Chickfila Date Knight!!

Continuing to catch up....
Chickfil-A Mother-Son Date Knight was back April 26th. Max and I went with our dear friends Candice, Noah and Eli!!
I had Craig take a pic of us before going in. I forgot to get one of just Max and me but we got one later on at the event. So the little funny of the night...ours boys were all matchy matchy and NOT on purpose. Candice's husband Brian actually got the boys dressed and surprised her with their new shirts and ties!! So cute and oh so sweet!! I just happened to have the same type of shirt picked out for Max ;) I loved how they all coordinated!!
Craig and Emery had a little date night as well! Em was quite upset about not going with Max and me but she got over it quickly when Daddy took her to dinner and some playground fun ;)
Our itinary of the night!! Lots of FUN!!
We started off the night with a welcoming ceremony. It was a little bit on the boring side and we kind-of wished we would have skipped it and went straight to dinner. But we live and learn...
The lines to wait for food were long but before we knew it we were sitting and enjoying some yummy chicken together!! Well Max was enjoying fruit, chips and bread ;)
Then it was time to go have some FUN!! First stop was the BALLOON guy and face painting! Noah and Eli got swords painted on their faces but Max decided he didn't want to do it this time.
This nice young man made each of the boys a sword and crown of their color choice.

And then there was a little balloon sword fighting!! Max, Noah, and Eli all played so well together.

Next stop was making shields! They had tables set up with stamps, stickers and such so you could decorate your shield how you liked it!! Eli was really into it and made some really creative drawings on his. Max and Noah on the other hand were quick with theirs. They put a few stamps on them and were ready for some more sword fighting!!

My sweet little date of the night!! Mighty handsome!!
"Ahhhhh! and Hiya!!" Take that!" LOL
The boys were really getting into the "knight" thing!!

We went to a planetarium show called Bear Tales and Other Grizzlies stories. It was pretty interesting at first. It told of all the stars and consolations. Noah and Max were a little young for it so they were getting antsy. Eli thoroughly enjoyed it though which was good!
When we came out of the show were heard some FUN music and thought we would go check out the dance floor! The boys were ALL about it until we actually got on the dance floor. Then they froze up and decided they didn't want to dance after-all.

So we decided it was DESSERT time!! Chick-fil-A cookies...don't mind if I do!! They were sooooo yummy!! I think everyone gobbled them up and then it was time for....

oh yes!! MORE SWORD fighting!! It was long after this that both Max and Noah's balloon sword bit the dust.

We stood in line for one of the photo booths. They had a couple different ones set up and they would take your picture and print it out for you to take home!! Pretty cool!!
After our pics we headed to the last IMAX showing. We all wanted to see Born to be Wild. It was my FAVORITE part of the night besides being with my little man and dear friends! It was an adorable IMAX about baby monkeys and elephants being raised in the wild. The boys really enjoyed it too. Sweet little Noah didn't have a nap though and he just couldn't hang with the rest of us ;) Love this pic of Candice and her sweet baby boy!! Can you say PRICELESS!! There is just nothing like holding your little one as they fall fast asleep in your arms!
All in all a GREAT night!! So BLESSED to be able to share this night with our special friends!! Looking forward to our next Mommy-Son date KNIGHT :)
