St Louis Day 3

Day 3 and our final day in St. Louis was spent at the City Museum!! Oh my goodness!! This place is AMAZING!! The few pictures I got doesn't even do it justice!! I didn't want to carry a camera around so I just took my phone in for pics!

The rooftop of the place! Seriously so cool!! A old bus over hanging the building!! There was no map of the place you were just to walk around and explore. How exciting and fun all at the same time!
There were slides and all kinds of things to climb on everywhere. On the roof top Em and I went on the Ferris Wheel. We survived but I am not sure I would EVER get back on that thing again. It has been there since the 1950s and I have to say it was just slightly scary ;)

A little view from WAY up top! This was our way of getting a family photo on our trip. LOL
Like I said slides and tunnels....climbing galore! Craig and I tried to do as much as we could with the kids. This slide was a one time deal for me. I barely made it through the tiny hole!! But so worth it ONE time ;)
One of the many ball pits! They had an area for 6 and under that the kids had fun in for some time!

I have no idea what this area would be called. But most of it looked like skate boarding ramps and such. Em was so FEARLESS! She went to the top and just dropped down over and over again!

Seriously this place was a GIGANTIC kids playground paradise!
Little train ride for the kids!

Some more outdoor tunnels, climbing things and slides. SO MUCH FUN!

This was our favorite slide that all of us could go down together. We went down this one a few times ;)
Like I said I only grabbed a few pictures. We were there for like 5 or 6 hours and we didn't even see ALL of the place. We all had a GREAT time. A definite place to see and do while in St. Louis! We will be back!!
Afterwards we went back to the hotel for a little rest time. Then out to dinner to a local Mexican fave. I can't remember the name of it but it was pretty good. We just took it easy the rest of the night playing some card games and just hanging out.
Sunday morning we just got up when we got up....ate some breakfast and got on the road back home! It was a MUCH NEEDED family trip!! We had the BEST time!! Look forward to spontaneous fun family trips in the future! Feeling so BLESSED!

St Louis Day 2

Our second day in St. Louis we headed to Grant's Farm!! It was all decked out for Halloween which made the experience so much more FUN!!

Emery wasn't really into picture taking that morning....She wasn't so sure about all the "scary" decorations that were everywhere.

Love my babies!!
We got on the tram to ride around and look at the animals rooming around!

Swans! They were so pretty!!!

Mr. Grants home back in the day!!

ugh!! It started getting STINKY!!!

Here's why! Cows!! LOL
Some of them were so close you could almost reach out and touch them!!
Made it to the farm!! Such a beautiful place!!

Our first stop was feeding the goats! They gave you little bottles of milk to feed them. We were told by some people in line that the goats will jump on you and knock you down for the milk. If you look close in the pic below you can see a kid laying on the ground! We decided to stay OUTSIDE of the fence and feed the goats! So glad we did!! Even on the outside they were pretty aggressive!
It was so fun to feed them even if they were crazy about that milk!!
Max was ALL about the decorations! He wanted his picture made with everything! Love this one below! He was acting scared!! Ha!
Emery wanted a picture with the witch! She is ALL about some black cats and witches this year!
Silly boy!!
We went to a really COOL bird show! Notice the parrot below is on ROLLER SKATES!

And some of these birds were so CLOSE to us!! So neat!!
Learned a few things about birds that day!!

We went to the elephant show! I had no idea how SMART elephants are!! Below he is walking on his "balance beam"!
Showing his teeth and the lady is throwing him a carrot!

Snow cones!! They had a little punch card for the kids for $5 bucks. It included two goat feedings, a snow cone and a carousel ride! Great deal!! Especially since all it was to get in was $12 bucks to park! It was a rather inexpensive day of fun!!

Feeding the Llamas!! They were so friendly!! Max and Emery were FULL of giggles while we were doing this! Love it!

Emery's favorite part of the day! This girl LOVES her some carousel rides!!
Little Ms Giggle box!!
Grabbed a snack on the way out to go see the Clydesdales! Homemade chips!! They were DELICIOUS!!

Oh my...the Clydesdales were so BEAUTIFUL and so BIG!!
We ended up staying at the farm for 4-5 hours! I think we got to see everything! Then we headed back to the hotel to get rest a little and get changed to head back out for some fun! We went out to the mall in St. Louis to take Emery to the American Girl store!! Her FIRST time!!
She was just a little EXCITED!! So sweet!
Baby Isabella went along with us! Kids were in awe of the store!!

Emery wanted EVERYTHING!! But she finally decided on the little bitty baby doctor kit she is playing with above ;)
She had a BLAST playing with all the toys and DID NOT want to leave!! Lots of things added to her Christmas list when we left out of there!
We walked around the mall for a while and had to hit some sports stores for Max. He didn't really find anything he wanted so we opted to run by Target on the way home. Max got the Angry Birds race track he has been wanting. Score! Two happy kiddos ;) Back to the hotel for more COOKIES and milk! Oh yes mam we took full advantage each night of our trip. And we met some really nice families that had small kids the night before so each night the kids would play and hang out while we had our treat! Such a blessing!! Afterwards we headed up to the room to get a little play on with our new toys! All in all a WONDERFUL day jammed packed of FUN!
