IMAX movie and Enchanted Forest!

This past Sat we ventured over to the Pink Palace of Memphis and enjoyed some Christmas festivities!!

First we saw an IMAX movie!! We saw Santa vs. Snowmen. It was a super cute movie and all of us really liked it!! Emery wasn't exactly big enough to hold the seat down...so cute how she was almost folded up inside the chair! Ha!

Popcorn from the gift shop for snack....We had no cash on us for the concession stand so we had to improvise ;)

Thankfully the kids didn't know the difference....popcorn is popcorn right?! 

Next we went upstairs to check out all the trees! This one was our FAVORITE!! And I think it was the winner too. So stinking cute!!

Emery LOVED the pink tree and of course wanted her picture taken with it. 

Then we ventured into the Enchanted Forest!! Lots of ohhs and ahhs!!!

Just a cute little set up and the money goes to support a great cause!! LeBonheur Children's Hospital!!

Checking out the trains and all the gingerbread houses on the way out!! And of course we stopped by and waved to Santa. The line was crazy long so we passed on sitting on Santa's lap today....

We had a great time today!! Now hoping to get better about doing all the fun activities...I haven't really been on it this year. Studying for a Certified Pediatric Nurse Test and this warm weather has kept me from getting into the spirit of Christmas....

More decorating....

So on Tuesday I put lights on the tree....on Thursday morning it was still standing!! Yay!! 

Got some pictures in front of it before school!! Silly girl was acting crazy for the camera!!

Oh my goodness she is a BALL of CUTENESS!!!

Max wanted some pictures too in his new shirt!!

That night we got all the ornaments out!! The kids LOVED looking through all of them. They were both all about being our little helpers!!

Max wanted to put any sports related on on the tree. I think his favorite this year was Craig's Tony Romo football player ornament!!

Emery thought they were all "coot!!"

Here are the ornaments the kids picked out this year. Em picked out the fisher price pop toy and Max picked out the football with the penguin. Then the third one is a series I started 5 years ago!! It is super cute and hope it goes on for some time!! Plan to split it between the kids one day to take for their own trees ;)

Fun night decorating the tree.....we had so much fun that this little one woke up with some SERIOUS bed head!!! LOL

Emery's PINK tree!

Since bubba had a tree...Emery wanted one too!! So we were on a mission for a PINK tree!! The girl was serious about her pink tree too!! She only wanted PINK...."my paverite color!!"

Low and behold we found one at Walmart and it was pre-lite with pink lights!! Em was pumped!!!

Then we headed over to Target to find some cute ornaments!! They had some cute ones that looked like stuffed animals, some snowflakes and....

some JINGLE BELLS!!! We tied some fun ribbon to the top of them and made them ornaments for the tree!! Em LOVED this idea!!

Needs some more ornaments but we have to start somewhere right....

My little ham!! "Mommy take my picture!!" She was posing up a storm with the tree!! Cracking me up!!

Then she starting making faces!! This girl is such a character!! Keeps me in stitches!!

Last few days...

The last few days we haven't been up to much....

On Friday we headed over to Jared's to grab some birthday presents for my mom. She has a Pandora bracelet and my dad wanted to add some charms to her bracelet. Who knew they had a kids area for the kids to play in!! I had a hard time getting them out of here!!

They had these ADORABLE bears for sell to benefit St. Jude Thanks and Giving Program!! We of course went home with one of each. Luke and Logan!! So cute and only $12!! You know you want to go and get one!!

For lunch we went out to Steak and Shake!! This is really my first time going into a restaurant alone with the kids...other than McDonalds or ChickfilA. They were really good and we had a FUN time!! They got hats, a little toy car and some coloring sheets. We stayed busy until our food came!!

Then home for naps and rest time. Em snuggling with her bear!! 

Friday night we went out to celebrate for Nana's BIRTHDAY!! We went to On the Border. The kids and I made her a heart shaped strawberry cake!! It was super yummy!!!

On Saturday we finally brought the tree in doors!! However, we didn't decorate it yet because it fell over at some point while outside in the stand. I didn't want to decorate and have all my ornaments broken due to it falling again. Let's just say so far I haven't LOVED having a real tree. We have spent some time trying to get the whole stand thing to work....sigh....

Sweet girl with her million and one stuffed animals!! Love that she wants to be surrounded by all her lovies at bedtime!!

Sorry...this was kind of all over the place....trying to get the blog back up to date....so much more to post....Next year I WILL stay on top of blogging....I WILL stay on top of blogging....I WILL....
