Happy Halloween!!

Halloween morning we took things pretty easy as the kids didn't have school. I actually woke up to Max crawling into my bed and shortly after I heard Emery so I went and grabbed her. We all piled into my bed and hung out for a bit before we started our morning. I LOVE me some sweet cuddle time!!
After we got up and dressed we headed to the donut shop for the Halloween donuts!! Then off to run a few errands. Our last stop before heading to my friend Tracy's house was Buckhead Park. Our church park had this cute little fall decoration scene to take pictures so I thought we should stop by in our Halloween outfits and grab a few pictures!
The kids were crazy good and I got quite a few cute pictures!! Some with my camera and some with my iphone!

My favorites are the ones of Max trying to kiss Emery!! They both kept getting so tickled!! It was so cute!! Max would try and kiss Em on the nose...then the cheek....then the head ;)

My two cuties!! If only she would have had a bow to hold that hair back...this was the day Em did NOT want a bow ;) I just go with it. I don't want to push the bow on her as I know I hated to wear them when I was her age. (well that's what I have been told anyways....)

We got to Tracy's in time to make homemade pizzas!! My friend Tracy had Kelley and her three kiddos over as well. So we had 8 kiddos between the 3 adults and we had a BLAST!! First the kiddos made pizzas from these little kits that Tracy found at Walmart! So cute!!
Everybody say "CHEESE!!!"
After the pizzas we spent some time jumping in Tracy's bounce house and playing together!! So so fun!! We had a great time spending our Halloween day together with our friends!! Thanks Tracy for having us over!!
We went home and rested until Craig got home for dinner. We actually ate at Lenny's for dinner as I really wasn't in the mood for cooking and we had lots of places to go.
First stop was Grandmother and Granddaddy's house!! Kids enjoyed getting their first candies of the night!!
Then we met up at Candice's house so our kiddos could trick-or-treat together. Max and Noah we so pumped to see each other as well as Maggie and Emery!! The kids ran off ready to get some candy!!
Emery was a little unsure of it at first but she quickly joined in when she realized the kids were all getting candy!! She was so cute after each house..."Look I got CANDY!!!"
Max and Noah were all about it!! They wanted to go as fast as they good to get more goodies!!

We just went up and down Candice's street and then headed back to the house! Cute picture of the girls!!
And two of the boys!! Max and Noah!! I didn't even try and get a picture of the others all together as it was a little crazy when we got back. Everyone was ready to go through their goodies!!
Emery was quick to pick out a sucker as her first treat!! Yummy!! We didn't stay long and then it was off to Nana and Pawpaw's house!!

Nana and Pawpaw had a Halloween surprise out for the kids!!
They both got some candy, some cute little straws, a coloring/activity book, a halloween flash light and some felt faces for their pumpkins!! Thanks Nana and Pawpaw!!! The kids loved all their treats from you!!

Sweet pictures with Nana!!!
One with both Nana and Pawpaw!!

Family Pic!! Love Emery's sillyness in the bottom one!! She is so much like me sometimes its scary ;)
We left Nana's to run by Tracy's house on the way home. They had a fire pit set up and were just hanging out so we just stopped by for a minute!!

We had to stay long enough for a yummy yummy GHOST cupcake!!
Crazy girl screaming "CHEESE!!!"
Oh goodness we had a busy but FUN FUN night!! Love being able to celebrate and make sweet  memories with our friends and family!! So so BLESSED!!!

Halloween Parade at School!

