More projects!

So here are a few more projects I have worked on the past few weeks! Lots of cuteness!!

Made these for my friend Nashea and her hubby's wedding gift! How perfect for a beach wedding! They both loved them!

I made my FIRST girl dress! This was given to a friend of mine Kristin who is due in about 6 weeks! This one was my practice dress. It turned out so cute!

Here is the real deal! I just LOVE it! I want one of the little girls that goes with this outfit! LOL! I had a great time making these outfits for baby Hailey! Can't wait to see her in them soon!

And here is what you see when you put the two together! SO ADORABLE!

Learned how to make bows from a website sweetbabybowtique.com! It walks you right through the steps to make baby bows! It was so easy and they all turned out so cute! Now baby Hailey has matching bows with her two little outfits!


Can't believe I made these sweet tiny little bows! Girls are just so much FUN!

Well....that is about it for now! Will hopefully post our trip to the Botanical Garderns friday soon. We had a great time with our friends Charity, Hannah and Hannah's Granny!

Oh forgot to put on the 11month update: Max is giving high fives and blowing kisses! He also gives kisses on command, which I LOVE!!! I have to get my kisses while I can!

Happy 11 months lil Max!

Max is 11 months old today! Just 1 month shy of his 1st birthday! I can't believe it has almost been a year since I held this sweet baby boy for the first time! He is such a wonderful joy in our lives! I never knew how GREAT these past 11 months would be! I just pray for many many more years with this precious little boy!

I was attempting to get pictures in his chair...but he was VERY ACTIVE! I gave him the bear to help but it looks like he is making out with the bear! HA!

11 month stats

Weighing in at almost 21lbs and he is almost 30 1/2inches!

Still wearing size 3 diapers only because I have about 30 left...he will be in size 4 before the week is out!

Wearing 6-12month shorts and shirts, wearing 18month one piece outfits.

Wearing size 4 shoes.

He is still taking 4 (5-6oz) bottles but we are about to switch them all to sippy cups. He took most of his morning bottle in a sippy with breakfast because he wouldn't take his bottle. So maybe he is weaning himself.....ha ha.....yeah right!

Gave him apple juice for the first time yesterday...he didn't really care for it too much. He seems to like water the best for his snacktime beverage!

His favorite foods: turkey hotdogs, fruit, mini goldfish, ritz, animal crackers, and popsicles

He sleeps: up around 6:15-7, naptime 9-11, naptime 3-4:30, bedtime 8-8:30

His favorite toys: phones (any kind), incrediblock, walker, books, shape sorter, musical instruments

His alltime favorite things: his pacifier, blankie, and bathtime (this kid LOVES water!)

He can say: mama, dada, uh-oh, bye-bye, yaya, nana, and he tries to copy anything we say, which is so adorable!

He now has 6 teeth! 4 on top and 2 on bottom!

He can walk about 5-6 steps. He started letting go of furniture yesterday. So maybe we will be walking before our 1st birthday! He still hasn't mastered standing up from the ground not holding onto anything so I think once he masters that it will be easier for him to walk everywhere.

He is into EVERYTHING! It seems like he can make ANYTHING fun to play with!

Gave Max spagetti the other night. I actually just threw it on his highchair tray and let him go to town! He loved it! We have tried spagetti before and he turned his nose up....of course it was gerber third foods....enough said! Can you believe I let my child get this messy!? We went straight to the bath afterwards of course!!! HA!

And we are off to Isle of Palms, SC!

We headed out to Isle of Palms, SC on Wed May 13th for one of my best friend Nashea's wedding! We left Memphis around noon. We stopped about every 2hrs to change a diaper and let make run around. He did very well on the car ride...well with the help of a DVD player playing baby einstein over and over again! HA! He didn't need it the entire time. I was pretty much his entertainment! Poor kid! Anyways...our last stop we changed Max over to PJs and thought we might make it the rest of the way....however...Max did not want to go to bed in the car. So, we stopped in Augusta, GA and stayed at a hotel. Once we got in the room Max was a crazy nut! He was jumping all over the bed! He was so happy to be out of the carseat....well we had been in the car for 9hrs!!! So we did not get to bed until 11:30! Silly little boy!

We made it! Max's 1st day at the BEACH!

May 14th! We got on the road about 9am this morning and headed to the Beach! We were in the car about 3 more hours. Max did great! He had a little coke to help him out.....just kidding! The boy just LOVES bottles!

We made it about noon! WAHOO! We pulled up to 118 Charleston Blvd to stay for a wonderful 4 days and 3 nights!

The back of the house! There were like 7 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths! Crazy huh! It was a beautiful home! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Turner for picking this place for the bridal party and family! We loved it!

The pool in the backyard. There was a gate off the backyard to walk across the street to the beach access! So awesome!

After we got to the house...we got settled...got some groceries....Max took an afternoon nap and then off to the BEACH! Max loved it! He crawled right in! The water was very calm so it was very nice for Max's first beach visit!

This was his first interaction with sand. He put it in his mouth right away! So up to room I went to get a pacy! I figured he would do it once and then stop but nooooo he wanted to eat and eat!

Just loving the Beach! He loves the water! I just can't get over how he was not scared a bit! Just crawled around. When we picked him up he was wiggling to get back down in the ocean! Guess we have a little water baby on our hands!

All in all we had a good day! We got to meet Will...Nashea's hubby! He is a really nice guy! We hung out with Nashea and her parentals! Went to dinner at a seafood restaurant called Morgan's grill! It was pretty good. Then we called it a night! The rest of the gang came in Friday!

Day 2 at the beach and Nashea and Will's Rehearsal Dinner!

May 15th! Day 2 at the Beach! We ate some yummy breakfast from Bagel Nation and then Craig, Max and I headed down to the beach early before everyone starting getting here. We had a good time just hanging out as a family! I love that Max loves the beach so much!

The water was a little more rough today but Max didn't care one bit! He still crawled right in!

He dropped his pacy to get a little taste of the sand!

He ate a little more than he meant to! He actually gagged on it! PRETTY NASTY!

We headed back to the house for a while. Ate some lunch and then baby Turner arrived with his mommy and daddy Nicole and Brad! WAHOO! It was so fun for our boys to finally meet! So they got settled and then off to beach for the boys to play together!

They were quite the pair playing on the beach! Turner did okay for a little while but then he decided he didn't like the beach too much!

Can you believe he just sits there while a wave is crashing into him! Who knew he would love the ocean so much!!!

More crawling! Every now and then he would dunk his head! So cute!!!

Since we didn't stay on the beach too long...we headed to the pool! Max loved it too! He loved the little pool boat float we brought!

After the pool...we all headed in to shower and get ready for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner!

The rehearsal went well and the dinner was yummy! We headed back to the house about 9 and Max went to bed about 10! Can't believe he stayed up so late! He did take 2 good naps in his pack n play! So proud of the little guy! He did really well on the entire trip!!
