We made it! Max's 1st day at the BEACH!

May 14th! We got on the road about 9am this morning and headed to the Beach! We were in the car about 3 more hours. Max did great! He had a little coke to help him out.....just kidding! The boy just LOVES bottles!

We made it about noon! WAHOO! We pulled up to 118 Charleston Blvd to stay for a wonderful 4 days and 3 nights!

The back of the house! There were like 7 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths! Crazy huh! It was a beautiful home! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Turner for picking this place for the bridal party and family! We loved it!

The pool in the backyard. There was a gate off the backyard to walk across the street to the beach access! So awesome!

After we got to the house...we got settled...got some groceries....Max took an afternoon nap and then off to the BEACH! Max loved it! He crawled right in! The water was very calm so it was very nice for Max's first beach visit!

This was his first interaction with sand. He put it in his mouth right away! So up to room I went to get a pacy! I figured he would do it once and then stop but nooooo he wanted to eat and eat!

Just loving the Beach! He loves the water! I just can't get over how he was not scared a bit! Just crawled around. When we picked him up he was wiggling to get back down in the ocean! Guess we have a little water baby on our hands!

All in all we had a good day! We got to meet Will...Nashea's hubby! He is a really nice guy! We hung out with Nashea and her parentals! Went to dinner at a seafood restaurant called Morgan's grill! It was pretty good. Then we called it a night! The rest of the gang came in Friday!

Day 2 at the beach and Nashea and Will's Rehearsal Dinner!

May 15th! Day 2 at the Beach! We ate some yummy breakfast from Bagel Nation and then Craig, Max and I headed down to the beach early before everyone starting getting here. We had a good time just hanging out as a family! I love that Max loves the beach so much!

The water was a little more rough today but Max didn't care one bit! He still crawled right in!

He dropped his pacy to get a little taste of the sand!

He ate a little more than he meant to! He actually gagged on it! PRETTY NASTY!

We headed back to the house for a while. Ate some lunch and then baby Turner arrived with his mommy and daddy Nicole and Brad! WAHOO! It was so fun for our boys to finally meet! So they got settled and then off to beach for the boys to play together!

They were quite the pair playing on the beach! Turner did okay for a little while but then he decided he didn't like the beach too much!

Can you believe he just sits there while a wave is crashing into him! Who knew he would love the ocean so much!!!

Since we didn't stay on the beach too long...we headed to the pool! Max loved it too! He loved the little pool boat float we brought!

After the pool...we all headed in to shower and get ready for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner!

The rehearsal went well and the dinner was yummy! We headed back to the house about 9 and Max went to bed about 10! Can't believe he stayed up so late! He did take 2 good naps in his pack n play! So proud of the little guy! He did really well on the entire trip!!

Day 3 at beach and Nashea and Will's Wedding!!!

May 16th! WEDDING DAY! Wahoo! We got up this morning and had a bridal brunch at the house! We had lots of yummy foods! Chicken minis from ChickfilA, bagels from Bagel Nation, doughnuts from Dunkin Doughnuts, coffee from Starbucks, and fruit from Publix! It was ALL so good! Max was napping with daddy during the bridal brunch so when he woke up we went and had a little pool time! We didn't have time for the beach today! So sad!

Max and Turner had a big time in the pool in their little floats! I must say the pool water was pretty COLD at first! The babies were not bothered by it at all!

All the girls left to get hair done about 2pm! So we came in from the pool and got ready to head out! All the boys stayed at the house and hung out will us girls were getting beautiful! The wedding started at 6:30 so Craig got over to the place about 6! Max did great through the wedding! He was very quiet! I was so proud! Everyone kept telling us how good he was! We had a blast at the wedding reception! Played some good ole songs that we danced too! Max and I danced to ROCKY TOP of course! He loved it!

He decided to finally give in! He was the last baby standing....well there was only three of them at the wedding including Max!

We left the wedding reception at about 10pm! Max stayed asleep pretty much. We got home changed him into Pjs and then he went right back to sleep! Such a good little boy! I left my camera in the room where we were changing so my friend Nicole took a few other pictures for me at the wedding. We of course got pictures of Max and Turner in their matching outfits! I will have to post those later!

On our way home....so sad!!!