On Tuesday the kids had a Halloween Parade at school. Emery doesn't go to school on Tuesdays but they allow her to participate in any fun events that happen as long as I stay at the school! So cool!! So anyways...we got up and got ready for our big event! Emery was being so sassy here had to post this picture....hand on her hip with her leg posed. Um.....where on earth does she get that diva side from??? LOL
Not a GREAT picture but pretty cute...you can see their cute little outfits!!We totally bribed them to stay still with candy or "andy" as Em calls it!
We got to school a little later since Em couldn't go into her room till 9:30 and the program didn't start till 9:45. All Max's friends were so excited to see him!! They ran up Max!, Max! and of course Max was excited to see them!! He ran around showing them all he was a Dallas Cowboy and he was #8 ;)
We we took Emery to her room we found out of the 12 kids in her class three of them were Minnie!! So cute! From left to right. Julia, Emery and Vivian!! These girls LOVE some Minnie Mouse!!
Then it was time to go to the auditorium. We sat and watched while the kids paraded in showing us their costumes!! It started out with the big kids and ended with the babies! It was so so cute to see all the kiddos in their costumes!! Max came in no problem and lined up with his class.
Emery on the other hand came in fretful and looking for me. She ran right over to me crying and saying "hold you!"
I took her back over to her class but she didn't want to stay. She kept getting upset and looking back for me. :(

After all the kids got lined up they sang 5 Little Pumpkins together!
Emery wasn't singing as she was sitting with Nana. She ran off shortly after I took her back to her class and she wouldn't come to me because she knew I would take her back. LOL Nana on the other hand would never do that ;) Smart girl!!
They also sang God is Bigger than the Boogie Man!! It was such a cute little program!
Then the kids all headed back to their rooms!

After back in their rooms the kids lined back up to go trick-or-treating around to each classroom. Emery said she was "cared" "I cared Nana!" So Nana stayed to walk around with her. We are guessing that all the costumes freaked her out a little during the program.

I stayed in Emery's room and handed out candy. So I got a few pictures of them heading back to class. Emery was running "I got andy, Momma!!"
Sweet little friends!!
Here comes Max's class going trick-or-treating!!

Craig caught Max's class taking pictures!! The lighting was horrible in the auditorium so the pictures aren't great. But it is fun to see all their little costumes!!
After that the bigger kids went to the fellowship hall to participate in a FUN Halloween party!! I volunteered to help out so Em just tagged along with me! They had face painting station, necklace making, pumpkin craft, games and more!
Playing some games!!
Making a Halloween necklace!! It wasn't long after the party started that Max said he didn't feel well. He started crying his ear hurt :(
He was really crying hard and pulling at his ear. He even asked me to call the doctor. Poor baby! So we headed out to the doc. We missed the rest of the Halloween party and lunch with our friends and Emery missed her little Halloween party at lunchtime :( But I have never seen my little man acting like this! I know he wasn't feeling well at all. The entire way to the doctor he kept crying and saying "Hurry Mommy get me there, the doctor needs to get this out of my ear!"
He was pitiful the entire time we were at the doctor. We saw Dr. Dellinger as this was Dr. C off day. She was super sweet and was quick to try and figure out what was going on. Max's ear checked out okay so doc thought maybe strep. Strep test way negative but his right lymph node behind his ear was HUGE!! So doc thinks he has an infected lymph node....She gave him some Motrin at the office and then sent us on our way with a script for Suprax.
It wasn't long in the car that little man passed out! Okay so this is totally NOT like him!! It was 12:15!! We went and got his antibiotic and ran around to 3 different Walgreens to find it. Ugh (that is a long story). Max got a good nap in the car and then we headed home for some lunch. After lunch we had nap time/ rest time. Max was happy to lay around for me today. Poor baby wasn't feeling that great but he was much much better!
After naptime I let them check out their goodies they got from trick-or-treating at school! They were pumped!!

Silly glasses!! Emery picked these out for her classmates and of course she slipped bubba a pair too! Emery would put these on and say "Look at me Momma, silly glasses!!!" and "Emmie (that is how she Emery) silly!!"

Kids got lots of yummy treats at school!! So so glad my little man is feeling better this afternoon!! Praying this lymph node goes down quick and he is back to normal fast!!
And I just have to throw this out there too! We LOVE St Paul Preschool!! It is such a wonderful school and I am so blessed that my friend Tracy told us about it last year! Today the Halloween Parade was nice but I am saying this in the way everyone was so sweet and caring about how Max wasn't feeling like himself. I can't thank his teachers and the school enough for caring for my child as if he was their own! So so blessed to have my children in such a caring, loving environment!!
