Since we got home so late Halloween night we didn't really go through our candy. The kids had school on Thursday so we waited until Daddy got home to go through everything!!
The kids had a blast sorting through all of it! We let them have a few pieces so they were officially sugared up before bed but at least they were worn out anyways with having school all day. ;)
We had SO MUCH CANDY!! Most of it was candy I bought for a Halloween party. So we packed up a big bucket full and sent it with Daddy to work the next day!! Craig said it was gone in a few hours!!

On Friday I had a doctor's appointment so my friend Tracy helped me out with the kids. They of course had a BLAST hanging out with her and her girls!! I don't think Emery would ever be sad to have to spend the morning with her bestie Crawford!! Thank you thank you Tracy for helping me out!! I owe you!!
Only bad thing was when I got there to pick Max up he was crying about his ear again :( He cried off and on for about an hour and then passed out shortly after getting home. Poor thing!! I think partly his problem was exhaustion from the fun week and from getting up so early every morning. Not sure what is going on with that (maybe time change coming on) because he has been getting up an hour or more than usual!
Friday night we took it easy as we had family pictures the next morning!! We had them with Morris Photography in Arlington Town Square. The kids were well behaved so I can't wait to see what little "moments" she captured!!
After pictures we headed to Nana and Pawpaw's house to watch the TN football game!! We had a ton of fun eating and watching the game with them! Then home for naps! Kids rested and slept well so Craig and I gave them their Halloween "happy" that I forgot to give them on Halloween! LOL

Sunday was busy busy....I slept while the kids had church, make-up soccer game, and Wesley's birthday party!! Needless to say they were WORN out when they got home and I was heading to work. Monday was a usual Monday....kids had school and I slept. Tuesday Max had school and Em and I got some much needed house cleaning done!!
Wednesday we had a laid back morning. We went to visit Nana's work and collect money for the St Jude Trikeathon they were having at school. The kids racked up on donations!! Thank you, thank you to all of those that donated to a GREAT cause!! St Jude Children's Research Hospital!! Need I say more ;)
We came back home and had a little playdate with a friend from church Melanie and her kiddos Ripley and Eason!! After they left I had the kids lay down and they both PASSED out!! Can I say the time change this past Saturday has gotten my kids all out of wack!!
On Thursday the kiddos had their Trike-a-thon at school for St. Jude!! I missed taking pictures and being there as I was doing a class at work but I know the kids were pumped about it!! We actually got the helmets at Target the day before as we didn't have any. Neither of my kids have been big into bike riding and such but to ride a bike you had to wear a helmet for the fund raiser so.....we happily bought some new safety gear!! Emery actually loved her kitty helmet so much she wanted to sleep in it Wed night ;)
When I got home from my class on Thursday I was delighted with the news from my husband and Emery!! She pee-peed and pooped in the potty at school all day!! And she even took a nap at school!! What an AMAZING day for her!! This was her first time pottying for her teachers and her 2nd time taking a nap!! We were so so PROUD of her!! So of course I went to buy pull-ups and grabbed something she has been wanting for some time now!! A pillow pet dream light!!
"ohhhhh look mommy!! it bee-t-ful"!!! Emery LOVED her surprise and we are praying that she keeps up with this awesome potty training efforts!!
On Friday I had the second part to my class at work so Craig took off and had the kiddos to himself. They ran around and did a few fun things and then we met up at the zoo at 3 to enjoy (probably) the last beautiful day of the year. 70 degrees and sunny is definitely a beautiful day at the zoo!! It was so fun to be together as a family!! I could totally have Craig home everyday to help with the kiddos and do fun things!!
I would have to say this has been my FAVORITE zoo visit ever!! All the animals were so active!! Except for the panda below ;) But they are rarely awake when we are at the zoo anyways it was no surprise!! LOL
We just got to take in God's beautiful creations!! Gotta love being surrounded by trees of all colors, leaves falling, sunny sky, cool breeze, sounds of nature....etc...etc...What a blessing to be a part of all of this!!
Max's favorite part of the day!! The ducks were all out diving for food under the water so they had their bottoms up a lot!! Max thought this was hilarious!!! Emery's favorite part was the "pink" birds!! She kept going on and on about how "cute" they were!! LOL
After the zoo we made a pit stop at Costco to grab some snacks for our last soccer game of the season on Sat!! The kids spotted these HUGE Minnie and Mickeys and just had to give them a big hug!!
And lastly...which almost brings you up to where we are now....we made sticker charts for Emery and Max. Emery's is for potty training and honestly she only wants the sticker she doesn't care about the fact that she will get a treat if she fills up her sticker chart....so we may just go with that....
Max on the other hand got a sticker chart to help him to remember to listen well. He was a little jealous of the fact sister was getting one so we decided this would help him daily with remembering to listen!! Let me tell you I so should have thought of this months ago!! He has been doing so so good with listening and being attentive!! He wants a puppy dream light so he is working hard to be on his best behavior!! So PROUD of him!!
