Max's 4th Birthday Party!!

Saturday June 23rd we celebrated Max's 4th Birthday Party at Pump It Up!!

It was from 9:30 to 11:30!!

Max woke up so EXCITED!!! It was so neat to see how into his birthday party he was this year!! We had a count down to his party going on the calendar so each day he would tell us "it's ____ many days till my birthday party!!" 

Had to get a few shots of the "birthday boy" in his chair being all silly!!! Emery wanted in on the fun too!!

We got to Pump It Up about 15 min early and this was in the the entry way!! Max's present box!! He noticed right away that his name was on it!! Yay!!

They told us we needed to watch an instructional video before the party started and I was pleasantly surprised at how attentive my two were!! Too funny!!

Then it was GO time!! The kids took off!! Max and I actually got a few minutes with the room alone before some of his friends arrived!!

Emery went up and down this slide ALL by herself after Craig and I went with her one time each!! Such a BIG girl!!

They told me to come check out the party room and make sure I liked how they set it up!! Seriously this place was AWESOME!! You have two people that help with the bounce room and two people that help with your party room!! I just got to run around and take pictures and play!! So much FUN!!

As the kids got done eating they all piled in around him to watch him open his presents!! So cute!!

The older sliblings that were there actually read Max his birthday cards!! Too cute!! A big thanks to Julia, Emerson, and Ella Kate!! 

Max got his FIRST super hero!!! He kept calling Iron Man...a red power ranger!! I don't even think he knows what a power ranger is either...ba ha ha ha ha!!

We had a great turn out and want to say THANK YOU to all the friends and family that made it!! Max had a WONDERFUL birthday party thanks to all of you!!

Honestly felted truly blessed being surrounded by such great friends and family to celebrate 4 AMAZING years of Max's life!! God is GOOD!!

Catching Up and Iphone Dump!!

So..so so behind on the blog..just to catch us up...Emery and I ran up to ToysRus to get Laney's birthday present on Friday night (june 15th). Emery was having a BLAST with Mickey!!

She was just content sitting with him and talking to him! It was so cute!! Thank goodness for my iphone because I was able to capture a few pictures and a little video!! 

Saturday morning (june 16th) we met up at a place like Pump It Up in Millington for Laney's birthday party!!

The kids had a GREAT time!! Emery even LOVED the slides!!

Linley loved being Emery's little momma!! She was carrying her around everywhere!! It was so cute!!

My crazy child who likes to POTTY in her bed!!! Seriously I am not sure what to do with her!! She takes her bloomers and diaper off and went to bed naked!! LOL She didn't actually potty in her bed this time but she has in the past...if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know!!

On Tuesday (June 19th) we got invited to Germantown Rec to celebrate our dear friend Coopers 4th birthday!! 

It was a beautiful day and the place was really a lot of fun!!

Love this pic of the boys eating lunch and talking!! Max was telling Cooper that those Doritos were his favorite chips and Cooper asked "I am your favorite?" and Max said "Oh yea!! You are my favorite friend" So cute!!

We had such a great day with them at the waterpark/pool!! Can't wait to go back and do it again!!

When we got home I just knew the kids were going to PASS out!! But low and behold Emery would not nap and neither would Max!! BOO!!! So I decided to start tackling a big project!! Moving the playroom upstairs...this was the MESS in the dining room! We lived with it for a few days all over the place and if you know me you know that it could have been a stressful event but I didn't really care at all!! I was so PROUD of myself!! Tuesday night I tackled painting kilz on the chalkboard and I borrowed my mom's carpet cleaner and got the carpet cleaned in there too!

Wednesday morning I was up at 5:30 am painting over the kilz!! It turned out great!! Can't really tell it was there unless you really stare at it!!

And I finished up cleaning out the room by emptying the closet!! That ended up in the living room since the dining room was already full of the toys that came out of the room!! Needless to say it was a COMPLETE mess everywhere as the kids enjoyed being able to see and play with EVERYTHING they have!! Do you notice anything out of sorts in the picture below (besides the crazy mess?)? LOL

We ended up getting most of the toys upstairs before heading to my old time friend Kim's house to swim with her girls Madison and McKenzie!!

We had a WONDERFUL time!! It had been way to long since we visited with one another!!

Max and Emery fell in love with their rescue dog Rocco!! Emery kept calling it a kittydog!! Ha!! 

Someone got a MUCH NEEDED nap after pool time!! Thankfully because I thought I may lose it if she didn't nap for 2 days in a row ;)

Wednesday night we got a little help from our friend Robert to get the treadmill moved downstairs to go in the office (old playroom). We also moved the desk, computer stuff, and all my sewing stuff down!! Yay!! Slowly making progress!!

On Thursday we were invited to go to a friend's house and swim...however...my kids were acting HORRIBLY and I was completely EMBARRASSED!! We ended up staying about 30 min or so and left. It took about 25 min to drive home and both kids PASSED out!! WHAT?! I guess two days in the sun was enough for them because a third day was OUT OF THE QUESTION!!!

Both kids transferred to their beds!! Emery slept about 3 hrs and Max 2hrs!! It ended up being a very productive afternoon for me!! I got all the rest of the stuff upstairs moved down and got the "new" playroom some what organized!! 

On Friday we ventured across the street to have a little playdate and lunch with our friends!! However it was short and sweet as I ended up having to take Emery to the doctor for an infected bug bite!!

I think we got about an hour of play time in and then ate a very QUICK lunch and headed on to the doctors!!

Max had a BLAST wrestling with Jacob in the water and playing football!! Max DID NOT want to leave :(

After the doctor's office visit and a Target run to get antibiotics I attempted to put Emery down for a nap!! While she was fighting it (and never went to sleep) Max and I finished up his party favors. I had picked up some white card stock and a multi colored stamp pad so he could use his sports stamps to making a little tag. They turned out okay... honestly I totally forgot about the favor tags and was going to order them online but ended up making something homemade instead.

When Craig got home we headed to get Max's cake!! I have never seen him so EXCITED!! This was a PRICELESS expression!! Again thank you iphone!!

Just a quick glimse of what he saw!! Thank you Melody with Mad Lily Cakery!!! I told her that Max loved sports and he was turning 4 and this is what she came up with!! AMAZING!!! She had no idea that Max's favorite color was blue so just know how ecstatic Max was when he saw his name was BLUE!! Ha!!

We had a low key rest of the night so we were well rested for Max's Birthday Party the next morning!!!

Father's Day!!

So...I have a little catching up to do...our internet has been out for almost 2 weeks!! And A LOT has happened in those two weeks!! First up Father's Day FUN!!

I had to work Saturday night so when I got home the kids and I gave Craig his cards and his present (a new iron water hose reel that he can attach to the house). I failed to take pictures as I was slightly exhausted :(

but we did get some good ones at my moms house that night!! Yay!!

My dad (aka Pawpaw) and Max kept watching some game on T.V. hence why their eyes are looking away in some of the pictures!!

A little bribery to get both kids to sit with Craig for a picture!! We are so BLESSED to have one of the most wonderful, amazing, spiritual, caring, and LOVING Daddy in the whole world!!

A HUGE THANKS to my mom (aka Nana) for making some super yummy food for the men in our lives!!

I showed up with the bread and a ice cream cake...my mom did the kabobs, potatoes and salad!! And it was ALL super yummy!!

Then it was time for CAKE!! I got an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. It was so so good!! Definitley will have to get one again!!
