14 months!

These are the pictures I was getting at first....Max's back side! Ha! My little boy is SO BUSY!

Look at that sweet little boy! Just love him to pieces!!!

Doesn't he just look so grown up with his "big" boy haircut?!

So our little man is now 14 months old!

Max's new words: off (he likes to turn the lights off when we leave a room), bubble, baby, night night (sounds like nigh nigh), hannah, paw (for grandpa), he will really copy almost any word you say but he doesn't use them all the time

New things he is doing: Still getting into everything!

Wants to turn the light switches on and off.

Working with some flash cards: he knows which one is the baby, teddy bear, dog, and ball. He will go and get them out of the stack or he will point to them.

We are learning body parts: He knows head and nose very good. Kind of knows ears and eyes. We are working on these. I love when he points to his nose he sticks his finger up his nose! Ha!

He is really into the sprinkler. Not necessarily getting wet by it but playing with it while it is sitting out. He is very curious I guess.

He is really obsessed with his "b" (blankie) and pacifier lately. His buddy Hannah showed him how to get it out of his crib so now he goes and gets them and wants them ALL day! We are trying to keep it only for naptime and bedtime but I am not always successful!
He can now reach books on his bookshelf in his room and he goes and gets them all day and brings them to you to read. It is so sweet how much he LOVES books.
He is really starting to do some independent play. He will take his little cars and trucks and push them around and make car noises! So adorable I must say! I tried to video this the other day but he gets camera shy....ha!
We have gone to ONE nap! He gets up about 7:30 to 8, naps around 12 (naptime lenght varies but it has been only about hr and half), and bedtime is about 8:30! I can't believe he has already dropped his morning nap! He is REALLY growing up!

Max's 1st Haircut!!!

We had Max's first haircut yesterday! He looks like such a BIG boy now! I just can't believe how different he looks! He was such a good boy too! We tried to put him on the booster seat and he wasn't having that so he ended up in my lap. We didn't even try the apron because Robin (the hair stylist) said that they do better without an apron....so we ended up with hair ALL over Max! But he did good overall. He would not stay very still until we gave him the water bottle to spray things with.
He didn't really like Robin spraying his hair with water.

Look at him being still...well for a second anyways! Love how he is looking up at her like what are you doing!?

Sweet little boy!

And now we have the spray bottle!

No more curls...boo hoo hoo! I wanted to keep the curls but daddy said NO! Boo hoo hoo!
LOOK AT OUR BIG BOY!

So he wouldn't look right at the camera. I will try and get some good pictures of it soon. Max isn't the easiest kid to photograph these days....he is WAY TOO BUSY!!!

Fun times with the water hose!

This past Friday Max and Hannah had a lot of fun playing outside with the water hose! Max had actually never played with the water hose before and since he LOVES water he had a good ole time!
How cute do they look in their little diapers?!

They play so well together....most of the time! Ha!

Hannah was telling Max this is how you do it! She was probably thinking don't boys know anything! Ugh!

Little Hannah filling up the water pitcher! Just so adorable!

Max took the water pitcher and ran off with it! Hannah was saying COME BACK HERE! NOW!

She wasn't taking NO for an answer. She got that pitcher back!

Max gives in pretty easy......as you can see!

On to the water table!

Found the sand bucket to fill up with water!

I LOVE this pic! I just think they look so adorable both squatting together!

Okay so this was one moment that they weren't playing so nice. Max DID NOT want Hannah to take the bucket from him......

We quickly changed the mood by giving them the water pitcher....

And there goes Max again stealing the water pitcher!

At this point I went into the house and got another pitcher so they would each have one!

Here they were having a contest to see who could yell dada the loudest.....by the looks of it I think Max won! Hannah even looks scared! HA!
I finally got one picture of them looking at me! They were too busy and having too much fun to smile for the camera!
What a fun time with the water hose!!!!

While I was in the shower....

So my lil man was tearing up toilet paper while I was in the shower the other day! He sat on the floor my entire shower pulling the paper off the roll and tearing some of the pieces into tiny little pieces! What a mess! But doesn't he look so cute! Ha! I got a good laugh from this! Thank goodness he hasn't done it daily!

Loving CORN!

Max is LOVING him some corn on the cob! Just thought these pictures were too cute not to share!

Latest Projects!

Here are some of my latest projects! I can honestly say I am loving my embroidery machine and having a lot of fun doing all the different things!
Monogrammed these lunch boxes for a friend of mine. I will never monogram a lunch box again. They were very difficult to do and I think I messed up my machine in the process of doing these. Oops! I am hoping to get into the shop this week and get it working right again soon! At least the lunch boxes turned out cute!

This was my first attempt at making a line dresses! They turned out good and they were extremely easy to make! I made these for a friend of mines twin girls! I can't wait to see pictures of them in the dresses!

Made this cup for a lady at my husband's work! I just love making the cups! There are so many fabrics, thread and designs you can do!
Finished product!
Made these next two shirts for a friend of mines little boy. The mom is a TN fan and the dad is a AL fan! How funny?! So needless to say they need to support both teams here!

I personally LOVE the TN one! But then again I am a little partial since that is where I went to school! I am sure I will be making one of these for Max!

Like I said....he gets into EVERYTHING!

While I was taking a shower....this is what my son was getting into.....
He was throwing them out one by one and saying ugh! So funny!

Check out the sweet and innocent look....

Just a little mess to clean up.....that's all!

At least he had fun while I was in the shower!
