Christmas at Grandmothers and Granddaddys!

We headed over to the Lawson's around 4pm to do our third Christmas of the day!! Some of the family ate and some played for a while ;)

Emery having FUN with her cousins Laney and Linley!! All the girls got new babies for Christmas so they were all playing babies together!! So precious!!

Then Ethan read the Christmas Story from Luke. The kids all sat and listened so well!!! We were so PROUD of ALL of them!!

We even had a Christmas MIRACLE!! Emery came and sat in Uncle Gregg's lap during the Christmas story reading!! We all almost fell out!! She has been scared of him for some time. I recently explained to her that Uncle Gregg was Daddy's bubba like Max is to her. Guess that helped....

Present TIME!!! Emery got a doll from Aunt Nicole, Uncle Taylor, Wes, Ethan and Samuel and Max got a Who Shook Hook game from Aunt LuLu, Uncle Gregg, Laney and Linley! We draw names so the kids get one present from an Aunt or Uncle and one present from Grandmother and Granddaddy!

Max got a football set from Grandmother and Granddaddy!! He was super EXCITED about it!!

And even MORE EXCITED about his Dallas Cowboys football to go with it!! 

Emery got a PINK piano and microphone set from Grandmother and Granddaddy!! She screamed "My piano!! and it's pink!! My fave!!" 

Uncle Gregg and Linley helped us get Emery's piano set up!!

The girls had a BLAST taking turns playing with it!!

And Max LOVED his Who Shook Hook game! We opted to keep the football goal in the box for the time being....

Time to sing to Jesus!! Grandmother brought out the birthday cake and ice cream so we could worship the KING!! So wonderful to share this with our children and family each year!!

We got home kind of late but we wanted the kids to be able to play for a little while since we had been gone all day!! Emery opted to play dress up, piano and with her babies....

Max opted to play so FOOTBALL!! We got his goal put together!! Yes this is an outside toy but for now it is being used in the playroom ;) So fun!! 

A BIG THANKS to all our family for LOVING on our babies!! We had a wonderful day filled with family and memories!! Not more to say but we are so BLESSED!! God is so GOOD to us!!

Christmas at Nana and Pawpaws!!

We got over to Nana and Pawpaw's around noon...none of us were very hungry yet so we went ahead and opened gifts first!

Max seemed so serious and taking it all in. He did LOVE his SPORTS book though!!

Opening their ornaments!! Emery got Minnie and Mickey playing Jingle Bells! Kind of neat that she actually sung Jingle Bells at her Christmas Program this year. 

Max got a BASKETBALL ornament!! And the cool thing is he started playing Basketball this year!! First game is coming up Jan. 6th!! I CANNOT wait!! This is one super excited Mommy ;)

Em opening one of her gifts from Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Jimmy (actually they are my Aunt and Uncle so not sure what they are to Em)...but anyways...Emery said "Oh Happy Birthday Jesus cake!!" So cute!! Then she proceeded to sing to Jesus!! 

Max opening up his Cowboys floor puzzle from Nana and Pawpaw!! One HAPPY boy!!

Emery screamed "Cute!!" when she opened her books!! One was a book about kitty cats!! This girl loves her some kitties!!

Max was so cute when he opened his checker set!! He gave it a big hug!! We played this A LOT while we were on vacay at the beach. They had one at the house we stayed at. Max really enjoyed it so my parents picked one up at Cracker Barrel to give him for Christmas. I would say they scored big on this one!

And they definitely scored big on Emery's Princess Castle!! Check out that face!! She has been wanting this castle for some time now!! Love it!!

And another SCORE with Jake and Neverland Pirates Ship!! 

Even Emery was EXCITED for Max!! She came over gasping!! These kids both LOVE them some Jake!!

Emery got Fisher Price Birthday cake set, some books, ornament, princess floor puzzle, Princess castle and figures, and a Fisher Price Snap and Style puppy dog-shizu!

Max got Jake Ship and figures, Hook mini ship, ornament, checkers set, Dallas floor puzzle, and Fisher Price Ice Cream Set. A few gifts were from Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Jimmy but I am not sure which ones since I didn't see tags before opening. But a BIG THANKS to them and Nana and Pawpaw for LOVING on my babies!! They LOVE everything they got and have really been playing with all of it this week!

Emery was all about helping Nana with her presents! First thing was the plate we made for her!! This became a tradition three years ago so this is plate #3!! 

Love how it turned out!! Simple and cute!! Max's hand prints are the light green and Em's are the dark green.  I had the kids with me while I was trying to do the details so I didn't do as well as I would have liked but I think the overall look is cute!

Pictures for Nana and Pawpaw from us!! It was hard to keep these a surprise. She hadn't seen the images from our photo shoot yet so each one was a surprise for them!! So fun!!

Nana LOVED her new Pandora charm from Pawpaw!! A little seahorse to remind her of our beach trips and their tropical get-aways!!

Baxter even LOVED his Christmas gift from us!!

Nana was super EXCITED about her Kindle from Pawpaw!! She even scored a router so now they can have wireless in their home!! Go Pawpaw!! Great idea!

We had a wonderful few hours at my parents house and then off to the Lawsons. So blessed to be able to spend the entire day with family!! God is so good to us!! Maybe next year we will have a lot more of the Maxwell family here too! One can hope and pray!!
