Clown "In Training" ECS

Uh oh....I am finally done with OCT and moving into NOV!! Whoop Whoop!!
Max had his Clown Parade Make up on Friday Nov. 1st!! We met up with our friends Jodie and Brian and their kids Blake and Natalie for some dinner prior to the event. Blake and Max are in the same class at ECS. We enjoyed having dinner with them and hope to do it again soon!! The boys have become instant buddies which we are so thankful for!!
Being SILLY watching the football game!!

The Clown parade was the halftime show so we got to sit and watch the game for the entire first quarter and then head down to get ready to line up and such.
We had a BIG time sitting with all the other ECS families that night! The JK and SK class are part of the clown parade so they were all there. Our campus and Ridgelake campus were there as well so it was fun getting to meet some of those friends too!
We are TRULY BLESSED to be a part of such an AMAZING school. Every event we do we are just blown away with the friends we make, the atmosphere of the event, etc. I just can't really explain it. It is like this is where we are SUPPOSE to be....like this is our FAMILY! Like we have known these people forever! It is just so neat and I am really starting to understand now why they say once you experience it you won't worry about the financial commitment of ECS. You will just embrace it and feel so grateful for the experience!! So so TRUE!!

Ready for KICKOFF!!!
Max walked down to the front of the stands to stand with his friends! Nana was very sad and said "he isn't old enough to do that yet?!" :( Seriously....when did our little baby boy get big enough for this....sigh...
Like I mentioned earlier we headed to the Legacy center to get ready after the first quarter. This was a photo opportunity as well!! Yay!! You know I was excited ;)
I scored an ADORABLE picture of these two cuties!! Max and Blake!!
And a few of Max's friends were lining up...Left to Right
Brooke, Max, Blake, Cooper, Leah, Tatum, and Conner!!
Our friend Jodie (also the Early Childhood Director at ECS) and her son Blake!!
Max standing next to Brooke (he may or may not have a little crush on her....he told us that he liked Brooke and we asked him why...he said Mom....I just LOVE her bow!" LOL The innocence of childhood....wish we could keep it FOREVER!!

Our sweet little JK class!! Right to Left...Conner, Cooper, Leah, Brooke, Max, Riley Ann, Kaitlyn, Riley Ann, Blake, Scout, and Carter. We were missing one of our good buddies Jax who was out of town that night!

Lining up before halftime....
A little football action...just to show we did watch some of the game and cheer for our BIG BOYS!!

It's SHOWTIME!!!
The HS band did a little music for the kiddos!! So sweet!
The SK kids were dressed as clowns and the JK were clowns in training. This has been a tradition since the school started I think. I know quite a few of the alumni parents were talking about remembering when they did this back in the day ;)

Having a BIG time!!

Waving...dancing...fun times....

One of our sweet sweet teachers Ms Clay!! We just LOVE her!!

The kids really had a big time doing this!! Max thought it was so cool that they got to go on the football field!!

Afterwards we headed back to the Legacy center to have a little snack!!
Doughnuts and Cotton Candy!! Some serious SUGAR late in the night...oh goodness!! Thankfully Max only ate half of his doughnut and opted out of the cotton candy!

Nana and Pawpaw joined us for this fun event as well!! We ended up staying for most of the game and headed out with a few minutes left. The kiddos were very tired from being up late the night before.
But it was such a FUN night with our ECS family!!

Halloween Night!!

Oh how I need to get moving on this blog....if only I could find some motivation....
Yes...it is Dec 6th and I am finally posting Halloween night pics!! LOL
Our little black kitty and Woody were quite adorable if I say so myself!! When we first asked Emery what she wanted to be for Halloween she said a witch....then she changed it to Cinderella....then Ariel.....then witch....then black cat....then Cinderella....really it changed EVERYDAY!! I had a grabbed a few different costumes and then ended up taking ones back when she finally decided BLACK CAT and stuck with it for several days in a row ;)
Max was a little easier...he first wanted to be a ghost and then when I told him he would have something over his face he immediately changed and said Woody!
I mentioned this above but Craig got off early that night so we loaded up and made our first stop at Grandmother and Granddaddy Lawsons!!

Oh yea!! First stop for CANDY!!
Just because she is cute....
A simi decent family pic....
Max wanted me to take a picture on Gmother and Gdaddy's fire place!!
We got the kiddos giggling away!! So sweet!! I could just eat them up!!
We left Gmother and Gdaddy's and headed to our church's trunk or treat! Thank goodness the rain went away!!

We really enjoyed all the trunks with themes and decorations!! Duck Dynasty was a HUGE one!!

There really was a little bit of EVERYTHING!!!

Our friend Mr. Gene!!
Cookie Monster was giving out cookies of course!! Super cute!!

The kids were getting LOADED up with candy!!

Sweet little clown picture!!

More and more and MORE candy.....

Like I said there was a little of everything! The kids really were intrigued by all the different trunks and themes! It was fun to see them get so excited and run to the next one!

We grabbed some free dinner at the Trunk or Treat and then met up with our good friends to ride on the hay ride in their neighborhood! We caught the tail end of their nightly fun!! Em and Crawford just HAD to trick or treat together a little bit!!

And it gave the kids a chance to do a little door to door trick or treating!!

Em and Crawford were so cute together!!

We only did about 10 houses but it was really fun!! Such a NICE neighborhood! Everyone is so friendly!!
Silly boy!! He was missing his best bud that night but he made the most of it!!

Riding back to our van!! We did stop back by Tracy's house to get a little play action in....
and then we made our last stop of the night at Nana and Pawpaws house!!
and I apologize in advance for the so many pictures coming up but I just LOVE all the little giggles shared between my dad and Emery!! These too just LOVE each other!! So sweet!!

I have NO IDEA what these two were laughing so hard about but it was a precious moment caught on camera!!

Oh i just LOVE it!! Dad I am sure you are going to kill me when you see all these pics of you being silly....LOL (just remember I LOVE YOU and I wanted to post it for Emery to look at one day)
Back home we grabbed a quick bath and then checked out ALL our CANDY!!! These kiddos scored quite a few pieces this year!!
It was a busy but FUN night!! We def made the most of it!!
