My baby girl is 6 months!!

Our sweet baby girl turned 6 months just a few days ago! I can't believe she is already half a year old already!
One Week!
Three Months!

Six Months!
Such a lil sweetie pie! We are so truly blessed to have her in our life! We go for her 6 month check up tomorrow so I will do her official 6 month post after we get her weight and height! Just wanted to show how much she has grown!! And of course just how BEAUTIFUL she is!!! We love you sister!

Rubber Duckie!

Since Emery has been sitting up here and there I thought Iwould get out the duck tub we use to use with Max! First, we tried it out just so she wouldn't be scared of it....ha no worries here! This girl just laid back in it like she was relaxing!! She just cracks me up sometimes!!
Well, once it was filled with water she was in LOVE with it! She was laughing and splashing and having a good ole time!

How funny is this face! Like okay mom why on earth are you taking pictures of me while I am in the bath! UGH! Don't you just love all those ROLLS!!! I can just eat her up!!!

Let us not forget Max! He has had just as much fun in this tub as he did when he was a baby! I mean wasn't it just yesterday that I was taking pictures of him in it.....tear....tear.....

Having me some PUFFS!

Okay so since Emery doesn't seem to like baby food that much and she keeps grabbing at all of our foods....
I thought I would give the gerber puffs a try with her even though they say that they are for crawlers and she is no where near being a crawler!
She wasn't sure at first but now that girl gets excited when she sees them!

I just went out and bought a few different kinds today! She seems to like them all! So glad to find a food (other than her bottle) that she gets excited about!!

Playing catch up....

I have had so many intentions of catching up on the blog and it seems that time just keeps slipping away......These past couple of weeks have been a little crazy around here.

Notice above we went out and splurged a little on a new Ipad! And I must say that we LOVE it! I think Max might just love it more than any of us! LOL No, but on a serious note it has been such a blessing lately with pumping and feeding Emery! Max loves getting to play while I do those things and it makes for a much more pleasant quiet time :)
On the downside...we have all been sick these past few weeks. Emery has been getting up numerous times at night and along with me being sick I have needed naps too! So, the only way I can do that is by sticking both babies in my bed with me. I was in between the two if you can imagine me squeezed in the middle...LOL I snuck out to have a little "me" time and had to get a quick pic of my two little ones all snuggled in my bed! It has been quite special to be able to take naps with my babies!

We have had lots of "FIRSTS" these past two weeks too! Emery started trying out a sippy cup! With my help of course! And in this particular cup is apple juice! Yes...I know I shouldn't be giving a baby juice yet....but the poor little girl was constipated (another first) I mean seriously how many breast fed babies do you know that get constipated!! Ugh! I tried prunes which she hated and screamed the entire time I tried to feed them to her so I opted for apple juice! She didn't really care about it like I thought she would!

Emery is now sitting for a few minutes here and there. I wouldn't call her a sitter just yet.....
but she is doing a pretty good job at it!
Let's see....I missed her 25 week photo and this cute one here is her 26 week chair photo! I just can't stay on top of things like I did when I only had one! Sorry Emery you know I love you girlie!

Poor Max has been having a rough time lately. He has hit what I would call "terrible twos"! I feel like he stays in trouble a lot of the time....he is constantly testing his boundaries and he is something else if things aren't just going HIS way! I am just praying for God to give me the guidance we need to lead him in the right direction. I have been working hard on staying calm when he gets out of hand because I have quickly figured out that when I lose it things just seem to get increasingly WORSE! I can only hope I can continue to stay calm when he is throwing these fits! I have to keep reminding myself he is only 2 and a half. I feel like since he is so advanced for his age I tend to forget he is still a baby himself!
Little Miss Emery on the other hand seems to be getting much better during the day....she is still so fussy at night but I think it is just because she would like to go to be earlier than we put her to bed. The only problem is she is already getting up between 6-7 and if I were to put her down earlier I think I would be getting up between 4-5....ummmmm....no thanks! We shall deal with Miss Fussy Pants at nighttime! LOL

We introduced her to carrots and frozen grapes! She seemed to like the carrots okay and she LOVED the grapes! Her gums on the bottom are getting pretty thick so I think we may have some bottom teeth coming in soon! Which with that being said could be why we have had some crazy sleepless nights around here with Emery! Teething and 6 month growth spurt along with being sick about did me in!! Hence why I am so FAR behind in blogging.....

Now, to catch you up on a few more.....

Baby Mum Mums!

Yesterday, we tried out these little rice cakes with Emery! Max loved them when he was little so I thought Emery might like them too! They dissolve so quickly and are not too messy which makes a mommy happy!
She really didn't do too much with it! I think once we try them a few times she will get the hang of it!

It kept her entertained while I was pumping which was nice!

And she actually shared with Max! I think Max may have enjoyed it more than Emery! Ha!

Who knew rice cakes could be so FUN and YUMMY!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy "late" Valentine's Day!

So my embroidery machine has been in shop for over a week and before that it wasn't sewing good so I didn't get around to making the kids Valentine's outfits....however...I did come home after working all night Sunday night and make Max a shirt for school! I decided to go with his name so he could wear it this summer and get more than just one day out of it! Poor Emery didn't get a Valentine's shirt though! Good thing I bought this cute little sleep n play number!

I think she looks CUTE in anything!! I just wish I would have had time to make her a 1st Valentine's outfit! Oh well....

Max had a FUN day at school! He had a Valentine's Party and Valentine exchange! His favorite part of the day was being able to play outside! It was such a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

Check out all his goodies!!!

Max enjoyed going through everything and seeing what all he got!

I love this pic because it looks like he is actually reading it! LOL

I asked Max if he wanted to hold his sister and gets some pictures and he was like YEA! I think it is so sweet how he has just fallen in love with "his baby sister!"

I can't say I got the BEST pictures but I love them all! Max just talks so sweetly to her (most of the time) and Emery just ADORES her big brother!

I mean seriously how SWEET are these pictures!

Since it was such a beautiful day we just had to play outside!

Emery LOVED being able to sit in the stroller without the car seat! She is getting so BIG!

After Emery went down for a nap Max and I got some Bball time in!

Check it out! Max can dribble! He is actually pretty good for a 2 1/2 year old!

Craig brought some Jim and Nicks home for dinner which was fabulous because (a) I didn't have to cook and (b) I didn't have to clean up either! Wahoo! After bath time we gave Max his little Valentine's happy! We got him a Wii game that has all kind of sport games on it! He LOVED it of course!

And as most of you can imagine he played BASKETBALL first! LOL

What a WONDERFUL Valentine's Day it was even if I was sleep deprived! We are truly blessed to be able to share this day together as a family!

Max's FIRST Memphis Tigers Basketball Game!

Max went to his FIRST Memphis Tigers Basketball Game Saturday night with his daddy!
A friend of Craig's at work gave him these tickets! How sweet was that!
Here are Max and Daddy before the game! Tigers are #1!!!

This was really the first time that Craig and Max have done a little father/son outing! And let me tell you...they had a BLAST!!!

Craig told me that Max LOVED every minute of it!

Max was cheering, screaming, eating, and soaking it ALL in! Craig said that Max didn't quite get that he wasn't suppose to cheer for both teams when they made a basket! LOL

It was a CLOSE game but the Tigers pulled out a WIN!!! What a wonderful way to end a great day and night!!!

I talked to Max that night while I was at work and he was just beside himself! I don't think I have heard him so excited about anything as much as he was about going to the basketball game! He kept asking me if I wanted to go with him to another basketball game! Such a lil sweetie!! We actually are going to a Memphis Grizzlies game very soon and I CAN'T WAIT!
