Gingerbread House Fun!

We decorated a gingerbread house this past week with our dear friends Amy and Cooper! My brother was in town so he was there to share in the festivities!
Here is gingerbread house before the boys attacked it!
Max started off just eating the candy....LOL!

It took Cooper a minute to get into it! We think he was scared of my brother.....ha! Max was steadily eating the candy!

My brother put icing on candies and handed them to Max. He put them on the house and then we would clap for him after he did it!

Max caught on really fast! He was clapping for himself too! SO CUTE!
One for me....

And one for the house....

And of course we have to clap for ourselves!!!!

Cooper liked sitting on the table better!

Cooper caught on really fast too! After he got used to my brother being there!

Look at those cute little boys!

Watching so intently as my brother showed them how to put candy on the side of the house!

And here they go.....

Putting on the peppermints!

Clapping for themselves! It really was so fun to watch the boys do this! They really go into it!
Love this picture of Cooper! SO SERIOUS!

That is one COOL dude!

The boys were so PROUD of themselves! And of course their mommies were so proud too!

Cooper and Max's FIRST gingerbread house! I think it turned out pretty stinking cute! Not bad for two almost 18 month old little boys!

Have I mentioned how much I just LOVE all the Christmas FUN!

Enchanted Forest!

We went to the Enchanted Forest today at The Pink Palace! My brother, Amy, Cooper, Max and I all went together! We had a great time! There was like 2000 kids on field trips but it was still fun!

A couple of trees! We took a picture of the Memphis tree for daddy! GO TIGERS!

This was the start of the exhibit and Max's favorite! He just loved these little mice!

We just thought they were going to stay in strollers! LOL!

Max helped himself to some snow! Oops! I don't think we are suppose to do that.....

I just loved all the little scenes!

Max had to go check out the reindeer after Cooper! They shook his antlers like they were shaking his hand! Too cute!

The boys were oohing and awing here! I

Max and Cooper loved the train! Cooper kept saying choo choo!

Oh boy something to run back and forth over!

Just thought this was cute! Max found him a friend!

There were all kinds of gingerbread houses and things made out of gingerbread!

Back to Max's favorite!

The funny thing is this wasn't even the best thing in there! LOL!

Just love this time of year! So many great activities to do with the kiddos!

Alpine Village!

Friday night Craig, Max, Nana, Grandpa, and I went to Alpine Village!

My sweet boys walking in! Max was in awe!

There are many different little stations! This was the candy cane station! Max was not quite sure about all of it at first!

Max and I made a cross ornament for the tree!

At this station Max got to help decorate the tree by picking out an ornament to put on the tree. He LOVED this one. He kept running back to this station.

A little "nack" time!

On our way to the north pole.....

Max was looking for his package from Santa.......

He looks like "what?" I didn't do anything.....

We walked in to see Santa and Max was like NO WAY! We did get him to give him a high five!

Max warmed up quickly this time! He let Santa put the bracelet on his arm!

He kept saying bye then running back in to give Santa the bracelet back. Too cute!

Our little angel.....well most of the time.....

One of Max's favorite shops! MORE SPRINKLES!!!!

Don't worry he was under close supervision! There was no throwing the sprinkles back here! LOL!

Got some reindeer food for the lawn on Christmas eve! Max thought it was something for him to eat! LOL!

And here was Max's all time FAVORITE! The play snow!!!!

"WOW" is what he kept saying!

Fun times playing in the snow! I can't wait to see what Max will do this year in REAL snow!

This sweet little man kept having the kids bring him snow, throw snow on him....whatever, he was such a good spirit!

Off to the book shop! Where Max got to pick out a book to take home! Notice my child picked up a book that was in Spanish! Too funny! We picked a different one to take home with us!

A little horsey time! Grandpa was a nervous wreck the entire time. He would not leave Max's side!

The toy shop!

Max and Daddy made a toy top!

The lady gave Max the mallet to help make the toy! Boy was that a BIG MISTAKE! He started hitting the table with it VERY HARD! Everyone was laughing!

The candy shop!

There was like 5 or 6 buckets to get a piece of candy. Max picked a sucker out of each one! Guess he is a sucker boy!

After this we went and saw a live nativity that was pretty amazing! It was wonderful to see Max in awe over baby Jesus! Over all we had a really GREAT time! It is truly fun to see Christmas through the eyes of a 17 month old! Our children really bring back the spirit of Christmas! Can't wait for many more fun Christmas memories this year will bring!
