We surprised the kids and took a much needed family trip to St. Louis during the kids fall breaks. We hopped in the van early on a Thur morning and were on our way!
The kids were PUMPED to be heading out for our trip! They were most excited about getting to stay in a HOTEL room all together! So fun!!
Emery was all upset watching Little Mermaid. She DID NOT like the sea witch. She was worried the Sea witch was going to hurt Ariel. I was loving this girls emotion and dramatic side. We had a family night recently and watched the movie for the first time with the kids. However, that night she didn't seem that bothered by this part at all. Guess her emotions got the best of her that day. She is SO MUCH like her momma! Sorry Emery you will prob not like Mommy saying that at some point in your life ;)
The trip there was quick and easy! We made it around lunch time. Grabbed a quick bite to eat and then headed to have some FUN at the children's museum there called The Magic House!
Our first stop was the FOOTBALL exhibit!! Max and Daddy had a blast learning all about Football!!
There was a lot of fun activities to do in the football exhibit too!
Seriously this museum is so FUN! They had mini versions of everything you could think of in a town. So the kids enjoyed getting to experience all of it!!
Max was the Judge and Emery was the GUILTY one!! LOL
Just making some pizzas in the cafe!
The baby nursery! This was Emery's favorite spot! It was so sweet! Just like a well baby nursery. You could make birth certificates on the computer and print them out. Change the babies clothes and diapers, give them bathes, feed them, weight them, etc. So so cute!! Em would have stayed here ALL DAY!
BUBBLE room!!!
Who doesn't like making GIGANTIC bubbles!!
St Louis Rams exhibit! Some digital football game! Didn't think I was going to get Max out of that room! Would have to say ALL the sports rooms were his faves!!
Art room! Yes please!!
There was SO much more that I didn't take pictures of. I really just tried to ENJOY our time and not worry about snapping everything possible. We spent about 5 hours there so just imagine all the fun we got into ;)
Afterwards we headed to the hotel to check in and get ready to find something good for dinner! We ended up at a cute little sports pub called Delaney's. It was a local fave. It was pretty good but the best part was the atmosphere! Back to the hotel after for some yummy cookies and milk before bed!! We LOVED our hotel in St. Louis!!
