Then the kiddos got cake and ice cream!!!! Yay!!!

The past few weeks....

We have been having lots of fun these past few weeks! I hope to be feeling better soon so I can keep up with my posts....

Went to the zoo with some girls from work and all the boys! There was 4 mommies and 6 boys under the age of 5!! It was a BLAST!!! I didn't take too many pictures because Max wasn't in the best of moods this day.....

Went back to the gym with our dear friends Monica, her son Shepherd and baby girl Gracie Belle, and Amy and her son Cooper!!!

The boys all had fun making a fort.

We headed to McDonald's after the gym....

Max and Cooper are just the best of buds! They crack me up when I watch how they play together!

They love each other so much!

I mean don't these pics just make you laugh! They are already beating up on each other at 20 months!! LOL!

This is Max eating his Breakfast out of his daddy's cowboys tin bucket. He insisted on this being his "bowl" for his cereal!

What a silly little boy!!!!

He just sat in the floor and ate his cereal until it was "all done"!

Here is Max with Luka (not sure on spelling) sorry Amy....We got to babysit him while his parentals (Amy and Todd) were out of town! He was such a GOOD boy! Max had a lot of fun having a dog around! He even shared his "B" with Luka!!!

20 months AND......

We are happy to announce to everyone that

MAX IS GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER!!!!

I couldn't believe for the first time in months he actually sat in his chair and smiled for us to take pictures!!!

How cute is this sweet little boy! I just know he is going to be such a GREAT big brother!

We are officially 14 weeks pregnant! Our due date is Sept 10th. It has been a little crazy so far. I had some complications early on and have had 3 ultrasounds already! The baby is doing great and things are going well now! We are so very excited to know that we will be adding to our family very soon! So the secret is out!!! YEA! Now if you must know the blog has not gotten much attention because I have been sleeping when Max sleeps and I go to bed right after Max every night! LOL! I have had quite a bit of nausea this time around so praying that that will be over soon! Please just keep us in your prayers! We pray for the baby every day and know that God is watching over this little one as he creates him or her! We are truly blessed!!

So back to Max!!! He is actually 20 1/2 months old already!!!! Where has the time gone! I weighed him today and he is almost 28lbs!!! Guess we are eating too many jelly beans!! HA! He is still about 33 inches.

He is wearing some 12-18 months stuff but mostly 18-24month for the length. He is still is size 6 1/2-7 shoe and wears size 4 diaper.

He is still getting into everything but is a pretty good listener when you tell him NO!

He LOVES to be outside!

Still gets up between 7-8am and goes down for a nap around 1pm. A regular nap is about 2hrs but some days less or more depending on how much sleep he got the night before.

He is saying NO all the time...typical toddler! LOL! Of course his new thing is he says "NO WAY" I laughed for a few days but now......

He is talking all the time! Our favorite words...."nack" (snack), "wa wa" (water), "awww men" (aw man), "peez" (please), "tank to" (thank you), "miss" (mess) and many more....I could go on and on!!

Starting to put a lot of words together. Like "aw done mama" (all done momma), "up peez" (up please). Just crazy how much they change day to day!

He LOVES to ask for the keys and go play in our cars and especially daddy's truck! And lets just say it is a complete meltdown when it is time to get out!!!

He knows pretty much all his shapes! He just loves learning about them. He knows star, heart, circle, oval, rectangle, square, triangle, trapezoid, the pentagon, hexagon etc are all octagon or he says "octgon"! When we are out he will point to stuff and say circle or oval. Guess those are his two favorites. I will have to get on tape how he says circle and oval it is quite hilarious!

He knows a lot of his animals and the sounds they make!

Still LOVES books!!! He will sit in your lap for a long time and read with you. He even likes the find and seek books.

He still likes ELMO but not sure he is obsessed like he was a few months ago. He likes to watch other things now too.

Eating habits....well....he is a typical toddler....he eats good one day and not the next. His favorite foods are waffles, spaghetti, and fruit.....oh and I have to mention JELLY BEANS! The boy is obsessed with "beans"!!!

He likes to pull you around by your finger and take you wherever he wants to go. I must say it is quite cute! He even pulls you down by your finger if he wants you to sit next to him somewhere!

He knows who he is! He will point to himself and say MAX!

Overall, he really is a great little boy! For the most part we have good days! I have been very blessed how good he has been these last 8-9 wks while I have been feeling so yucky!

GOD IS SO GOOD!

Daddy's shoes...

First time Max actually put Craig's shoes on and tried walking around the house! I must say he looked pretty adorable!

He was so proud of himself! He was checking himself out in the stove if you can't tell. LOL!

He sat down thinking he could figure out how to tie them....lol!

Maybe it will work if I put it back on my foot.....

So serious....

And he said forget that....