May 17th! It came WAY TOO FAST! We got us this morning about 7am and started packing up! Max got up about 7:30. While Craig was feeding him I was getting everything together. We showered, ate and had packed the car by 9:15. We started our journey home about 9:30! I was so sad to leave! We really had a great time with everyone and wish we had just a little more time to hang out!

Max was all ready for his morning nap! It didn't take long and he was off to sleep by 10!

So we just basically drove and drove and drove! It was an 11hr trip back home! We only stopped about 4 times I think. Max did great of course! We pulled up into Grandma and Grandpa Maxwell's house about 7:30pm! They had dinner on the table for us! So sweet! Thanks we really enjoyed it! Max was so HAPPY to be out of that carseat!!! Glad we made it safely home! God is good!

More projects!!!

Here are a few projects that I have been busy doing the past few weeks. I have definitely put my machine to use! I also have put my friends sewing machine to use! I hope to get my own sewing machine soon! Let me know what you think! Maybe I should start a little business someday!

Happy Mothers Day!

Ok so not such a great picture...but it is the only one I have so.....it will have to do!

Well, I have to say my 1st Mothers Day was great even if I had to work Sat night and slept most of the day Sun. I still came home to my sweet baby and husband that had gone to Howards doughnuts so we could have some yummy breakfast. Craig and Max gave me some sweet cards and I have to give Craig some credit here...he actually helped Max sign the cards for me! SO

SWEET! We got up and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Maxwell. It was very good but BUSY! So of course I felt bad because we had to rush to finish to get home so I could get to work. But all in all it was a good day! Thank you Craig and Max for making a girl feel so special! I love you both dearly! Can't imagine my life without you two!

We have a lot of fun in the tub these days! Max splashes and jumps around the entire tub. I think his absolute favorite thing is bath time. He can be completely grumpy and crying all day but when it comes to bath time he is happy! So needless to say Craig and I LOVE bath time around here!

Max turned 10 months old yesterday! He is weighing in about 20 lbs and is about 30 inches. He is really starting to look more and more like a little boy instead of a baby! SO SAD! Where does the time go!? He is really getting his little personality! He is a snuggle bug! He loves to give kisses! He is still very talkative.

New things:
* We are waving bye bye now! He first started just holding his arm in the air which was quite funny...but now he waves with his entire arm. Too cute! I have a little video clip I will post sometime.
* We are working on saying UP when he wants to be picked up. He does it every now and then.

* He is cruising the furniture really good but still not really any attempts to let go and walk on his own. He practically runs with his walker now. He is pushing all the chairs in the kitchen around and using them as walkers. He can walk just holding one hand but when you let go he immediately drops to crawling position. I know he will walk when he is ready!

* He figured out the sippy cup on Saturday April 25. He tilted that bad boy back and started drinking. I actually got a little teary eyed. However...for some reason he thinks breastmilk in the sippy cup is yucky. He actually won't swallow it. He lets it just run out of his mouth...like what is this?! We are going to work on that....hopefully that will get better in the next few weeks....
* He has a new crawl which I am calling power crawl....he puts his head down and goes really fast when he is going for something. It is quite the scene. I haven't been able to get it on video just yet....

* He figured out that he could take the blocks and put them through the hoop of his basketball goal. I came in the playroom and saw like ten blocks stacked around the goal that he kept putting in. So smart!

* One top tooth is half way in and the other three on top are poking through. Poor thing is chewing on EVERYTHING!

* Loves to be outside! We got him a wagon and a push car which he LOVES! He prefers the car over the wagon but he really enjoys both. He actually crys when he sees you go out the door and he isn't with you!

*When he hears the phone ringing he goes crawling for the phone! I can't believe he has already put those two things together. He also loves to talk on the phone.

* He is into everything....he can't really be left alone anymore!

* He is FEARLESS! For instance...he loves to be hanging upside down! He laughs and laughs!

We are:

* still in size 3 diapers*

* wearing size 6-12 months in some brands and 12 months in others*

* wearing a size 4 shoe*

* eating 4-5 to 6oz bottles*

*eating three meals and about 2 snacks everyday*

* gets up about 6:30-7am, naps 9:30-11am, naps 3-4:30pm and then bedtime around 8:30pm*

*favorite toys: walker, incrediblock, dinosaur toy, books, shape sorter, balls, basket ball goal*

*favorite foods: turkey hot dogs, turkey, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, cherries (pretty much all fruit) and Gerber cookies*

* all time favorite thing: bathtime*
